Great example of a classic American diner-style restaurant! Clean, well-lit with plenty of seating and ample parking. Friendly and helpful service which was quick even though they were very busy serving Sunday breakfast and lunch customers. Food was great... served quickly and cooked accurately - the Eggs Benedict is a showpiece in itself, with house-made Hollandaise and crispy seasoned home fries, what a delight! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served with daily specials always available. If youre looking for home-style cooking in the Batavia area, do yourself a favor and skip the chain Restaurants and give Settlers a try... you wont be sorry you did!

After a week of burgers and fries in upstate NY, we happened into Settlers and enjoyed as near home cooking as possible. Fish was huge and outstanding as was the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes. Salad was a full salad plate and fresh. Everyone in the family loved and I wish we had a place like it near us in Michigan. 4 piece Chicken Dinner was $7.99 and fish dinner was $5.99. Obviously this place has changed for the better recently. It was packed on Friday night at 6:30. Id go there again in a minute.

The food here is not great but its not bad as far as taste goes. However, when my family ate here out of 5 of us 3 of us were sick shortly after. I would assume this is because of the salad person probably not washing their hands as the three of us that got sick all had salad and the other 2 of us did not! If they cant respect their customers enough to wash their hands then we dont respect them enough to give them any more business!

Our visit to Settlers Restaurant was excellent. There were so many items on the menu to choose from! I had liver & onions with pizza soup ( which was outstanding) & a generous side of home made potato salad. For dessert I had a cheesecake with graham cracker crust & pecan caramel topping. Heavenly! Prices are VERY reasonable! Wish I lived in Batavia....I would become a regular customer. There is so much on the menu to explore!

I was excited at the thought of a family owned dinner with wholesome American food. I became exuberantly enticed when I saw a full page of Mac and cheese options. I ordered the all-American Mac and cheese!!! MERICA!! it was very tasty and a hardy portions, the only downside was the temperature of the serving was warm at best. would recommend and will join the settler family again in the future.

Went in got seated right away. Less than 10 tables total were seated at the time 3 waitresses were working and we didnt even get water. After 10 minutes of not even one waitress saying hello to us I decided to leave and go elsewhere. I have never been ignored like that at a place that wasnt busy..... never going back!

they have no clue as to what a true beef on weck is..fish was greasy and tasted like chlorine, small drinks never ask if we wanted more, had to ask for our check from the cashier, waitress to busy to be bothered with us...over priced for what we were served.

OMG! Here you will find the best comfort food! Ordered the seafood Mac n cheese, also the stacked roast beef, finished it off with a piece of ice cream sundae cheesecake! Walked out stuffed, and happy. Totally reasonable prices!!

I love this restaurant and eat here often. The food is awesome as well as the service. it always amazes me how fast they are! Perfect place to go for a quick breakfast or when your strapped for time on your lunch break!

Thanks to Yelp we found a family owned restaurant for breakfast, less than 5 miles off New York Thruway. The egg omelet with all fresh ingredients was delicious. Efficient and pleasant wait staff. Would highly recommend!

Settlers is awesome! Great food at great prices. The best breakfast in Batavia. Last two times Ive been there Ive had chicken fried steak & eggs and corn beef hash Benedict. Delicious and delicious. Cant wait to go back.

The food there wasnt the best, but its not a restaurant-restaurant. Its more like a burger-hotdog kind or restaurant. Usually 8.99 for one burger. The burgers are big though-
