overall, my experience wasnt bad. I started my evening off with a grilled chicken burrito. It was excellent, other than a slightly stale tortilla. But I attribute that to the fact that I bought it at 1:30 am. My first taco was a sad story. It was cracked across the entire bottom. The meat to cheese to lettuce ratio was good, though. My second taco was like a glorious gift from heaven. There was plenty of meat, just the right amount of lettuce, and lots of cheese. Its not often that I find such a marvelous taco. My third and last taco was a disappointment. The whole taco was broken in half. I proceeded to douse my taco in hot sauce, by removing the entire top of my taco. If youve ever eaten a taco like that, youll understand how hard it is. I mean, I know I came at 1:30 am, but surely you can be nice and not snap my taco shell? Overall, the food tasted great and the window service at 1:30 am was excellent. Very fast compared to where I come from. If I ever find myself in Layton with a hankering for tacos, Ill be back.

Overall the food is good for "Fast Food" and weirdly enough I love their french fries but was greatly dissapointed with the service today. I went in to get a strawberry lemonade but was told they didnt have any because no one felt like filling it back up. I could not believe what I was hearing and the lack of caring. But I suppose thats what happens when you leave children to run a restaurant. I know I shouldnt but I cannot believe the lack of pride and responsibility people have. These places act like they are doing me a favor by serving me food but they need to remember people work hard for their money and have many choices where they can eat.

WORST del taco ever. Well maybe not the worst but definitely has the worst employee ever working there. I wouldnt usually go out of my way to give a review but when its 1230am and i pull up to give you my order and im the only one in the drive through get off your ass and do your job. The mexican lady that was working on 3/10 around midnight just sat there and shook her head at me and continued to play on her phone. I hope you were looking for another job because i will be telling your regional manager about your incompetence, disrespect and laziness. Go work at tacobell if thats how you roll. Dont give del taco a bad name.

"Taco Tuesday", I was there at 4:30 pm and I went in to order, I was happy because for once I beat the crowd. They messed my order up twice, the sauce packets was empty on the condiment counter as was the napkins. I went to look on the tables and all I found was the inferno. I went to the counter and told an employee then asked for some mild sauce. I was directed to the condiment counter. There was only 4 customers, including myself, inside the restaurant. They are normally very nice, polite, and professional. I always do "Taco Tuesday" the last Tuesday of every month so lets see how next month goes.

This is THE WORST locaton in UTAH, if you are reading this, dont go into the drive through. I will be telling everyone about my experience today and yesterday while trying to get 3 bean boritos. Yesterday was 30 min in the drive through and today wad at least 20. What is this? Fast food or a pharmacy or fast food because there is nothing fast and who does the hiring ? This place must be on the brink of going under and is probably hurting other locations and thats why I will contact franchise owners in the morning.

The worst service I have ever received in a drive thru. Not only did i get trapped in drive thru for 32 minutes, they also got my order wrong. I also saw two other customers leave very upset. The manager on duty was very dry and insensitive. I come to this location often and love del taco but after tonight I wont be coming back to this location unless they get some competent people to work here. She didnt even offer to fix my order. I was given a refund and left hungry.

Got the nacho cheese fries with chicken soft tacos and a churro. I am not sure how these guys manage to extinguish my hunger in a more delicious way than the last. Their cherry coke tastes amazing. Their cheddar quesadillas I recommend. I havent had any fish. Really understanding with special requests. I like this place. It would be nice if the drive thru was a little quicker. Sometimes you get people from the bus stop on the side walk try and ask you for a ride.

They are slow and get your order wrong or forget some of your food 1/2 the time but they are nice about it. Food is decent They just screwed up my order again. If you use the drive thru just plan on having to go inside to fix yiur order... every single time. Never fails. At least they are consistent I guess And they messed up again.... its a good thing for them that my wife loves del taco and there isnt another one close by.

We sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes without even being asked about our order. Finally frustrated I go inside where the girl just glances at us as she goes inside the office and ignores us. After another five minutes inside we realize that we are not going to be served and we left. I will not be coming back. This is supposed to be fast food, Ive had better service at gas stations.

Walked in around 2 pm. Placed order around 2:10 pm. Odered 8 value tacos...walked out of store (with cold tacos) at 2:30. Only 4 customers in store. The guy bagging food almost gave us 2 extra tacos...his manager stopped him and had him reopen our whole order to check everything. Lousy...for the time it took should have let us keep tacos cause then might have gone back.

Absolutely the WORST Del Taco I have ever been to! Cant stand this place. Weve given this location multiple chances over the last 6 years, and were definitely done. EVERY TIME we come, we wait forever, and/or the order is screwed up nearly every time. I am currently sitting in the drive thru, and have been for 15+ min. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Unreal!

Worst del taco I have ever been to. Weve only been 3 times since moving to Layton and all 3 times have taken 30 plus minutes to service only a few cars and were always missing food or given the wrong food. Takes until the next day to talk to someone since the night crew never answers the phone, no matter what time I call. Never going to this location again.

It is usually a bit of a wait but thats to be expected, theres always a lot of people here! They mess up my order occasionally but often theyre small mistakes and they always replace/fix my order. Service is seriously amazing. The food is as expected, not anything amazing but pretty good! Dining area is always clean too so thats nice. 5/5 customer service.
