I went in for lunch and the food was okay, but the service was terrible, the two hostesses and two of the servers were very pretentious. They looked at us and treated us like 2nd class citizens. I was surprised, especially since I buy a summer day pass for mountain biking about 5 times a year and my friend has a summer season pass. Maybe it was because we were a little dirty from biking that morning. I will not go back, next time I will just pack a lunch. I worked in the bar and restaurant industry for 5 years during college at nice trendy restaurants in Salt Lake City, we would be fired for treating our clients in the same manner I was treated. I would have left if I wasnt so hungry. Our server spent little time as possible at our table and it took 25 minutes to get the check. He was too worried about people that were better dressed. I still tipped 20% only because I have worked in the service industry and know it can be hard work. I have a much higher paying job now and will look at other options in park city to eat and spend my money.

Deer Valley is a posh resort where everything is expensive. However, the service at Deer Valley is normally so great that it makes the high price worth it (see my review of Stag Lodge). However, that was not the case at Royal Street Cafe. My Korean BBQ sandwich was excellent and my hot toddy was also nice. My wife had the salmon which was good. However, our reservation was for 6:15PM and by 7:30PM we still had not received our food. Dinner for family of 5 with drinks was $145. My short summary of Royal Street Cafe is- The food at Royal Street Cafe is good, but not worth the price, and the service was rotten. Not up to Deer Valley standards.

Great alfresco dining near the silver express lift at the base of the mountain. Staff was friendly. We ordered a cheese and meat plate for two. The portion serving was generous and delicious. Prices were bout what is expected for resort dining. The sangria was fruity and very delicious. Great drink menu. Suggest you have a light lunch after hiking down the mountain. No reservation was needed. Great view of the mountain.

Average food. Waited for around 25 minutes to be served after we sat down at the table. However, Eddie our server was really kind. Its just unfortunate the restaurant seems to be unorganized and possibly understaffed. The hostess lady was also really kind by giving my little one a free milk. I would have given a 1-star had not for those people working there.

Great location. Friendly attentive staff. Excellent selections of wines cocktails and local beers. Large portions of well prepared food at reasonable (resort) prices. Two of us shared the cheese and charcuterie platter: wonderful local cheeses and condiments with fresh baked baguettes.

Great outdoor dining right in Deer Valleys mountain. The beer and wine list is great. The specials are always changing and always delicious. Perfect for lunch in the summer and dinner in the winter.

Food was great but the service needs a little help. Probably just a busy day but the staff was a bit stressed out and took it out on us a bit.
