Whats more alluring than a desolate restaurant with a nice assortment of different kinds of trash on the outside lined up waiting for you to step on it, from empty alcohol bottles and blunt wraps laying around for the public to view. But wait! The inside where the bar tender looks suspicious but maybe thats a sales tactic to get you to drink more... I sure would. The smell of body odor leaking through the walls and it looks like a senior citizen buffet without the senior citizen discount. You get your burger its a mile high! But only because the gmo garbage lettuce is towering beneath the buns. Theres a few sauces to choose from covered in grease and other sauces but maybe thats for extra flavor. The tvs are small you cant really watch the game unless you sit at the pedo bar which consists of two people wearing fedoras. But the place is kind of hidden beneath the trees and a few other restaurants which may help with why it was so slow and why the employees had such a horrible lack of enthusiasm . Me and my boyfriend have a bulldog that is more capable of running a restaurant..it was only 29 dollars but I would have rather gone to ihop. I will say the smokey bones in town center area is nice.. But every man for himself in this depressing environment.

The waiter was very rude and disrespectful While taking my drink order he said that he was tired and began to rush for my drink request. When I asked what drink would he recommend his reply was i dont know i drink beer with an attitude. I then asked which drinks are frozen he then point to random things on the menu as if I was bothering him so I just decided on any drink not even certain of what it was. My sister that was also with me did the same. Once he received our drink orders that he was so in a hurry to get he walks away to the table behind us with a much happier attitude laughing joking if Im not mistaken i believe he even took a seat at the table and held a full conversation while still holding the drink orders. When he finally decided to go put in our drink order we asked for the manager who did appear so we informed another waitress the drink order can be cancelled we are leaving as we are walking out the host tells us that the manager was on her way and pointed to a lady standing at the take area doing so our issues where not important i have been informing all who will listen of this horrible experience as i have been to other smokey bones and received excellent service Will never return to this one

Two stars only because the food was good, when we arrived at nearly 6pm on a Saturday night there were no hostesses to be seen as random servers and Im pretty sure managers seemingly caught eyes and quickly glanced away we ended up being rescued by a server who went in search of the missing hostesses after a good 3-4 minutes. Waitress came and took our order fairly quickly, but once the waters were brought she was not to be seen again until the food arrived, after promptly running out of water about 1/4 through the meal I began to cock and rear my head in excited anticipation of a refill but to no avail. 3/4 through the meal I resorted to shaking the glass for dear drops like some kind of mad max character. Finally, after finishing the meal for 10 minutes, our server asks if we were ready to pay or wanted dessert. We chose to desert this location and will likely not return due to the service.

Always poor service when Im with a group. The night manager (the bald black male), has the worse customer service. Every time we go we say were not coming back, but I do believe after this letter Im going to write and have my colleagues sign, we will not return. Why would you understaff on graduation day/night? Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance! I felt so sorry for our waitress! You made her job extra hard tonight! Charging peoples credit cards for the wrong tabs. You manage worse than the Caucasian lady that was there a few montha ago. Now instead of walking out of the office across the parking lot to enjoy the food, we will walk across the parking lot to our vehicles and drive to Buffalo Wild Wings or TGIF. Anywhere but Smokey Bones!!!! That poor waitress needs a raise!!!

Along with good tasting food and cleanliness, the Smokey Bones in Chesapeake was lacking far worse things than the latter. The management was completely terrible and reminded one of a 3rd grade class being let out for recess. Most of all, our bartender, Cedar Sutton, was the rudest and non-professional bartender my wife and I had ever dealt with. Not only were the drinks under-poured (apparently trying to save on his liquor costs) but he made the bar experience out to feeling like we were inconveniencing him by dining at his bar. Also, I have never heard that many curse words or rude comments in my life from a bartender at a so-called "family restaurant" 0/5 if I could. BEWARE!!!!

I always go here to the bar for the late night menu. Food is always delicious and the staff are very friendly and attentive. They recently did a remodel of the restaurant which boosted the ambience of the environment, and it feels much more welcoming. Recommended is the nachos with either pork or chicken. The skillet corn bread is moist and on point all the time. I would like to highlight that Ariel, Katy, and Mykayla are always checking up on if I need another refill or if I want another beer. I give this place 5 Stars because of great food, a clean establishment, and my number one on the list, superb customer service, especially on busy days where a major game is on TV.

Sub-par food and kitchen service. We were told we had to wait 25 minutes for a table. When they finally seated us we were taken to the back where there were at least 15 empty tables. What were we waiting for? We ordered and when the food came it was disappointing. The brisket was dry, the potatoes were cold and stiff, and the ribs were mediocre. The kitchen put lettuce on my wifes sandwich even though she asked for no lettuce. Our waiter noticed and had it taken back but then they also took off the avocado. The onion rings were pretty good. Besides our attentive waiter, the rest of the experience left us wanting. I would not recommend this place.

HORRIBLY SICK AFTER EATING HERE....I love Smokey Bones, I have been coming here for a long time now and have never encountered an issue until last night. I purchased beef brisket, ribs & pulled pork within about 2 hours I was vomiting it all back up all night I was sick over this food I had eaten here. I immediately called the manager "Randy" regarding this issue, he then told me since no one else had complained, basically maybe I was just sick, but insisted it wasnt from THEIR food. IT was most certainly from their food.. I will be contacting corporate about this problem since they do not want to own up to it.

(5stars for food 1 for service) absolutely love smokey bones the food is always great! However lastnight I wasnt so pleased. I traveled an hour and a half to this location to have dinner with friends. After being seated (which was very quick) 20 minutes went by and we hadnt even placed drink orders. We decided to leave because we had waited way to long (they werent even busy). I spoke with the manager and he was extremely sympathetic and said he would get us take care of. I respectfully declined after letting him know how disappointed was. We ended up going to Olive Garden instead and the food was MARVELOUS
