Breeze and Shillas are about the same for me. Breeze has the general baked goods, desserts, cakes, bingsoos, and drinks like Shillas does. They have less baked goods than Shillas and therefore less samples. Cakes are decent. As I mentioned in my Shillas review, I like Asian cakes (mousse/chiffon/sponge/cream cakes with fruit toppers) more than American cakes with their overly artificial flavors. Asian cakes are much lighter. Breeze has a selection of various chiffon and sponge cakes. Cakes are light and rich in flavor. I once bought a berry yogurt cake for my dads birthday here and despite the name, the cake tasted really good. Not overly sweet, fresh fruits on top, and you can tell they didnt skimp on using fresh ingredients. Bingsoos are good here too. They also have a solid assortment of bingsoos. I like how the bingsoos come in cute, interesting bowls. And I think you get more yogurt in the yogurt bingsoo here than you do at Shillas. Actually, I feel that you get more ingredients overall in the bingsoos here than Shillas but Im not certain. Theres more seating here than Shillas. Theres a second level as well as a patio thats perfect for warmer days. Interior is somewhat cuter than that of Shillas; decorations are nicer. Parking is just as bad though and sometimes even worse, as Breeze is right next to Yechon. Plus, you cant park where the laundromat or 7-11 are and you cant park across the street in the business lot (well you can, but you may get towed). Theres limited street parking. 3.5 stars. It stays open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, a plus.

I tried Breeze because I wanted my bubble tea fix. Not only is it close to my place, but it happens to have delicious bubble tea (I always get the green tea flavor) in addition to the various pastries that are consistently fresh, organized and varied. The interior is very comfortable, stylish, and immaculate. The buzzers they hand out at the register when you order something behind the line is very nice. You feel like you can have a second to check your messages without missing your drink sitting on the counter or someone else getting theirs confused with yours. The cakes and things behind the glass are pretty much perfect. I recently bought a birthday cake, the fresh cream green tea cake. It was hands down the best cake Ive ever had. Thanks Breeze!

I was ready to try something new and had pasted by Breeze a few times. Great atmosphere and decor, but I had a problem with the service. I had a simple request to alter my sandwich and it came out wrong. When I asked for a new one, I was aggressively approached by kitchen staff and the cashier. All three retreated to the kitchen to "fix the problem", they stood there looking back at me and removing items from my sandwich to promptly shove it back in my hands. The same sandwich minus the ingredient I didnt want. At this point I refused to even touch the sandwich, afraid of spit or other body fluids from three disgusted workers. Thanks a bunch for taking my money! Stay away from this place.

Rude RUDE staff, so unpleasant makes you wanna turn around and leave. Which I did one time. L--o---n---g line, should change something to avoid ridiculously long line. And its not b/c they have lots and lots of costumer. It just means theyre not running cash register area very wisely. Pricey!!! Their pastry doesnt deserve the price tag they put on. Havent gone back and not planning to ever... At Shilla bakery, you get to taste and say, emm, Ill buy this, Ill buy that, Ill buy this one too... sometimes theyll tell you to wait since fresh batch is coming out in a few minutes. Now, thats a service!

This is such a cute bakery with tons of cakes and pastries. It has a lot of seatings (a second floor) and I was only able to get a piece of chocolate cake because I just had dinner at Yechon next door and was stuffed. It was crowded when I visited and everything everyone walks off at the counter looked amazingly delicious. They take a lot of consideration on their physical appearance of their desserts, especially the little pastries. Everything looks so delicate and my chocolate moose was delicious. I would definitely come back again to try more of what they have to offer!

Great place to stop by for dessert. Cakes, pastries, drinks are all great here. The seating downstairs is usually packed, but youll find seating upstairs. Place is great for families and theres wifi! Parking can be tough, but youll find a spot quickly. I ordered there Taro milk tea. Big fan they dont skimp on the tapioca balls and the drink itself tasted fresh and not powdered. I ordered the animal cupcake. Yes its a large portion, but I dont think the price of 8.50 justifies it. I need to eat less for dinner and save room for their Bingso next time.

“A lovely place for a coffee gathering with friends, or for a night snack on your own. The quaint, clean and tasteful environment ensures one will feel comfortable while enjoying some truly great pastries, or maybe a gelato, either indoors or at the beautiful terrace. The staff is very welcoming and attentive, making sure you have everything you need. The only downside is the prices being a bit on the high side, and some lack in options for the likes of vegans, or lactose-intolerant people..”

If you want to feel like you are back in Korea, this is the place for you. I love thebulgogi quesadillas and the ice cream here! Its a very cute asian style backery/ cafe. The food is great here. The ice cream has that typical Korean taste to the ice cream flavors, I dont want to sound mean but they have an artifical taste to them, but its soo good! The strawberry and mango are my favorite ice creams! They have a lot of Korean products so if you want anything korean this is a good place!

The bread here isnt the best. It is a pretty busy bakery/cafe Gets really busy during the holidays when everyone is back from college. Also located next to Yechon which is owned by the same people. In inside is nicely decorated and well-kept. The staff tries to keep this place clean. There is an outdoor seating on the second floor of this building. I think they close it during the winter for obvious reasons. Its a good place to come with a group and hang out. Not the most quiet place.

One word: Bingsoo. Any of their options is a good choice. Breeze is the typical Korean cafe with different pastries, desserts, and drinks. The coffee is pretty good too. The cakes are light and the right amount of sweet. Definitely my go-to bakery in Annandale. Something that differs Breeze and Shilla is that it has free wi-fi! Always a nice plus.

Love their colorful selection of pastries and desserts. The bakery is also a cozy cafe that serves authentic Korean sweets and treats. I am personally a fan of the taro bubble tea and the sweet potato latte for cold winter days. This is definitely a place to visit in NoVA Korea town. I love coming here after a savory dinner at Yechon.

This morning I attended this place that I love and received a very despotic and rude treatment from a person of the staff telling me that I could not alter the menu for extra mayonnaise to my sandwich? The person was very rude and sharp when I think they are due to all consumers and should be kind and happy to their customers
