We drove over 3 hours round trip to try the prime rib at this restaurant and then we get there and they have a literally raw prime rib sitting there that nobody wanted or could eat, The servers could not even cut it and were laughing and joking about how it was raw but they had already turned off the ovens and grill so if we wanted prime rib this was it! That was unacceptable! I like rare meat but raw is going too far and the workers found it amusing, So hard working people spending their hard earned money for something you dont have is amusing? I feel so ripped off and they made me feel so disrespected... My family travels a long ways to go there at least twice a month and we get treated like this? well I should say we USE to travel a long ways to go there because we are looking for a new place to frequent now.

This is not your moms golden corral lol. Used to be a place Id avoided for years because the food & service were horrible. This one is GREAT 5 STARS ✨ newly constructed the food is amazing, the wait staff are friendly & on the ball and the manager Chrystie is sweet and professional, always greeting you with a smile. If anything isnt right, shell do her best 2 fix it . From dinner to dessert this is at really great place to eat

The food is typical buffet fare. If thats what youre looking for then youll certainly be satisfied. My issue is with the bathrooms which are a sanitary nightmare. Black toilets and dark decore with seemingly no regular checks on the condition of the stalls or paper supplies makes for a disgusting combination. The smell and filth hidden by the decor effectively kill my appetite and make me more inclined to do take out if at all.

The foods are very nice, the bathrooms are horrifying, the eggs seem.. weird... The chocolate fountain was a big plus! But, when the foods are all gone, its not that fast when it gets refilled. I want more cheese pizza because every time I go, I have to wait for the cheese pizzas to come, its all pepperoni... But the waiters are very nice and polite.

The food is good, but the open concept floor plan makes it quite a journey for elderly folks, since rather than center locations as before the renovation, now it is one long stretch of food bars. Also it tends to be noisy, making it sometimes difficult to hear each other, especially for any already a bit hard of hearing.

Its ok, with a large selection, but they assume everyone Dining here knows how everything works. I walked around for five minutes looking for a large cup. The fresh made omelets need to lighten up on the grease/oil. The sausage patties tasted more like prepackaged, microwaved food. Loved the corned beef hash.

This was my first time eating at the Colonial Heights, VA location of Golden Corral. I came with my family and had the buffet. Delicious!! Meatloaf, pot roast and potatoes, chicken, fish, shrimp, mac-n-cheese, string beans, corn-on-the-cob, etc. Delicious desserts such as cake, cookies, and ice cream.

It was pretty easy to find parking for a Friday afternoon! The restaurant is fairly clean, the only downside is the bathroom. The food is decent it is a buffet and your paying a fairly low price so dont expect anything spectacular. But its a family friendly place and it will fill your appetite!

Although this Golden Corral is small, the food is very good. They also off military discounts and thats a plus. Each time Ive been there, our waitress/server was very friendly and nice. We actually had her each time we went. The only downside is that people WILL SMOKE RIGHT BY THE DOOR.

Waitress was great!! But dishes was nasty to the point i got the manager who was very rude and wasnt surprised!! This was the only location i would attend from other nasty experiences with different locations.... I guess they are all under the same management now !!! Such a waste!

Lines were to long. Slow in getting foods refilled. Table service was decent, eggs were complete garbage. Chocolate fountain was fun. And gravy to watery. Will put ice in drink with asking... Rude. Bathroom layout is weird, not personal. And piss all over the floor....

It was just ok. Very chaotic as place was packed with people. We could not even approach the grill section. The food we could get to was decent. Bring your patience when eating here. However, not really worth the time or aggravation.

Awesome. No complaints, great food, fresh, always stocked it seems. Clean building, even the bathrooms were sparkling. Not to mention the friendly environment that surpassed my expectations easily. Id give this location 10 stars lol

Entering the building was a little slow because they make you fill your own drinks prior to paying for your buffet meal, which created a little line. The food was very good. Plenty of seats were available for Saturday dinner.

Loads of Variety. Organized. Always fresh and warm. Great waiters. My favorite is the Popcorn Shrimp. The desert is always great as well. Leads to overeating sadly... Expensive, but definitely tasty!

I must say this is the worst experience I have ever had. The host totally inorged me and they over charged me for my food. On top of all the food was not good
