Visited this location for lunch 9/26/12.- arrived around 11:45am - location was NOT busy.- honestly I had a meeting at 130 and had some time to kill, so I was not stressed over time. After being seated and waiting 10 minutes (without being greeted) I went to the bathroom to wash my hands (I was gone for 2 minutes)- when I returned to the table, I found that it had been cleared. I took my seat again, smiled at servers as they walked by- I was greeted by someone (finally) and she took my drink order- she did inform me that she was not my server. About 5 minutes later, MY server brings my drink to me, she apologized for my wait. (I appreciated that she noted that). I placed my order- Chicken BLT. 30 minutes pass, and my server stops at my table to inform me that the Cook had prepared the wrong sandwich- she had made a Buffalo chicken instaead- but was making mine "on the fly" and it should be right out. She refilled my drink and moved on to other guests. I do need to mention that the restaurant is still NOT busy.- by now it was around 1230. 15 more minutes pass, my food finally arrives. (I thought the Chicken BLT was grilled- it was not... which was my fault for not reading that detail.) My phone rang, and it was a client so I had to take the call - thought I would be on my way by this point. While on the phone I look at my lunch, the bun actually had buffalo sauce on it, the chicken was WAY over cooked- and fries had been sitting for sometime. I took a bite of the Chicken sandwich, difficult to cut into- and I bit into a piece of fat/gristle- I politely put it into my napkin and pick at my fries.... I am still on the call still when the sever and manager stop by- so I am unable to say anything. I finish my call and do not eat anymore of my sandwich and I am also not checked on again by either the manager or my server- My plate is still completely full... I pushed the bun to the side since it had the buffalo sauce on it... and I had not had anymore of the chicken and there were still fries on the plate- at this point I was over it. My server comes over and asks if I am finished with my plate -which is still full. I say yes. She returns with my check- nothing had been comp’d - even after everything- I guess that it is normal at this location for people to leave their plates un-touched? I paid $12 for lunch - and left a cash tip- ($5) I come from the service industry- worked for a competing chain through college so I "get it" but the over- all experience was so negative that I will never return to a Ruby Tuesday and Highly recommend staying away from this one.

Dined there this past Wednesday (Spring 2013). I cannot say enough compliments about my experience at this Ruby Tuesday. A friend and I were staying at a nearby hotel and we just wanted something better than Subway/McDonalds, etc. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked in. Two staffers opened the doors for us. We were seated quickly and the food came out fast. We started off with the Shrimp Fondue. REAL GOOD! I made my own salad and it was all fresh. I probably could have eaten it without dressing and been happy. I got a crab cake entree and it was good. I wish they had Old Bay seasoning but whatever sauce they had (tarter mixed with something else) tasted really good. Between the salad, fondue and crab cake my taste buds have never felt so pleased. Seriously I was expecting an OK dinner but never did I expect an affordable meal to beat one I had at a classy NYC restaurant. The next time I go back to Norfolk VA I will definitely stop by the Broad Creek Ruby Tuesday!

Took off 1 star for the ant problem. The first table we sat at was a booth by windows. There were ants crawling on the top of the booth behind my head, they were crawling all over the seats and a ton on the floor crawling on my feet. The next booth we moved to had the same problem. So, we moved to a table in the middle of the floor. There were still ants all over the ground and they were crawling all over my feet and purse. Took off another star for the soggy bottom bun on my burger. Kid you not, it came to the table like that. Being that I was starving and wasnt about to waste time trying to eat somewhere else, I ate it anyway. Service was decent enough, but unfortunately, we wont be coming back to this location.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Restaurant was not very busy when we arrived at 12:20pm. The wait staff was nice but the service was very slow. The food was not good. I ordered a chicken cesar salad and most of the chicken was stringy and tough, the croutons were soft and stale, and the cesar dressing was too fishy. My wife ordered grilled chicken with zucchini and mashed potatoes. The chicken came out with zucchini kind of thrown on the plate and they forgot the mashed potatoes. The waitress brought them out a few minutes later. Her chicken wasnt much better than mine. I wouldnt go back to this restaurant.

We were seated quickly. The restaurant was pretty mich empty. It took our waitress 15mins to bring us water. She when my friend wanted to order a mixed drink tje waitress stated aint you a shame its too early. Which that was not her place to say. We ordered. Then another 30mins went by. The told me in my lunch time frame that they couldnt cook my burger. My lunch time frame was hour. I went and got a manger and told her everything that happened. She was nice enough to handle every thing and get our food out. But the service was horrible from tje waitress.

Our waitresses Dorothy and Bridgette were excellent! One of them was training which I couldnt tell because she knew everything to say and ask. I am 7 months pregnant and they helped me move the chair back so I could feel comfortable. They were tending to all our needs. Filled our drinks when we needed them filled. Food was great! I will be coming here more often especially because of the kind and professional service from Dorothy and Bridgette we received today! Thanks ladies!

My wife and I met at this location. It is very special to me since my wife was killed a couple of years ago. We were camping and were attacked by grizzly bears while in Alaska. The bears must have smelled my wife menstrating. It was savage. The food is pretty good here but service and atmosphere is great. Recommend the salad bar.

Our waitress was very good. We had a party of 10 with reservations and advised management that we had to be in and out in an hour and a half, but I dont think the kitchen staff was made aware. All in all the food looked picture perfect and I assume it was good because I heard no complaints.

The service sucks, their rude, the general manager preferred to hit on us then serve us after waiting, we had to ask another waiter for our check. ON A SCALE OF 1 to 10 ITS THE CRUMMIEST SERVICE EVER A ZERO is what it gets. And this was after giving it repeat chances and random servers!
