Whats not great about this place? Well...the fact that they dont do Espresso kinda saddens me...but everything else is amazing! The food is seasonal and constantly rotating. The draft beers rotate and you can get pretty decently priced growlers from there as well! They also rotate their coffee (drip) and man is it ever some well curated stuff. I miss the BBQ Chicken tho. It was made with a whole-seed mustard BBQ sauce and it was darn tasty! The patio is the best thing about this place. outside in a quiet subdivision area and the road traffic is not that frequent. Foot traffic outpaces the cars on any given day (sans 5pm weekdays). Dogs are always coming and going. Its just a great community spot. The shop is amazing as well. They are very knowledgeable about wine, but also about beer. They have a monthly newsletter they email out about the beer and constantly rotate the bottle selections on the wall. It might not be a huge selection but its well curated as well and they love to talk to you about it. Mostly, the people here. Theyre not staff, theyre neighbors. They are simply amazing and are always personable with you and you just feel the warmth of their smiles. Such an amazing place. I kind of want to work here part time on the weekends!

The market offerings and service are great here! Friendly staff inside knowledgeable about the coffee, beer and wine they sell. Great selection for such a small shop and they also offer food including milk, ice cream, etc. The restaurant side is whats holding this back from 4 or 5 stars for me. Service is friendly,, but pretty slow. The menu is interesting in concept, but lacks in execution and flavor.

Perfect neighborhood spot! Love walking, running or riding here with my wife. They also usually have Sunday Growler Fills for a discount that is good. The ambiance is nice and sitting outside is enjoyable dependent on the weather. I highly recommend this place, the only downfall is that you will realize the dent in your wallet when you get your bill.

Friendly staff. Fantastic variety of whatever you happen to be craving at the moment. Need wine? Its here. Need a craft beer? Yup. How about a great coffee? Sure. Need a well done cup of tea? You got it. Gourmet lunch or snack- No problem.. They just know what you need and they have it. And they do it very well. Bonus: Fido is welcome.

Wonderful little cafe! Christina (our server) was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even bringing us a little water bowl for our pup on the patio and little samples of different beers on tap when we couldnt decide which to order. The food was excellent and I cant wait to come back soon!!

Such a sweet little place. The mimosas are delicious, as is the coffee. Our servers were so well informed and recommended a lovely selection of cheeses. Dogs are allowed on the patio! They stock interesting wines, coffee, and food to go as well. Great gifts for the foodie in your life!

Great coffee and the Muscovy duck cheese steak is just as amazing. They made me the cheese steak during the breakfast hours and its on the dinner menu. Its a must stop in Alexandria.
