I love going to the Skunk to dance when there is a good band, or for open mic on Wednesdays. Arrive early because seating is very limited sometimes (I think they also take reservations). The food is very high quality, but priced that way, too. This place is like a hidden retreat for a diverse crowd - you see old and young, nascar and country club types, all mixing and dancing together. It looks like something a traveler in a Tolkein book would stumble into on their adventure. Those disinclined to tight spaces and/or crowds should sit upstairs to dine, but it feels cozy to me. Love it!

Great old tavern with mostly locally sourced food. Nice atmosphere and staff. Wednesday evening a serious but fun open mic night, Fridays always a band playing. Pretty much perfect.
