Im usually easy-to-please. I go to restaurants because I dont want to cook, not for some transcendental adventure in cuisine. I dont think Ive ever given anything rating online in my life, but I came here in somewhat of a revelation born from outrage over the incredible injustice prevailing at Chinatown Restaurant. The food was so god awfully unpalatable. To the point where it didnt offend my taste, but was also not super enthused about keeping it down my gullet. I contemplated buying Ipecac, because every bite I took, I felt more forlorn, like I was falling deeper into exponentially growing sorrow and insatiability. My only reservation about regurgitating my meal was that I would be forced to taste it again. We were seated immediately, but only because we were one of two tables being waited. Nevertheless, we received sparse treatment from our unenthusiastic waitress. And furthermore, all the while, we had to suffer through what we can only presume to be the owners fussy child practicing piano from the back room. It was cacophonous catastrophe. In the end, we paid way too much for way too much food, because the menu was way too confusing. And after it all, I felt pity for them because they have to endure this seemingly endless road construction that is strangling their business. But they didnt really deserve my pity. I was so depressed from the state of affairs, a dark cloud of melancholy pervaded my retreat home. And now Im so much further from where I thought I was, trying to figure out the meaning of life.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered my food at 7pm it arrived at 9:20 pm after 4 calls. My food was on the road for over an our and was extremely cold. I was will to forgive this its Christmas for christ sakes but I wasnt about to pay $50 that a $20 tip . So I called I was offered a $10 discount and I had typed in a $20 tip again its Christmas. So I cold him I would give him $30 and he started arguing that I owed him $40. I told him that $20 was the tip and showed him the recipt. He called his boss and came back and told him I owed him $35 I had a $50 and requested he give me change before I gave him the money. He said he needed to take my money to the car to get my change and I told him no I will hold onto it until he came back. He then asked for the food back and I said no Im working and have been waiting for 2 1/2 hours for my food Im hungry. He pulled $10 from his pocket took my money said sorry I dont have change. Whatever forgive and forget. I get to my food its cold and the Styrofoam wreaked of cigarettes. The food was honestly discusting. I could make better food with play dough. I am an incredibly generous person but I was appalled at the way I was treated. Take my advice stay far far away.

Im afraid this place is a fail. Ordered online. Called in to confirm. They confirmed and gave me an ETA. Went to pick up - waited 35 minutes past their estimate, totaling 55 minutes from order to pickup. Extremely disorganized. Needed to pay 5 separate ways. Took them 15 minutes to figure out how to do it. I almost asked if I could just walk behind the counter and do it myself. Its just addition, right? I know how to use a credit card machine and count money. Ive been to elementary school. Also, we had to check every meal to find they had forgotten several. Food was, item by item, between disgusting and average. Fried rice was standard fried rice. Sweet and sour chicken had a noticeable taste of either stale frying oil, or chicken fried in oil that happened to also have seafood or rags or something in it. It was very unsalted. Egg drop soup was stale at first... until I ingested a mouthful of literal raw egg, which was lukewarm, by the way. Hopefully it was at some point over 165 degrees and Ill be spared a fun salmonella infection. My coworkers apparently meant for me to go to Rice King, which has comparable low prices, but isnt nasty chow from Das Boot. My mistake.

The food came fast but wrong. The host that seated us, bless his heart, was probably 101 and spoke no English, I suppose, since he didnt say a word. The manager was on the phone when we came in, he came to take our order by saying, "You ready?" We ordered 3 lunch specials, the cashew chicken is 90% celery, the lemon chicken was good, the sesame chicken not so tasty. I asked for steamed rice and got ham fried rice. Finally a waitress came by, she took two plates back for white rice. Hubby LOVED the ham fried rice. The rude manager didnt ask if we wanted egg rolls or won tons so they brought egg rolls. I wanted won tons. The waitress brought the won tons, which were fabulous. Not cream cheese, tho... Very sweet, like donuts. Not sure if well come back. Ooh, we parked in the back, and the cook was taking a couple of bags of what looked like fortune cookies to the storage shed... He had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, coming out of the kitchen! Did I mention the hair in Hubbys egg drop soup? On second thought, maybe we wont be back.

I have eaten take out at this restaurant several times with friends and family in the past and the food has been great for the price. Tonight I ordered pick up just as the store was closing. I picked up my order 10 minutes after they said it would be ready and took my food to a friends house down the road to eat it. The food was the worst Ive had anywhere in my life. It tasted hours old. Ive had this food sit out for an hour plus before eating it in the past (because life is busy) and what we had tonight was sooo much worse than that. Maybe a combo of bad food, bad cooking and old food remains of the day? I called to complain and was told that the food is always fresh and that it was my fault the food wasnt good because I picked it up late. Im pretty sure 10 minutes doesnt destroy food. There is no excuse for such bad customer service. What a waste of time and money tonight and I will not risk going there again.

If it were possible to give this a "0" star rating, I would hae. This food was unbelievably disgusting and way more expensive than it was worth. First, I ordered food to be delivered to my house and it took forever to get here. Then, it finally got here and our delivery boy wasn't very nice or friendly. Then our food was the grossest chinese I have ever had in my life. It tasted old and cold and it had no flavor. They didn't have any dishes that were breaded (which I was expecting 3 of the dishes to be). It was torture just to try and eat one bite. Then we called for our money back and the person we talked to was super rude while we were trying to be nice about the situation. They refused to give us any part of our money back so we finally had to go through the credit card company to dispute the worthless $45 purchase. Do Not Eat Here. Worst Chinese Food Ever.
