It has been an amazing experience....I usually only order fajitas when I go to Mexican restaurants....but my husband told me to try something different....I tried the shrimp rancho Grande....it was delish!!!! I am very amazed. We also ordered the Texas dip, that was also amazing. My only complaint is that the guacamole salad should be made fresh and chunky....it was very smooth making me think it came from a bottle. But other than that everything was simply amazing....we will definitely be coming back soon.....now let me finish this amazing food. Now lets see if they do military discount.....

I enjoy the food and usually the service. But my lady went in to eat dinner with my son and I received a phone call that basically said that her waiter was hitting on her non stop. Saying I love you and asking if she has a man. Sitting at her table the whole time. And the waiter did all of this in front of my 5 year old son. I am super disappointed and we most likely will not go back. He is very lucky that I was not able to come down there right then and there. I truly hope you do a better job hiring people that have more class.

We stopped in to take out some food. They gave us a seat so we could look over the menu. The server came and was very polite to us even though we werent dining in. It didnt take long for our food to come after ordering. We were surprised that it even came with the tortilla chips we would have been eating had we dined in. These were the best chimichangas I had eaten in a while and my husband had an amazing sampler. Really delicious food, great quality, fantastic service. Cant wait to go back.

This place is so good. The best Mexican restaurant around. Ive been coming here since it opened and no other Mexican place compares to the fast and friendly service at Rancho Grande. They arent afraid to make their salsa spicy, and they dont put too much garlic in it. They make fresh guacamole, tableside. Im sure they lied to me about putting lard in their refried beans. I dont eat pork so this is an issue for me but other than that, this place is great.

Fantastic food and reasonable prices. A very casual fun atmosphere. Great for families and large groups. Whenever we get together for dinner out with our friends this is always the place we think of first. The staff is fantastic very considerate and helpful. I have never had a bad experience here, and I have been coming here for at least 15 years.

The service was excellent it was just the presentation of the food that was lackluster. The table side guac was mashed to mush and the refried beans looked like a side order from Taco Bell. Theres a million other Mexican restaurants offering the same thing and nothing about this restaurant really distinguishes itself from the rest.

Rancho Grande is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Hampton Roads. I used to go here weekly and was never disappointed. Awesome staff, great food and really good prices. I make at least one trip here every time Im back in town. Its still the place I compare all other Mexican restaurants to and none have topped it yet.

We have been going here since they first opened their doors. They did experience a few growing pains. Now we go weekly and are very satisfied, or we wouldnt keep returning. The food is good, as is the service. The prices are fair for dinner. The lunch menu is great. I love tacos and they have the best.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE BEST RESTUARANT. TODAY 09/29/2009, MY BILL WAS NOT CORRECT. THEY ACT LIKE THEY COULD NOT UNDERSTAND, WHEN IT WAS TIME TO CORRECT MY BILL. IVE ORDERED THE SAME THING FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS, ALL OF THE SUDDEN MY BILL HAS EXTRA CHARGES. U LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER WITH A GROUP OF FIVE!!!!!!!

Lunch Take out is absolutely the best. When I am quoted a 10 minute time frame, I can count on it being ready to go when I walk in the door. The food is very good and the service is always great weither I dine in or take out. Highly recommend to anyone. Keep up the great work.

Lived in Hampton roads 23 years, been to probably 50 different mexican restaurants, and this is the best. Their table side guacamole is awesome, burrito loco is best thing on the menu, great margaritas and price is right. Decor is just ok,but who cares, food is awesome!

This place is always awesome! We used to live closer and went there at least twice a month. The food is great, the service is extremely responsive and the price is spot on! I love love their chips and white sauce. I usually get their #28 or chicken fajitas.

Clean and home feel restaurant. The food was delicious . I got the three fish tacos with rice. My kids were there and they enjoyed themselves and the food also. Friends invited use to eat with them and everybody plate was clean. We will return again.

Ive been eating here for the last 6 or 7 yrs and never had a bad experience! The best salsa and white sauce in HR! Its absolutely yummy!!! Their Chori pollo is scrumptious, Carne Asada to die for, Margaritas oh so yummy!!! Try it youll love it!

OK at best. Salsa is bland, maybe from a jar. I had several different meals there and none were that great: the taco salad had a shell, lettuce, cheese, beef and nothing else--like it was for a kid. Never had a major complaint though.

Very nice and very authentic Mexican restaurant ...!! We tried a couple of the main dishes as well as sides. VERY GOOD fresh flavor..! The drinks were very healthy and robust and did their job really well :) GO HERE TODAY....!!!!

Food always comes out really fast. Fast wait staff. Good food. Only thing I could complain about is their chips are usually dry to the point you choke on them, but their free so I guess you really cant say much.

The mushroom quesadillas are to die for. They use fresh mushrooms and the taste represents that. My wife and I have been going to this and the other location for years, add we will be coming for years to come.
