I dont normally review chains since it doesnt really matter what a review says to a chain restaurant, but this meal deserves some feedback. I took my parents here the day before Mothers Day and was greeted, waited, and seated like normal. On the way to the table, the hostess said we were lucky because we had the best server in the restaurant, Eddie. When Eddie greeted us, we playfully warned him of the high expectations that were set. I hope the hostess was kidding, because Eddie was a total letdown. He spent his entire time flirting with a table next to us and barely paid any attention to us. It was clear what "tip" he was working on. What saved this meal was how friendly the rest of the staff was and the amazing bone-in ribeye I received. It could honestly have been the best steak Ive had at a restaurant for under $50. I would call it a perfect chain restaurant steak. Zero complaints from me on the steak -- and Im a steak snob. TL;DR - get the bone-in ribeye and avoid sitting in Eddies section.

Food was excellent! Server Joy was Superb. The part of my visit that was not so great was witnessing a server (Madie) stand at serving station within plain view playing with her long hair, sticking her fingers in her mouth and then setting the table behind me and scooping peanuts!! YUK... All without washing her hands even once. I spoke to a manager about it and was pleased to see that she asked her to put her hair completely up into a bun. That though was short lived as I went to the restroom with my handicap mother in law who was almost knocked down as Madie rushed into the bathroom to take her hair down (since she thought I was gone!!) at least she did wash her hands!!! The moral of my story is you never know who is watching you especially in a restaurant.

Last evening my wife and I had dinner at the Roadhouse. I ordered Sirloin/Shrimp Combo platter with Baked Potato and house salad, requested the steak med-well and sugar free ice tea. My wife had the Country Steak w/mashed potatoes and gravy and a salad and water. My steak was overly well done and tough but the shrimp was very good. The tea was so weak it tasted like water and was so transparent you could read through it. My wifes meal was very good she said. I told my waitress and she had our Bill adjusted because of the mistake. The service personal are very friendly and helpful, the noise level is extremely high, not a place for a quit family dinner. And dont order the Tea.

Had my birthday dinner at Roadhouse tonight, and it was great! I am thrilled to find a place that can make a tender and juicy medium-well steak. Our server, Westley, was awesome. My companions Portobello mushroom chicken was also very good and the fried pickles are my new favorite appetizer. Back at Texas Roadhouse in June. Jess, our waitress, is awesome. The steak is melt in my mouth tender

I definitely picked the wrong meal. The country fried sirloin was more breading than sirloin and much too salty. It was just okay, not to be ordered again. The salad was extremely bland. The rolls looked good, but I didnt have any. My Blue Moon was perfect. With so many great restaurants in Charlottesville, its highly unlikely that I will give this a second chance.

Food and service pretty good. 4 stars for that category. 0 stars for the volume of music. Have been there 4 times and each time is was so loud at timeswe couldnt hear each other. To make matters worse, they are constantly changing the volume of the music. So one minute you think FINALLY, then the next minute its louder than it was before.

Prime rib was disgusting. Caesar salad was bland. Chili is OK. The cactus flower or whatever its called was less than expected. Outback has them beat by so many metrics and I dont care for Outback. My daughters apple sauce was the only thing on the table that tasted good. Staff was friendly.

We love Texas Roadhouse but today we ordered beef kabobs. The flavor was great as usual but several pieces of meat... full of gristle and and not chewable. That was disappointing. The salads, delicious as well as the rolls. Our server was a credit to Texas Roadhouse. We will be back

Great service, fun atmosphere. Food was ok but way too salty. Thought the music was a little loud too for 5:00 on a Sunday. Had my two young children with me and the oldest (3 years) kept getting upset about the volume. Wasnt terrible but I dont think Ill be rushing back.

I could not get my steak cooked right. Medium rare came out medium. Sent it back and it came out raw, yes raw. Maybe the cook who was working that night didnt like it that I sent the steak back, but management should have a better handle on the quality of the food.

Steaks are decent quality......if they just knew how to cook them. Ordered steak cooked medium. Sent back two rare steaks so far. Hope third times the charm! I give up, going with the catfish. Steak #3 was close to burnt to a crisp. Dont order the steak!

The waiter was amazing! She was extremely friendly and attentive but, the food was pretty bad we ordered 3 burgers and they were all extremely salty. It was poorly cooked and once again REALLY salty. Will not be returning.
