I will tell you, I went there about 2 weeks ago sat in the bar area with a few friends, had a male waiter with a "boy bun", and was pissed after him overcharging us!!! Tonight, we went back, started with the same little prick, before I asked to have a different server(waiter), so that the same problem would not happen, and that we could watch the game on TV!!!!! He responded that that was "rude" on my part and that I should move to a different section, not to take up one of "his tables"!!!!!! After this, I went to the front door area and asked for the manager!!!! After a few moments, the manager was there so I could explain to him what had happened!!! He said that he would take care of it!!! After returning to our table, an amazing, female waitress responded to our table!!! She provided to service that I can be very happy with!!!! After a while, I noticed that the "other tables" of "Mr. Boy Bun" were being served by someone else!!!! The manager came over to us to thank us for letting him know of the situation!!!! He said there were problems with him in the past, and after questioning the waiter, he confirmed everything that I had told the manager!!!! My thanks to our waitress for her great service!!!!!

Absolutely incompetent bartenders. Sat at the bar and was completely ignored. Tried to order our food and was told twice to please wait. Then they forgot to come back. The manager is standing there with his thumb up his ass while the obviously untrained employees struggle. Unlimited apps says meatballs. Order them and no plates. No silverware... and then had to ask 2 times for them. Then were told no, meatballs were not unlimited. Its 9:30 pm Tuesday 4/4/17 in case anyone at corporate actually reads this. 2 bartenders can not even handle 13 customers.

I ordered the New York cheddar Burger with chow chow on the side. I dipped my fork in the chow chow and there was a screw in the chow chow. If it wasnt for the waiter and the manager who was so apologetic. I would have warned everyone not to order the chow chow. I realize things happen but a "Screw". The general manager was told and he did not say a word or acknowledge what happened. Our food and screw was free. We did tip the waiter it wasnt his fault.

I used to love this restaurant till tonight, the bartender sucks , Brandon has a dirty mouth, my husband and I heard him complaining about every little thing around him, he was too busy complaining about everything, he made us wait like forever for our drinks, we never will come back again, I used to be a repeat customer but not after tonight, I loved to go when Brooke was bartending, she always gave me free drinks lol, its sad they caught her

Awful. I ordered steak with mushed potatoes and fries and loaded potatoes. The steak was burned so bad that I couldnt eat it - even the inside parts tasted burned. Loaded potatoes were old, probably from yesterday (it was 5pm!). Eventually the mushed potato was sour and spoiled. Yes the fries was ok. So I guess I paid $30 for a dozen of fries. I couldnt return it because it would take me like an hour to drive back there.

I love the food ,its actually my favorite restaurant. But when I walk in to dine with my family, I dont think that is necessary to be shouting to my family because the music its too laud. . I understand that it might be dj night, but keep it in the bar. .. I come here to enjoy a meal with my family.

The best TGI FRIDAYS in the area. The food is usually good (the Jack Daniels is sweet to taste). They are always introducing new specials; the current special is a bottomless appetizers for $10. The new green smoothie was tasty. The lighting is a bit gloomy and fit for a rainy day.

9 months ago i gave it one star because it was horrible place to visit, yesterday went with my daughter, and it got me change my review. i dont know if the manager been changed, but it was totally different. great service as well from the front door.

Absolutely worst TGIF i have been to service was horrific but the manger did come and make sure our orders were corrected but over all i would give the manger 5 sTars but my waiter 0 never going back to this location in central islip

Good place to come in and have a nice dinner. Staff is friendly and hardworking trying to find something to keep them busy. Food is great cant go wrong with a rack of ribs and some mash potatoes with a pile of tasty fries.

The evening atmosphere is great, nice mellow music playing, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly and courteous, stop by the bar and enjoy an ice cold beer or mix drink.
