This is a overall review since I have been here more times than I can count. I feel that if I go more than a week or two without stopping by than something is wrong. They have a great weekday happy hour until 7 pm which includes cheaper food and cheaper glasses of wine and beer (the house wine is surprisingly good). I have been making my way through the menu over the past year or two and have almost tried everything. There were very few dishes that I did not like (some of the larger entrees were actually my least favorite stick to the smaller plates).The staff is super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable of the entire menu both food and wine. If youre feeling adventurous try coming in and only eating and drinking off of the servers recommendations; its very fun to try. Somethings to mention that could be seen by some as a negative are that on fri and sat its valet parking only (they seem to have a little trouble with manual cars so be cautious) and the other is there are no reservations (you can call ahead and give them a idea if you have a larger party) I have never had to wait more than 10 min even on a Friday happy hour. If youre looking for a good wine bar to enjoy with friends this is the place to be!

This place is amazing. After realizing a storm was approaching, I had to relocate the my winery bridal shower to a restaurant or bistro just a few days in advance. Dolce Vita staff graciously helped my sister plan it out! The day of my shower, we showed up and found a chalk sign announcing my shower, which was a personal touch that made me feel special and welcome. Staff members greeted us at the door and allowed us to bring in cakes we had had made, which they then refrigerated and then later sliced and served beautifully. DV provided champagne and wine in addition to a beautiful and delicious lunch. Staff were observant and attentive and made us feel like VIPs! I will definitely be going back for ladies nights with my friends and date nights with my soon to be husband! I cannot express my thanks enough to the staff for making the day so wonderful and memorable! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

This is a quiet sophisticated place that serves excellent food and good wine in a delightful atmosphere. The owners the managers and the wait staff are all friendly and provide good and knowledgeable service. The combination of a wine bar with inventive casual fare and an excellent, traditional Italian restaurant next door is unbeatable.

The excellent reviews here on Google made us try it, and we were rather disappointed. Service and staff were good, however the food is cheaply done with poor ingredients. If you like your dinner salty and with no flavor, this is your place. Seems to be popular however my wife and I will not return, there are far better choices

Dolce Vita Cucina Italiana is just along the Fairfax Blvd serving authentic Italian food in the town. Fusion of wine bar with traditional Italian food sticks out. Service time really stands out. Gift Cards of Dolce Vita makes perfect gifts for holidays, anniversaries, birthdays or any special occasion. Deserves a stopover!
