Good food but the waitress seems to be in a bad mood because she did not want to take care of us and when we learned she spoke rudely. We could not eat. Buena comida pero la mesera parece que estaba de mal humor porque no nos quiso atender y cuando nos aprendió nos habló de forma grosera. No pudimos comer.

They usually have good service but yesterday i went with my family and we ate outside. I went in to get some menus at the front desk and the lady was rude..she new we were outside waiting and never came to us, then another really nice waitress came to get our orders and said that she wasnt told that we were out there and the lady at the front desk lied to her about giving us menus. I was livid! But i must admit the food was delicious!

Old havent been there in a while it almost cost me fifty bucks for snacks for three people a couple tacos and a burrito with beans and rice they messed up the whole order we got beef instead of chicken chicken instead of beef then they tried to charge us for the employees meal they already paid for and was taking him with them LOL never go back and I love my original mexican food

Not what I expected for authentic food. Dry tortillas and rubbery. Ran out of what I wanted and I have to pay extra for tomatoes and sour cream on your fajitas. Crazy. Other Mexican restaurants have everything included. AND they didnt give me my nachos. I ordered out and they forgot to put it in my bag after charging me. Smh!! Will give them one more chance...

This place is as authentic as you get in Lancaster. It may look like a dive from the drive when passing by, but inside is delicious food. I personally loved the tongue tacos, while my kids loved the quesadillas. The whole fried fish was a bit overcooked but still delicious. And this place is as laid back as you can get. Dont forget to BYOB.

The food was delicious, the service was good, but I was afraid to touch anything in their restrooms because they werent very well maintained. The place has a convenience store/ restaurant hybrid feel because theres prepackaged food for sale on 2 of the walls. Overall I would visit again, but dont go expecting fine dining.

My experience was not too great. They werent that busy-- but I still didnt get too great of service. The food was edible but mostly boring. Maybe being so far northeast they have to do that. This wasnt a traditional Mexican restaurant and what I had was not freshly made. As a Texan this place was a disappointment.

Our family has enjoyed this little treasure regularly since friends introduced us to it. The atmosphere is simple, but cozy and clean. The waitresses are pleasant and helpful. And the food makes the half-hour drive worthwhile. Were going tonight for the second time in 10 days, if that tells you anything...

They have pretty good food but was disappointed in theyre willingness to please.. I got a soda and it had absolutely no fizz and was obviously really old,.. they refused to give me a fresh one or take it off the bill.. so not worried about the dollar or 2 but was really lame customer service

My husband and I frequent La Borimex as often as possible! The guacamole is to die for! Love the chicken burrito with black beans and rice. I would refer anyone that loves mexican food to go. It is BYOB if you want alcoholic beverages. Servings are large so come hungry!

Classic hole-in-the-wall restaurant...2 or 3 stars for service and ambience; 6 stars for food! Server was friendly but not the most attentive. Borimex burrito is beyond delicous! Fajitas less outstanding but still good. Generous servings reasonably priced.

Best authentic Mexican Im aware of. We hit it regularly for their lunch specials. Cant beat them. Staff is friendly and courteous and the service is timely (save the rare Lunch rush, but what are you gonna do). Food always tastes fresh and oh so tasty.

We have been coming here for years (every vacation) I always enjoy the chicken quesadillas. It was packed. Service was a bit slow, because they were busy of course but other than that the staff is friendly and its always fun. Continued success.

No service. Waited 20 minutes. No water. No waiter. No menu. Never be back. When someone did actually come outside ( yes, the hostess desk new I was there), everyone but me was waited on. I was the second table out there. Poor, poor, service.

The Mexican cuisine here is very tasty. I especially like to come here at lunch with friends and have their Tacos El Pastor. Though the setting is not very fancy, it is authentic. The wait staff is friendly, and the prices are right.

Muy first time was last Saturday and the food was really good but why the name of borimex and dont have nothing in the menu from Puerto Rico I expect some mix food about it but wasnt like that!!!!! Anyway the food was delicious!!!!

Love this place, and so does everyone that I take there. Not much on the decor side, but the food is great and reasonable. BYOB. The 3 soft tacos for $5 is a great bargain, and hits the spot when I am finished with a bike ride.

Went there for take out on Saturday 7/15 & the food was delicious, but they forgot my order of carnitas tacos with the rest of the order. Didnt find this out until I was home. If not for that, Id give them 5 stars.

I moved to Lancaster County from California. And, as much good food as there is out here, authentic Mexican is hard to find...unless you go here! Best Mexican food Ive had in PA (and I tried a few places!)

Food was excellent. Staff was friendly. One of our party asked the waitress to being something spicy and it was great. Poorly lit on the outside and half the party drove by. But it was worth the hassle.

Awesome authentic Mexican food! (At least, I assume so...since Ive never been to Mexico. My wife is big on Mexican food, and she loves this place.) Plan to wait a bit on a Saturday night, but its worth it!

Besides having a nice selection of specialty import items, Borimex serves Mexican food that is excelente. Sit down in one of the booths, order some food, close your eyes, it feels almost like Mexico.

Although the food wasnt hot, it had a nice flavor. The trash and dirty cleaning supplies that accumulated around the side door and the lack of soap in the bathroom makes me question the sanitation.

They take to long, we got here 6:10 and we got our food at 7:35 people are getting annoyed because they get their food 1 hour later and the service is ridiculous so if I were you I wouldnt come

If you like Mexican food, this is the place to go. The steak chimichangas taste amazing and are obviously made with frresh ingredients. This is as good as it gets north of the Mexican border.
