DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!! I went there yesterday; April 22, 2017 as a date night with my fiance to find cockroaches crawling on the wall and a green worm trying to crawl out of our octopus sashimi minutes after receiving our boat. My fiance and I love sushi and sashimi and have never had a problem eating anywhere. I had just ate an octopus sashimi when my fiance notice that there is a green worm moving its body outside of our sashimi. We quickly told the waitress. She quickly grab the sashimi off the boat and rushed into the back kitchen before we could take a photo of it. We spoke to the Sushi Chef and all he could say was "I must have not wash that one". My fiance and I stop eating of course. We asked for the owners phone number and the full business name because we were worried about getting sick. The owner (Ms. Jun) is what they wrote down. We called her when we went outside into the car. She spoke in Korean with my fiance and all she said was "Sorry, we will try better". We were disgusted!!!! How about you clean your restaurant and serve food that are properly prepared. We then got home 10 minutes later to find ourselves throwing up and feeling nauseous. Our date night ended up in the hospital. We will be filing a health hazard report. This morning we looked up the business entity on the Virginia State Commission Corporation and the business status is currently terminated. Would not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant.

Ive been here a few times with my parents who love, love, love seafood. Each time weve gone, weve had their specials. Their style of service is continual, and the food comes out in a steady stream. Before coming here, I had never seen that so it was an interesting twist. I dont think they quite figured out the best way to clear dishes, but other than that, weve had good experiences. Pluses: - Great customer service - Delicious, fresh seafood Minuses: - If youre not a huge seafood person, this place isnt your joint - Other than the seafood, everything else was just okay - Parking is tight in their shared lot

I stopped in to Jang uh Si Kwang uh Dong on a whim and I walked away pretty happy overall. There was a pretty big language barrier - when we asked what came in a "lunch box" our server pointed to a table sign that was in Korean (and I dont read or speak Korean) - so we took a chance and just ordered. We were rewarded with a huge quantity of food with a great amount of variety. I left pretty full and very happy with the experience. Some day Ill have to get back to try some of their Korean BBQ.

Not sure what exactly to pinpoint as bad, because everything was quite honestly subpar. Even for a Korean restaurant the service was horrendous and rude. The spicy soup in particular was awful and bitter. Sushi tasted like water. Chirashi sucked by default. The only good thing I have to say is that the banchans were good, especially the marinated raw crab.

3.5 stars. The sashimi was pretty good. We ordered the large special but wasnt filled. 3 adults and 2 kids devoured it with ease. Also, the mens bathroom did not have a knob...

Love the food, great service. Its a seafood restaurant, so even though BBQ is on the menu, I highly recommend sticking with the seafood dishes
