If I could get them less stars I would. They dont pay any attention to events happening in the area. March 8th was the Guns vs Hoses hockey game to later be followed by a Norfolk Admirals game. A lot of the fans left the Scope and walked there for dinner between the games. There was 6 in my party... 10 mins to take drink orders... another 10 to get the drinks... 50 mins after food was ordered it still was not at the table. Waitress had not been back to even refill our drinks. I called her over to our table and asked how much longer for the food and that if it was going to be more then 5 minutes I wanted to cancel my order. She went back to the kitchen and shortly after started bringing our food out. Incomplete order on 1... 2 $20 bacon encrusted new york strips... 1 came out without bacon and with wrong sides... the other came out cold with wrong sides... when sides were corrected they were cold too... cancel that order. When we told her we wanted our bills (3 checks for the 6 of us) she said ok. 10 mins later she comes back with a printed receipt asking who had what... WOW... then she leaves... takes bills to other tables.. picks them up.. cashes them out and returns them then another waitress visited our table and asked if everything was ok... I very pleasantly let her have it about what we were waiting for and how poor everything had been. No doubt in my mind she regretted asking but all she said is well your waitress will be back in a couple of minutes. Thanks for one of the worst visits I have had anywhere I have been for food. Ohh and to boot... missed the first 5 minutes of the game... I hope they dont wonder why I am writing this... not returning and why the waitress received NO TIP!!!!

Angela was a very relaxed bartender, really loved her service. Did everything speedy. Didnt really talk much (which is good because I like to just enjoy the atmosphere as far as bars). Pizza, burger, wow. Speechless. I have never had a medium rare burger cooked so perfectly. Just wow. I need to come back for another one. The view able selection of liquor is not bad. But they have a lot more in a glass case behind bar. Dont really understand why, but big selection so I do love it. A lot of beer taps. Most of them being local. And for you Diet Clidesdale Piss Drinkers (Bud Light) like me, they have it on tap. Hell yeah!!! Great specials, almost too many damn tvs lol and love the broncos flag next to alcohol. Definitely coming back. *Side note* If you walked into a grocery store and got mad because they didnt give you immediate service (the second you walked through the door), and started cussing someone out or left a really negative review about it, do you think people are going to let you back in? Then why do it at any bar. They still need to provide customer service, they need to make you feel better to get good money, but if your going to be a *AHEM* dont expect anyone to be happy when you get mad at them, for being busy or taking care of someone else first. Sorry the world doesnt revolve around you... And getting the orders wrong, *whattheworld* happens and if you look at any restaurant ever, every single one of them have that same review. Sorry you cant grasp that *heyo* happens....

A.J. Gators Downtown Norfolk a bartender leaves the bathroom stall without washing her hands holding a glass of "liquid". She whispers to the other bartender and they giggle amongst themselves. A man walks in and orders a drink. She says, "Drink this glass of water, then Ill serve you a drink". He drinks and says, "This water tastes funny." The bartenders laugh. He looks puzzled. She says, "He must be drunk." The other bartender with herpes on her lip says, "Okay I got this one." I follow her to the ladies room. All the stalls are taken so she sets an empty glass on the floor and squats and flips up her skirt. She pees in it. She doesnt wash her hands. She returns to the bar and notices the man is still there. She tells him, "Before I can serve you any alcohol you will have to drink this glass of water." So he drinks it. And this time everyone around the bar is laughing. She tells him, "You must be drunk." He says, "No I am not!...Can I have my drink now!" Meanwhile another man walks in who looks like that fellow and says to him, "You look like me. You should know that I walked out without paying for my drinks." "Oops!" said the bartenders, "We got the wrong guy." They take the money from the real drunk.

Waited 20 minutes in the bar area, we were never acknowledged by a server or the bar tender. We were finally greeted by the busser girl and asked if we had been helped. Said no, and asked to talk to the manager. She left and then came back and handed us menus and then left again. Waited 5 more minutes then we eventually walked out. During our time sitting at the high top, we watched 1 couple getbthere drinks and then leave wothout paying, while waiting on their server. And 4 other groups walk out. They had a sign up at the door that said to seat yourself. As we were leaving the bartender was yelling over the bar to customers to go find a table. We have eaten here a few times before hockey games. The service has always been ok, but after this experience we will never come back.

This restaurant WAS THE WORST!!! Darlene was the BEST at doing the best she could to assist us. I attended around 9pm tonight there was maybe 3/4 (2guest per table) other guests. We had a party of 8 we didnt all order at once. We had 4 meals sent back for half way cooked food, 2 burgers were supposed to be well done and they were medium rare. 2 orders of chicken werent cooked hard as requested, it took over a hour to receive all the food back to everyone. When asked for the manager we were told they had to find him in the mean time 2 managers were aware of our situation, and was told one was discounting tickets. When one of the guests went to find the manager he came out and his excuse was he was taking out the trash. Needless to say 3hrs wasted on

I cant begin to even tell you how unprofessional our waiter was. Aside from the lack of any sort of waiting experience, the moment when you start telling your customers "you have money in the house" and then completey forget half the order, and actually had another waiter bring the food, you arent going to recieve any money from me, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Had I had cash I would have tipped the other waiter. It was an embarrissing situation, especially after talking up this particular resturaunt. Never eating here again. Only reason I didnt talk to a manager was because myself and the other two people I was with wanted to get the hell out.

Three of us were staying at the Tazewell Hotel across the street to see a show at The Norva this past weekend. Afterwards we wanted drinks and so we stopped in for drinks and appetizers. We got carded on the way in and the security guy was very nice. He even stopped to chat with us inside too. The waitress was very nice and attentive, never had an empty glass. Only suggestion would be to maybe turn the 90s music down a little. It was so loud I couldnt hear anyone talk until I moved. Very nice place for a late night drink though!.
