I live right down the street from Cobbs Creek Diner every single time I have been in there they always make something wrong the last time I was in there I ordered hamburger steak with two sides talk to two different people the first person couldnt understand what I was trying to order the second person took my order and when I got there they had made the hamburger steaks with no sides so I had to wait another 10 minutes to get my sides I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy right in front of her face I ordered the sides and yet they still did not put gravy on my mashed potatoes. I ordered a salad and they gave me a huge bowl of lettuce thats it just seems like every single time I go there or order something from there nothing is ever right this restaurant Ramsey makeover it badly

Live Music & great atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Our running club held our monthly meeting at Cobbs Creek Diner this month. We are going to start meeting here every other Saturday morning for a group run. The service was good and BBQ was tasty - you feel welcome & comfortable at Cobbs Creek Diner. They have the smokers outside which really spreads the BBQ aroma around the neighborhood. Well definitely be back!

Cobbs Creek Diner is located in what used to be the local market. It is family friendly with a playground out front. This is your average family-owned country restaurant with a twist. They have a smoker out back for preparing the signature dish: VA BBQ. Most of the sides are fried and the prices are mostly inexpensive. The food is not the best, but it is decent and worth the price. Sometimes they have live music.

Great food, family style atmosphere, and staff! Torrance and I love the pork rinds and cOnversation... We plan to eat our way through the menu! We started with beef brisket and liver and onions. Next perhaps a pizza and cold beer!!! Look forward to our next vIsit with the Forrest family!!! Absolutely love them!!! Yall come down to the diner.

Amazing place for breakfast lunch and dinner. Amazing friendly staff. Family atmosphere. Best BBQ, burgers and pizza in Mathews and Gloucester. Give their butt fries a try. They make all their desserts homemade on site, as well as everything else they serve. Everything is fresh and done the way mama would have done in her own kitchen.

The folks who serve you are amazing people. To be completely honest, the plates are WAY over priced. Some might argue that it is totally worth it since the meat is smoked on site, and pretty much everything is made from scratch. Like Cracker Barrel, but smaller and picky about staffing.
