The food and ambiance is great. The wait times are ridiculous. I live 2 minutes from the place so Ive been my fare share of times. I once went 3 times in a row and was told I couldnt order the standard menu item that I wanted (all 3 times) for various reasons.... once they ran out, another time it was a festival themed day, the third time they lost power (all in a row!). I recently placed a carry out order (which Ive done many times) and it took 28 minutes to get the food from the time my order was placed. I watched people who didnt order carry out come in behind me, order, get their hot food, and leave before I got mine. I was told "Its Saturday!" as in I should expect to wait 28 minutes every time. I know from experience that isnt (or at least hasnt been the case) over recent years, but you should consider it if youre not planning on dining in.

I generally love the Swiss Bakery. I stop by at least once a week due to its close proximity to work. However this experience was a little different. I waited in line like other patrons. When I got to the register, I asked the gentleman if they had any Museli left as there was none in this case. He stated that they should be able to make me some but first he had to go wait on another patron. I had been there prior to this patron. I literally stood there as he waited on several patrons, never once acknowledging me. Finally another team member walked up to me and asked what i needed because i had been patiently waiting. For that reason alone, I will continue to patronize the Swiss Bakery but this experience has surely put a sour taste in my mouth.

Having lived in Switzerland this place is fantastic! They have Cailler chocolate which is a great chocolate brand from the Fribourg region in Switzerland. The pastries are devious. Today I bought the raspberry chocolate truffle cake, the raspberry and chocolate is a perfect combination. I had the raclette here which was a great dish. Raclette cheese served over potatoes, it was delicious. The bratwurst is also a great option, $7 for a wurst and bread. There is great cheese, beer, wine, pastry, chocolate and wurst selection here. Also this is the best place to buy bread in the area, a bakery that sells great Swiss/German bread.

I had a delicious tarragon chicken salad. In the past my family and I have had their sausage sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches - all excellent. People are very nice. Beautiful pastries and cakes. Order at the counter and youll receive a number. Food is brought out to you but you must order at the counter. My only criticism is that the temperature inside is frequently too warm. Maybe a few ceiling fans would be a good fix?

We purchased a cake for my sons birthday cake (sheet size) very, very nicely decorated. Just beautiful. Unfortunately, it was very dry and the jelly/icing(?) that layered the cake was a tad too sweet. Overall, I was not very satisfied since we paid over $300 for a dry cake. Although we received many compliments on the look of the cake, we also ended up throwing a ton of half eaten cake. :-(

The breads, chocolates, pastries, and ice cream that I have tried are made there and were super. This is an upper-end bakery with pastry chefs who are talented. The shop has many authentic European imported treats hard to find locally. I have not tried the cafe yet, but it was very busy at lunch on a friday when I went last.

Very impressive themed bakery. Not only can you get exquisite pastries, but they have a grill for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can buy beer or wine to go, ice cream and there are about 15 tables. I think I found a new treat for my family. I am even sipping a fresh brewed cappuccino as I write this review.

This is a wonderful store. I think it was recently remodeled. The pastry look so wonderful, sad I cant have them. But this is my stop for German Coffee and Tea. I stock up for myself and a friend. Would recommend to anyone needing a taste German/Swiss/Austrian foods. (Sorry for the blurry photos)

After having worked nine months here I recently got the chance to return to order some breakfast. It was delicious and the employees are incredible and really know their stuff especially their manager who answered all my questions. I definantly recommend their Cheese Danish pastries!!!

amazing pastries, cakes, food, and coffee!!! love their service, friendliness, and easy going environment. not overpriced like some other bakeries in the town, and I love how they actually give food in the real plates and cups if you dine-in. I cant wait to go visit again.

This is my go-to place if I long for a quick European cafe moment. I usually go for a croissant and the bircher muesli. They also have fantastic bread selection and Swiss fare on their menu. Seasonally, theyll offer white asparagus and chestnut creme. I love this cafe!

Good food, average service, and dont expect to get any work done, because their internet does not work! I think thats the way they want it so that they can rotate people in and out, without having someone take up space for too long.......just my opinion.

Great Bread, but the Bakery really needs improvement in taking customers in sequence. // As for the noise on weekend mornings, thats caused by the seemingly oblivious customers who cannot speak at normal levels or keep their kids from running amuck.

A little Swiss bakery in Springfield, I enjoy their cookies as they are delicious! Purchase it by the bulk. The staff here are also very friendly, and they also carry other Swiss-made products and food. Ample amount of parking in this plaza lot.

I went there for soup one day for lunch and found the shop to be very clean and neat. The soup was delicious and the bread was perfect. Also, it wasnt very expensive. I got the soup, bread, and a drink for about $5.

Im a bakery aficionado. I love the charm of Swiss Bakery. Their pastries are pretty standard but I would definitely go for the pretzel rolls and their lunch offerings.

The food is good. Pastries are even better. They also have a small selection of Swiss/Bavarian groceries including cheese, sausages, desserts, beer and wine.

Excellent bakery, excellent cafe. They are currently expanding, so during construction seating is somewhat limited, but the food is well worth the line.

Great food for breakfast on a chilly Saturday in January. I got the egg biscuit with Gruyere and smoked bacon with a steamy cup of coffee and lived it.

If for nothing else, come here for the potato pancakes for breakfast. Thin bacon fat and swiss cheese melt together onto crispy fried edges of potato.

Such a beautiful bakery with a lovely assortment of bread, cookies, and cake. Really reminds me of the bakeries in Europe. Good coffee too.
