I would never have stumbled upon this place if I werent visiting family staying at a hotel nearby and Im very glad I did. While the restaurant is humble in appearance it makes up for it with its delicious homemade diner style food. There portions are quite large and most of their appetizers could probably be eaten as a meal by itself. The menu isnt the largest selection but its surprisingly diverse. My group stayed in the the $8-$10 range with their sandwich, soup and salad selections but their $15 salmon and steak platters sounded great. I also overheard they had a kid menu if you wanted smaller portions. All of their food, sauces and dressings are house made so there is a bit of a wait but it is definitely worth it. I had their Roasted Red Pepper Bisque which was one of the best soups I have ever tasted. After sharing a bite with those on my table they changed their side dish to that as well. The bread on all their sandwiches is house made as well and is very good quality. I had their Philly Cheese steak which was more of a french dip with onions and green peppers. If I were to get it again I would ask for a little Aus Jus on the side as it was a little dry. Other than that I wouldnt change a thing. The meat, the veggies, the soup, the bread everything else I tried was delicious and very good quality. Will definitely be a repeat customer even if it is in an isolated area of the city. If youre in the area dont miss out on this place! PS I had a taste of my sisters brownie sundae and their brownie and fudge recipe is one of the best Ive tasted. I might have to go back just to try out their desserts.

The food was ok, the waitress was nice enough. The building looks like everything else in this town..... run down. One one star rating comes from the refusal of the cook to prepare my food as requested. I ordered the club sandwich, and requested that it come with rye bread, rather than the white which was advertised. I asked the waitress if they had rye, she said yes, and I then asked to have that put on my sandwich in stead of white bread. She came back a few minutes later and said that he would not use rye bread. As I was tired, and merely here waiting for my hotel room to become available, I did not put up the argument that I should have and said ok. I must say, that is the first time in my life that a nobody cook told me that he would not prepare my food as requested. I will never return so long as he is employed there. Shame on you.

I was staying at the Marriott next door and used to hop down there for food mainly lunch and i had the amazing food from this quaint little restaurant. The exterior is a little worn out but the interiors are new. Food was excellent given the fact that i am a vegetarian and my choices were limited but the staff at the restaurant were very helpful and gave me a variety of veggie special options and catered to my need.Food was inexpensive and exceptionally tasty. This little gem is tucked outside the view of the city and has its loyal customers from the nearby offices. Worth the visit and will certainly visit them more often.

Have NOT been pleased. Each experience has come with complaints. Prices are high. Food is mediocre and often the orders are wrong. Often missing ingredients. They wont trade non healthy food items for healthy choices. IE: Fruit for hash browns or an extra egg The front lady (red hair) is NOT nice at all. She advised us we could have saved money if we ordered different, but then wouldnt switch it. Same amount of food!!! Why wouldnt you tell the customer when they order it. Its called customer service. Ill take my business to PERKINS down the street same food will make exceptions and they are NICE!!!!

The Chicken Parmigiana was very good... baked with just the right amount of crispiness and a wonderful cheese drape and what appears to be a homemade marinara. The pasta was good as well. For desert I had the homemade apple pie with ice cream. I should have ordered a coffee to go with dessert. My bad. The best part was that there is outside seating where my dog was welcome to sit with me. The staff made over her and made her feel welcome too. Great place. I recommend it, especially if youre staying nearby and have your furry friend with you.

Home made. The waitress was excellent in recommendations. You can tell everything is fresh and made to order. I ordered the Pasta Primavera in a wine sauce and you could taste a hint of the wine, which is the way it is suppose to be. The cream of mushroom soup was spot on. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that the atmosphere is totally diner, dive. I wish I was in the area more because I would like to get to know this place better. I will definitely keep it in mind the next time I have to stay near the airport.

Nice little whole in the wall. When you come in you seat yourself unless in a group of 5 or more however i didnt see the sign and waited for a few minutes and not one of the employees said anything to me even though a few saw me standing there. Merinda was attentive and kind. I Ordered the mushroom burger, there wasnt cheese on it and it was thin and mediocre, fries were large but mushy! Ultimately it was an average visit. But Id be open to come in again and try something else.

I had the Bacon Cheese burger during this visit. I was disappointed. It really didnt have any flavor, nothing to make it stand out, it was just kind of blah. The American cheese that was melted over the patty kind of over powered everything else. The fries were good, and as always, love having that fry sauce!! I also had the Apple pie with cheddar cheese melted over the top and a scoop of ice cream, it was pretty dang good!! Definitely recommend that! Good beer selection also!!

So I ate here for lunch and had the Rueben. It was just ok. Not horrible but was missing something. Corned beef a little thick and sauce was just bland. Not many options close and dyeing for a steak I gave it another shot. Bad decision! Ive never seen so much fat and grizzle in a NY Strip with absolutely no flavor. Veggies same. Ok there is a plus. Atmosphere and service is great. Basil tomato soup is pretty good. All for now and back to VA in the A.M.

This place will leave you in awe. For a little hole in the wall in a landlocked state, the salmon was exceptional. The included soup was unreal. The rest of the sides were prepapred with care and precision. Add to that incredible smiling customer service and some snappy 80s background music, this place is a gem for the weary traveler. I never write reviews but was so floored by what I assumed would be average bar food I felt obligated to share.

Ate here the first night we checked in to our hotel. We were stranded in Salt Lake City at the last minute before our flight due to Hurricane Irma. Orlando Airport closed due to the storm and decided to remain closed into Tuesday. We found this place right across the street. The food was good and our server was great. She took very good care of us. We are getting ready to walk over for a late dinner. The desserts look yummy, too!
