Id prefer no stars! I, along with about 100 people, went on a pub crawl a few weeks ago and one of our stops was The Public House and Pizza Chef. I was among the half that walked into the Public House. We were greeted outside, I believe, by the owner. He looked annoyed and told us, with no hello or welcome, to get our drinks and go outside. We were later than he expected and we were interrupting his dinner rush (of 3 tables)! He was rude, annoyed, and said something to that effect to at least half the people in our group! Jeeze..Im sorry that we chose to spend our money at your establishment and give you a $1000 profit in the hour we were planning on being there!! Well dont worry Public House!! Weve ALL decided that was the last time we would be treated with such rudeness as you showed us that day!! We are ALWAYS welcomed with open arms at the Pizza Chef! And that, dear sir, is where we will be spending our future and our money from now on! Its too bad...Im the owner of my own restaurant..and rule of thumb says...upset one customer..youve upset 10 because the average person tells 10 people when theyve had bad service! Well buddy youve upset at least 25 of us...so that means AT LEAST 250 are going to hear a bad review of The Public House!! Hope youre happy with yourself! Hey! Pizza Chef! See you soon and THANK YOU for the warm and welcoming hospitality as usual!!

We stopped here while visiting the area. I always look at reviews of a place first and it had good reviews so we stopped. I was very impressed, nice environment , we ate outside on the patio. Food was very quick to come out and was very good, portions were great and the prices werent bad at all.

We ended up in the hotel next door. We had been driving all day and were hungry. Great live music. Wife liked the wings and I had the Angry Burger. Every dish the waitress walked by with looked delicious. The local patrons were having a great time. If youre in the area its worth a try.

Most delicious steak tips on a bed of rice topped with a bit of tasty beefy gravy. It certainly was a party in my mouth and I must say I certainly did not regret not ordering my all time fav lobster mac-n-cheese. Do try this succulent dish and enjoy.

If you are looking for a sports bar spot in Quechee, you have found it! The food is decent, the wait staff OK and there is outdoor seating when the weather is warm with one or two backyard games available.

This place is a great addition to the area. Food has always been spot on. Decent beer selection. Outdoor seating with corn hole is awesome for the warmer days. Highly recommended.
