Came here with my family to celebrate my sisters race. I was sketchy of the choice to go here, but majority voted it. It was as I expected. Overcrowded with the type of people you dont want to be sharing a buffet with. Too many children around the food unattended. (Do Parents not realize that sneeze guards dont work with children?) the Asian food section didnt really have Asian food. (Mac and Cheese is not Asian. and yes there was an unattended child scooping an entire plates worth from it) Salad wasnt fresh and starting to go. Strawberries were getting old. lesser used dressings were developing top crusts. Unless you were willing to wait a long time to get piles of meat at the grill like the majority of all the other adults or one of the countless battered and deep fried options...most of the food looked unappetizingly exposed. Not to mentioned unlabeled. Spills happened constantly around children. Im sure I accidentally stepped in gravy and or butter more than once. Some of them are dangerously slippery and a major liability. I avoided desert since the chocolate fountain attracted to many children. Id say Staff needs to be paid more having to deal with these types of customers. There needs to be more people on the floor watching for health and safety hazards. If there are any rules for customers (even common sense ones) they should be displayed loudly, All over the place, And customers should be held accountable for breaking them. I had stomach problems for the next week.

One of worst restaurant experiences Ive ever had. When I went in almost every single customer was an obese or morbidly obese american. This creepy obese trucker guy was sitting all the way in the back by himself staring very awkwardly at everyone who tried to sit on the ENTIRE row in front of him so the entire row was empty, Im not lying. I went and sat at the front facing the food stands and I honestly had this morbidly obese black guy staring at me the entire time and coughing. I also had these 2 mexican waitresses genuinely trolling me the whole time, every time I got up to get food or use the restroom (when you use their restroom itll be tiny and crowded) they would make my chair and table as wet as possible and steal my food so I would have to grab a ****load of napkins and clean up the mess they put on my seating area, I went through hell trying to find out where to get water but was told the waitresses have to get it for you, they never asked me if I wanted water, the 2 mexican waitresses would come up and get pissed at me for not wanting to give them my food that I was still eating. I wont be coming back, I can deal with the weirdos but customer service is the most important thing a restaurant can have, sure the food is amazing but its inexcusable when the waitresses are genuinely trolling you your entire stay, they should keep their pitiful lives to themselves.

This "buffet" if you even want to call it that as opposed to a landfill or a dump was absolutely the most disgusting place that i have ever stepped foot into, first off whoever runs this place decided it was a good idea to just have raw meat sitting out in the open in dirty plastic bins just waiting for any of the nasty ants and other types of bugs that were crawling around on the repulsive floors that were covered with nasty old food that nobody bothered to pick up to just crawl right on and infect it with whatever vurus or bacteria they might have. this is not only a huge unnecessary health risk but also a mix of bad management and lazy staff. My second point is that the people who were making the food were not wearing any shape or form of protection wether it be a hairnet or even gloves from getting their dirty hands and the germs left on them from whatever they were doing beforehand, or their hair falling into the food they were making and infecting the food that they were handling with again whatever disease or pathogen they might have. In my opinion this is the worst place to eat in the entire planet. I would rather starve than eat here again. If there was a lower option to rate this buffet, I would press it one hundred times.

I want to leave 0 stars. But Google wont let me. I dont have high standards when it comes to food, but.... Avoid this place if you prefer to not become ill. They were disgusting, no clean surface to be seen, the floors were either, slippery, gooey, sticky, or all of the above. The food should be avoided, they wouldnt feed this quality of food to inmates. No silverware, and if you find a solitary fork it will not be clean. None of the bowls, of plates are clean. Peeking back into the employee only area only reveals that its even more filth that cant be seen by the regular customer. I dont know how they havent been shut down. The food doesnt even taste right, along with the meat products being undercooked and disgusting. All of my friends including myself felt Ill within minutes of leaving. Bringing any of this to the attention of the staff is no good. They say "I will alert the cooks immediately. " walk off towards the back, count to 2 Mississippia and is back out giving inadequate service. Eating slop off the floor of the Mcdonalds parking lot would be more hygienic and healthy than this.

Das Lokal ist sauber bietet tolles Essen zum besten Preis und kann nur noch durch etwas mehr Sauberkeit getoppt werden, obwohl es für amerikanische Verhältnisse schon sehr sauber ist. Klasse Service und Steaks genau auf den Punkt. Auch alle anderen Gerichte sind bei diesem Buffet nur zu empfehlen.

If you ever want to see where out society is heading come to Golden Corral on a Friday evening. Its not a pretty sight. People who should not being eating at a buffet run rampant. Its a human version of a zoo at feeding time. I love it! But than again I love places that give you a great people watching experience. The food is bland, over salted and heated by the heat lamp too long. The floors are sticky with soda and an obstacle course to navigate all the fallen food and unsupervised kids. If life ever gets you down, come here... youll feel better knowing you have control.

I for one, I am quite familiar with this franchise, not just with this location in Salt Lake City area, but also with other locations all over US. Friendly staff, good food selection, relatively fresh made and they pay attention to maintain the plates and tables clean - however I think its a bit overpriced, as prices have increased, while our salaries as patrons, or I assume even the salaries of their own employees have not increased at the same rate - so considering the price vs. value ratio is not fully worth it, except maybe once in a while

I really dislike how many buffet places have switched to forcing you to get your drink at the register, then an employee constantly comes to the table to ask if you need another drink and if tho he are "OK".. In my opinion this is a cheap way to get a tip. Let me get my own drink, when I want it. Also, this establishment has very limited options compared to other similar restaurants. Very crowded and not organized to create a good "flow" while getting your food. Honestly, the best thing available in my opinion is the salad bar.
