Had a crab salad sandwich today. It was excellent. Price is good for being right downtown and using quality ingredients. I like that they let you order a half sandwich for a lower price, which is plenty of food for me for lunch. The only thing I think they could work on sometimes is a bit speedier order completion when they are not busy. Ive waited for a to go order a couple of times when no one behind the counter was concerning themselves with preparing it because the lunch rush was over. Only a couple of times though. Very nice employees and good food. Good coffee.

Waited in line for 20 min which was OK. But after watching food prep I left. One lady didnt even have hair tied back. Others put meat on counter and slid sandwich along the counter. No napkins or plates. Used same hands to put tuna salad on bun and then grabbed cheese. Lots of cross contamination. Im a vegetarian . never saw her change gloves or wipe counter. Just keep sllding all buns avocoado etc across the same counter. By now out of time to eat elsewhere but I left.

I got food poisoning from this place about six months ago. I was visiting from Cali when my brother and I stumbled upon this place. We thought the food was OK but the fact that we ended up getting sick from this place afterwards makes me want to cringe Everytime I think about this place. We didnt end up pressing charges but seriously to the staff. Please be careful on how you handle your food. Its not fun to get sick on your last 2 weeks of summer. >:(

From Canada, I attend an annual convention in the summer. For the past 10 years or so, I have been enjoying the salads, sandwiches & coffees at Toasters. So have the dozens of my fellow conventioners who have taken my recommendation to give it a try. I am an espresso lover... and these guys make fantastic espresso. And Caprese salads to die for. Will be back in SLC and at Toasters next August for sure!

Indie little hole in the wall offering slightly better than average sandwiches. Enjoyed finding a place with a bit of character in the SLC area. Ordered a reuben - wasnt bad. The guys behind the counter were meh. Not rude, but definitely had an "I can believe youre making me do my job" attitude. A bit expensive for what it was, but for the other options around, it got the job done.

This is a simple quick breakfast and lunch shop for the office crowd. Bagels. Baked goods, coffee and espresso drinks (quality done by hand machine for those). Made to order sandwiches with standard lunch meats. Soup. International candy selection is nice. Handicap friendly seating. Easy parking tricky but right across the street from public garage.

The food is really good - But I was disturbed to see that after my sandwich was prepared the cashier put my sandwich in the gill and then into my to go box without wearing gloves or washing her hands. She is holding cash and other peoples credit cards and then assisting with the preparation of the food without using basic sanitation.

This place is super tasty and is a great place to visit when downtown with three locations. My staple is the Roast Beef sandwich and I love that it comes with a choice of chips, green salad, or pasta salad. It does get busy so best to arrive before 1130 especially when there is an event going on at the Convention Center.

Great breakfast options. I think they have changed the sourcing for some of the cured meats they carry recently though, because some items like their prosciutto or not nearly as good as they used to be. During the busiest times theres a decent wait here, but its not ever too bad because these guys are pretty quick

Their sandwiches are drenched in balsamic vinegar. I dont mind balsamic vinegar, but this is just too much. If you get it without balsamic its way delicious! But I always feel dumb doing that cuz its like their signature ingredient. The staff isnt that welcoming. And the sandwich is $8+ which I think is high.

Pretty decent food and they serve beer and wine. Gets very crowded during lunch time. Service is a bit on a slow side, which is kind of weird, as there are always at least three people (rather grumpy people, I must add) behind the counter. Bottom line - good food, but hey, guys, move it.

Had a breakfast croissant, they warm it in a panini press which kind of defeats the purpose of a croissant. It tasted fine, just lost the texture you want from a croissant. Mocha coffee was excellent, wifi is free for two hours, really nice people with a neighborhood feel.

Im glad I found this place. Its not far from work, so I like to stop in at lunch. Quick, easy, and Ive never had a bad experience. Price is very reasonable for what you get. I moved here from California and was used to paying twice as much for what you get.

One of the few places I could find open downtown on a Sunday. The food was very good. Nice atmosphere, young hipster crowd. They had sports on and made good coffee, I have no complaints except that it was slightly on the spendy side of things.

Toasters is the perfect quick breakfast place or a good place to grab a drink on the go. I have been here many times and it has a wide variety of food to order and stuff to grab off the shelf. Their breakfast sandwiches are my favorite.

Very friendly service. I had a bagel with cream cheese and it was very good. I also ordered a hot cocoa, which was questionable. Im not sure if it was an off day or maybe thats something you just dont order here, but it was not great.

Great food, priced accordingly. I especially like the salads. The service is great for me at least who goes there regularly. If you are kind to service people you usually are also treated with kindness. Please remember that.

Cute little cafe, Ill grab a quick breakfast here, let because its got good coffee AND tea. The warm city atmosphere it presents and local placement is good if you want to wander the city or work and want a quick bite.

Fast, yummy. Sandwiches are good, and their spinach & strawberry salad is great. Nothing fancy, just a good, fast east coast or euro style sandwich shop with great coffee. Skip the chain sandwich shop next door.

Good sandwich although it had a bit too much balsamic for my taste. Soup was good but would have been better had it been a bit warmer. My Americano was great. Friendly staff. Would definitely eat here again.

So good they had to open multiple locations blocks apart to better serve the booming lunch crowd. Lunches can have long lines but they move fast and Ive always had success with call ahead orders.

Best Americano I have had. The staff is friendly and genuinely care about their service. Both breakfast and lunch menu is fresh and delicious. My favorite when going downtown for work or fun.

Great sandwiches but I do prefer xoke over pepsi and the drink cups are like 8 ounces. Great environment though and friendly service. Sandwiches are anything but boring. Good place.
