The first time- liked it, second time- okay, this time- disliked it. When you eat there the chips are good, but the salsa is really watery, hard to scoop. It was still okay and the meal was okay too. Second time I carried out. The mussels tasted good and the portions were nice. The lomo saltado was a bit watery and needed more picante. The third time was ridiculous. I carried out. The mussels was very small portioned and what was in there was mainly closed, empty, and not good quality. There were about 6 quality mussels in a $7 dish. It was worth $3, if that. The lomo saltado was watery and hardly had steak. It seemed they were either running out of protein or were just skimping the dishes. They also forgot the side of black beans. It was not work $15, more like $6. The waiter also did not seem to be in a good mood. I paid $24 for what should have been no more than $10. Obviously, this place lacks consistency and quality control. Its hit or miss. If I eat here again I will re-post.

We stopped here for an early dinner at around 5:00 on a Saturday and were just about the only people in the place. The food was good. The enchiladas were tasty, as was the crispy beef taco I had. They use pulled beef instead of ground beef like many other restaurants. My wife had the fish tacos which she said she enjoyed. My only nit to pick is that the queso was not as thick as I prefer. Other than that, the food was good and service was friendly. One thing I found interesting was that their menu has many more seafood options than most tex-mex places. In fact, Id estimate that a majority of their entrees are seafood.

Very good. Food quality is great, service is good, its not super crowded. Parking could be better. Okay prices are interesting here - you could spend $50 a head if you are not careful, but I like restaurants where those who want to spend more can, and those who dont could eat for 10-15 bucks too and not leave feeling hungry. That way, everyone can go, and nobody is embarrassed into ordering water, and nobody walks away dissatisfied.

Great service, tasty food! The waiters were really great and attentive. It would have been even better if they had drink specials to go with the yummy food. If you like tex-mex, you cant go wrong here. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, a bit pricey, but worth the experience if you are in the area and looking for tex-mex with great and fast service.

Sad to see, eaten there a few times. Good food so far north. Just raised menu prices, refused to offer any smaller portions of menu items. Online prices are lower than actual prices. Didnt offer to fix. Also unless u speak spanish you might have some issues making a to go order over the phone. Guess gringos not welcome..

The place was small and not really decorated. The service was nice and prompt. The food was average, nothing to major to write home to. The prices was reasonable for what they give. Overall not a bad place to get a bite but wouldnt make it a regular place to go. 6/10

I am constantly unimpressed by the food at Plaza Azteca. Compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area, the quality and taste of the food is no good to me. Service is average, prices seem high but are relatively average. Your results may vary.

Plaza Azteca is our easy go-to place for a relaxed family meal in a friendly setting. The food and the service are consistently good. Margaritas are large and quite satisfying. We have gone there many times and have always enjoyed our meal.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Delicious and fresh food, excellent customer service, and beautiful place. I get food to go here a lot too. Very reasonable price and plenty of parking available. Highly recommend!

Tex-Mex comfort food in a small, crowded dining room in a down-at-heel strip mall behind a Home Depot. It doesnt sound promising, but the staff are pleasant and attentive and the food is decent.

Great food. Nachos are excellent and the steak is very tasty. I would compare it to a rio grande or something like that. A+ and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
