I love the Pie. We order here often - (its my boyfriends all-time favorite pizza in the state) - but recently weve had some troubling orders (everything from prepared incorrectly - being overcharged - and worst of all, pulling a piece of hair out of my mouth mid bite. DISGUSTING of course (but lets face it... Its happened to all of us at one point or another - and it can happen to the best of them). That said, Brennan the manager did take care of re-making the salad I had ordered in which the aforementioned offense took place. The Pie would normally get 5 stars, but with 4 of the last 5 orders not meeting our expectations for reasons listed above I have to give it a 4 for now - but hope and believe they will soon earn back their 5th star (so long as they get my orders right. So long as we can trust they will always include ingredients we DID ask for, disclude ingredients we specifically did NOT ask for {including but not limited to hair}, not ever overcharge us again, and put out the quality of food and service weve come to love about the Pie - then they will regain their fifth star soon.

The pizza here is ok. I am writing a review about the "apacolypDOUGH" crust for pizzas. DO NOT GET IT. That is, unless you enjoy spending your evening on the toilet. I have a pretty high tolerance for heat when it comes to spicy foods, however this was over the top. It was not to hot when actually eating it, but the afterburn was atrocious. 30min-2 hours after consumption (depending on the person) you began to feel a warm fuzzy feeling in the gut. Then the warm fuzzy turns into a cramping hot sensation. Then (also depending on the person) you will find yourself on the toilet where it burns coming out with the same intensity as going in. This pizza was brought as a gift to the nurses station one evening. We all had our share and all experienced this. Pie pizzaria should provide complimentary rolaids, pepto, and tums along with several gallons of milk to anyone who eats this pizza. this sticker on the box says "warning not for children" it should say "warning not for HUMANS"

Picked this restaurant due to ratings... My boyfriend ordered the spaghetti, which was delicious.. I ordered a small pizza with several toppings... when it arrived (I ordered mushrooms, black olives, and tomato) the tomatoes were fresh, not cooked with the pizza...I asked about this and was told that was what I ordered... well , the pizza crust was not cooked... doughy, ICK! however, since I had already complained about the RAW tomatoes, I didnt ask to have my pizza cooked entirely.. great atmosphere... but, it seems when I was there the place was staffed by a bunch of airheads that didnt have good customer service skills. Would NOT recommend this restaurant to my friends and family... I wasted my money!!! I would suggest someone from management be available at all times to monitor.

I used to work at a hotel and each time a guest asked for pizza, Id recommend the pie. If you want to get stuffed full, the Pie is the place to get a big meal. Each slice is so thick the cheese can easily be separated from the bread. A little greasy but delicious overall! The mountain of meat is one of my favorites, it contains 2 of every animal. Another big favorite is the buffallo chicken. They have other great toppings to choose from. I dont like eating at the location much because its always packed and its difficult to hear anybody 2 feet away fro you. If you want to have a meeting, I recommend delivery. The home brewed root beer was pricey and wasnt my favorite, but the novelty of having fresh root beer was nice. The food is delicious and worth the buck if youre starving. ENJOY!

The customer service at this location is horrible. They need to train their delivery drivers better. I had a delivery scheduled for 3:15pm at 2:53pm their driver started calling me and would not stop calling. He called 18 times almost within 10 minutes. I was not able to answer my phone as I was at work and on the phone with a customer. I could not believe how many times the driver called. The time before this the driver was 20 minutes late for the delivery and were right up the street. I will not be doing business with this location again. It gives the pie a bad name. The owners should do something to make sure this location is up to par with their other locations.

Really disappointed after getting a few different pizzas on different occasions from this place, especially, after all the internet hype and #1 designations. Was expecting a great one-of-a-kind place that serves a pizza different from everywhere else. The pizzas here resembled a combination of better quality papa johns and dominos more than anything else. Gummy, doughy crust that doesnt have a unique flavor and should be in the least baked longer, boring sauce and an over-application of greasy, not so great cheese. Not planning on returning - Id rather go to Papa Johns - sad. Please let there be a great pizza place somewhere in the South Jordan area.

My sister and I dined here on the evening of Monday, February 15. The nice waiter allowed us to open a bottle of wine without having to pay a corkage fee. The 14" pepperoni and anchovie pizza that we ordered was fantastic. I am giving this particular Pie Pizzeria a one star rating because of the crap pop music that they play. This music (even for a teenager) is too loud, too obnoxious and way too obscene. This would have been the perfect meal had Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett or Dave Brubeck been playing instead of the loud, trash music that only fifty-cent could be proud of. I would love to return but only if they play descent music.

Have gotten delivery before and was very pleased. Tonight was a bit of a letdown. The Buffalo Wings were disappointing. They were soggy and a few were burned. It looked like they were wrapped in tin foil and then heated up in the oven with wing sauce on it. I lived in Buffalo for four years and ate authentic wings from the Anchor Bar. They are crispy. They are fried first, then tossed in the hot sauce. The Stromboli pizza was dry. Lots of toppings, but little sauce. The crust was chewy and tough. Sometimes we all have an off day. Ill give them another try. Its pricey, so Ill go elsewhere if they disappoint again.

This review is based primarily on context. Im from New Jersey. No one outside of New York will have pizza even close to ours--I get it. But The Pie has some damn good pizza! Ive gotten takeout twice from this location and both times, I didnt wait one second for my order and it was "just-out-of-the-oven-hot". Perfect. The best thing about these pies are the cheese, which is admittedly, better than what Im used to on the East Coast. Id like thinner crust, but again, this review is in the context of Utah, where its the best pizza youll find in a 300 miles radius.

First and foremost, the pizza from this place is outstanding. It is my favorite in Utah at the current moment. Also the atmosphere at this one by U of I campus is fun. Its got a college feel to it (duh. Its kind of like 100 feet from campus). And I actually dont consider this place too pricey. Considering you get the amount of pizza that you do AND considering how good it is, its well worth the 23 bucks I spend to get their stuff when I go. Seriously, dont think about it and just go. Its way good.
