visited in December on a Tuesday or Wednesday. There was a big party there at the same time, but our service was better than some of the larger established restaurants. Its a newly opened business and I hope will do well. The food was cooked fresh to order and tasty. I had the Seafood Platter and the portions was plenty. I would like to address the previous comment about service was slow. Given the food is cooked fresh to order, it will take more time than that of an establishment whose food is pre-prepared and placed in an over-sized heating unit. Like the previous patron, I too met the owners and they were genuine and friendly. It was so refreshing to be approached by the owner who wanted to know what our experience had been. He was open to ideas and truly appreciated our feedback. I TOO will frequent Main Catch Bar & Grill. I think they need to do more advertising. Restaurant is in a quiet area on a main road, but not a lot of activity after dark. Please support this business. We need more places servicing Suffolk, Smithfield & Carrollton areas. We should not have to drive all the way to Norfolk, Chesapeak, VA Beach or Newport News/Hampton to dine.

Very disappointed. Slow service with very few customers in the place. Fish was small, tough, and mostly the dark fishy part of the meat. Fries were ok. They never brought my cole slaw so when I asked they went to get it, came back a while later and said they were out. So I ordered mac and cheese instead. It finally came out after I was finished eating. The dish or was in was hot however the center still cold. My wife had grits that were also in a hot dish but very cold in the middle. Perhaps we came on a bad night but we will not be back.

Wife and I tried it out last night. We were the only ones in the dining room. The food was very good. I ordered their burger without bacon, and a cup of the crab soup. Wife ordered a seafood platter and split it with her sister. All the food was fresh and tasty. I normally dont care for crab soup, but loved theirs. We will be back. It is worth a visit!

Its refreshing to have a new place in the Carrollton area. My visit was a great experience. I also met the owners. We shared conversations, I took in a couple of cosmos and a delicious crab soup coupled with wings. Im definitely a customer for life! Please take your time and enjoy your visit. You will not be disappointed after visit.

Best surf and turf my wife (from Florida) and myself ever had, tasty steak and the shrimp was deveined and Devine. The she crab soup was off the hook as well. My only 2 complaints are that the meal had to end and the bar wasnt opened yet :( very friendly staff. Brianna did a good job!

Probably the worst customer service Ive experienced in all the years of me eating out!!! It took an hour for my wife and I to receive our food, by that time my wife was annoyed and ready to go! Over priced and inexperienced management!

The portions are VERY generous and the quality is superb. The clam chowder is the bomb! The pasta was excellent and the ceasar was well seasoned and they did not skimp on the dressing and cheese.
