Service was good, good waitress, the food came promptly but quality of the food isnt good. Appetizer: crab dip --more cheese, and half cooked corn...no crab, if it was there, I didnt taste it, also very salty. Considering Maryland is famous for good crab dips...this one failed. I had to finish it since it cost more than 10 bucks. We ordered Fried Chicken Sunday 2 orders: Fried Chicken was thick with batter and very salty. The chicken meat had no taste. The collard greens was very sweet, tasted more brown sugar and malty in the mouth, the cornbread was very dry and lacked taste. Fish and Chips: The whole thing smelled very fishy and greasy. The fish was thick with batter and the fish was chewy. The hush puppies were dark brown due to overfrying...when tasted, it was very salty, greasy and burnt batter. The fries tasted like fish. Yes, the service was good...considering it was Sunday and they were not busy. But food quality...bad. All 3 dishes we ordered werent worth the money they asked for. $15 for each plate..not worth it. I feel that we wasted 70 bucks worth of food and we did take the food home since we couldnt consume due to the quality and taste, maybe I could salvage something from the 70 bucks I just wasted. 2 stars for the good service, 0 star for the food...bad all around, and when we went home, we all got stomache aches.

First off, the atmosphere is very nice and clean. It looks like an upscale sports bar. Waitresses are very helpful and nice. 4 stars. Ordered a Manhattan and a strawberry Margarita. Manhattan wasnt made correctly and both drinks were way too strong. Ordered the crab dip which was mostly cheese and corn not a lot of crab considering the price. Was served with fried green tomatoes which werent fully cooked and very greasy. We ordered the Tagliatelle which was very odd. It was noodles with butternut squash, tomatoes, brown sugar, etc. Way over seasoned to the point of not being able to eat it. My mother ordered the Half Chicken Sunday Special. It came with 4 pieces of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, collard greens, corn bread and a salad. The fried chicken was SO greasy; mashed potatoes were overly fatty; collard greens were really tough; and corn bread was like sand. Also the manager made us feel really uncomfortable asking us tons of questions about the food and telling us his whole life story. My final thoughts...for $75 the food was completely inedible and the menu is all over the place. Definitely would not recommend!

Dec 28, 2016 - Waited 15 minutes for a table although restaurant was half empty. Several patrons in the waiting area left in frustration. Advised by maitre-d that there was a problem in the kitchen and service would be slow. Waited 25 minutes for dinner. Soup was cold, wrong salad was served, and serving of pasta was smaller than a half size. Womens restroom not usable because 2 stalls out of issue while third one was occupied. Staff was friendly, polite, and tried their best but could not compensate for incompetent management. Just a summary of our experience. Readers can draw their own conclusions.

The waitress was very nice but her first words after pleasantly greeting us was telling us they were out of a lot of things. No tavern burgers! How can a tablet run out of Tavern burgers was my question and she said they didnt have anymore hamburger patties. I wanted to respond Martins across the street but I did not. Then for breakfast they didnt have any eggs benedict because they were out of English muffins again Martins is across the street. As my 93 year old dad says, thats my first and last trip. Husband says beer was good and fairly priced.

One star, because negative stars are not an option. The waiter over sold everything on the menu and then spent all of his time entertaining another bartenders customers. The crab dip was almost completely melted cheese and garlic. The roasted chicken was riddled with tiny bone shards from chopping it through the bone instead of the joints. After the check was finally delivered, we waited for at least fifteen minutes for payment to be picked up from the table. Thank goodness for the TV and the football game.

I was not a fan. Menu selections were not to my taste and the service was slow for the place being mostly empty. We visited shortly after they opened, and there was no soap in the mens room. Our fired appetizer came as a clump, the fried fish breading was not done on the inside and our waters were empty more than they were full. I had a ruben burger, and expected sauerkraut on it, but was not the case. We loved family meal, it was perfect, the new menu did not do anything for me.

Right when you walked in, hostess didnt seem much like she wanted to be there but once we approached her she seemed to pick up a bit. Service was quick, beer list was decent. Food was good and came in a timely fashion. We got the eggplant fries for an appetizer and they were very good. Overall we had a good time. Not very busy on a Tuesday night. However we did hear the table next to us comment on cold food and wrong orders. I would probably go here again but your mileage may vary.

Not sure why this place was not jam packed on a Friday night. The food was great, the service was great. Not sure what other people ate who gave a bad review but the crab soup, ribeye steak, and everything else including the 2 deserts we took home were amazing. To eat at this place and say all the food was bad only means youre prob used to eating fast food so next time save your money and go enjoy something off the dollar menu. We will be going back!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were so thrilled after a long day on the road to relax in a modern clean atmospheric restaurant. Being a self-proclaimed foodie from Boulder Colorado it was great to close my eyes with the first bites and really enjoy some awesome preparations from a real chefs creations. We read some poor reviews and thought - "are you kidding me???" The Stone Wall is a welcome awesome relief from a desert of manufactured barely digestibles.

The service from our waitress was good, but the food did not look appetizing nor was it served at the proper temperature. The chicken was cold as was the sweet potato hash that was served with the Atlantic salmon. The manager blamed the cold food on the fact that their computer system for placing orders and processing credit cards was down. His explanation did not make sense and we will not be returning!

Had a very nice lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Food was delightful, decor and ambiance was very pleasant. Only complaint was a slow kitchen. The food was reasonably priced for the quality and flavor, and its nice to have another more grown up restaurant in this section of Hagerstown. Definitely recommended, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Tried to go there on a Friday night. Was told it was a 25 minute wait. As I looked around I could clearly see 5-6 empty tables. The tables were cleaned off and set as well. Very frustrating being told we would need to wait when there was more then enough tables available. We left.

was very good service was friendly and efficient. Loved the atmosphere. The kitchen made two mistakes - burger very undercooked on one side, and was served cheesy grits cauliflower instead of shells and cheese. Both issues resolved kindly and quickly. Would recommend!
