This Indian restaurant is likely the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. My husband is Indian so I know good Indian food when I eat it, and this was definitely not it. Lets start first with the appearance. I walk in and Im greeted by beautiful decor (huge plus on the styling) and I think "man this food is gonna be so good!!" Im seated and the table is dirty....ok not a big deal because they can just wipe it down right? Wrong. Utensils and napkins are also dirty?? Um arent there sanitation codes places have to live up to?! I hit the buffet and immediately notice there is no substance to any of the dishes, like theyre literally WATERY. Ok so the thing with Indian dishes, most of the sauces are thick, like tomato based or chickpea and theyre awesome to dip your naan in. Literally all of the buffet dishes lacked any and all substance. The ground lamb was gross and watery, the chicken tikka masala was gross and watery. The kadhi was labeled yogurt curry but it had this bitter, strange, rotten taste. The gulab jamun was stone cold (for those whove never eaten, its like a super fatty donut thats warm and delicious). The custard was clumpy, tasted like it was off the shelf gits (Indian store brand). The vegetable pakora was cold, all batter and no vegetables. The lamb curry was more water than lamb or curry. The naan was cold, tea was watered down, and their water tasted awful, like they might seriously have issues with their plumbing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I gave it a fair go by trying multiple different dishes and I was appalled by them and even more so for the buffet price. Their food overall is disgusting, and given their apparent health code violations I can guarantee I will not darken their doorstep again.

This restaurant has outdone itself! A $9 weekend buffet with awesome variety and great service! Being vegetarian, I was happily surprised to find so many veg options on their menu! They had veg pakoras for starters with condiments of chutneys, raitha and salad. They were crisp and very tasty! Main course was 5 veg curries/gravies. These were good (not awesomely delicious but still very tasty) and served with freshly baked naans(breads) and rice. We finished the meal with 4 desserts! But the icing on the cake will have to be the Zafran Chai (Saffron infused tea) included on the buffet menu! Apart from this, there are non-veg dishes on offer too. The staff were very courteous and ensured that our water and naans were regularly refilled. The ambience with the Indian feel and Bollywood music on the TV is great! I give this restaurant four stars instead of five, only because the main course dishes were not as creamy and delectable as Ive eaten back home in India. Overall, we were thoroughly spoilt for choice, service was commendable and the pricing was very very pocket-friendly! Kudos to the chefs, waitresses and manager of this restaurant.

We had our lunch buffet at this restaurant today. Being reluctant in writing reviews, I pushed myself to write a review for the first time ever due to the terrible experience I had. I never mind about the food as it may/may not taste well at all restaurants, but the way they were treating Indians made me feel very bad. They dont care whats there in your plate whether you need to refill water or refill naans and most importantly no one had a pleasant face at all. Everyone looked so serious. (No one asks for a smile always atleast they wouldnt like to see a serious look around while in a restaurant). And coming to the food, it was pretty average. And Of course this was my personal experience.

I started going to this place at the end of 2014, and go a few times a month. I cant help but oder the same thing every time. Its toooo good. The Lamb Korma. Its chunks of lamb in a flavorful sauce. You can get it spicy, but I ask for it medium. Its not too spicy. Then I get the bread called Garlic Naan. Its a pita bread they lightly char. Dip that in the sauce. We order a few baskets of that, and an extra steamed rice. Its enough to fill up, and then take a good size meal home for lunch the next day. So we each get 2 meals, and priced nicely. For the amount of times I have been there, I have never tried anything else. Just cant break away from my fav. lol

Its hidden away in the middle of a small strip center west of I17 but worth the hunt! Lunch (especially on Saturday) is a great buffet and the tables often are filled with Indian families having a get together. (Ive never been brave enough to try the goat! But love everything else). The buffet includes chai which some places dont include. Dinners are even better (they may have menu items at lunch also, not sure). My fave is lamb saag, it never fails to wow me. Their breads are good, with the paranthas having enough filling to taste! Its about a 30 mile drive for us but we try to get there at least once a month!

In a word, fabulous!! THIS is what I have been looking for, fantastic food, fantastic service and fantastic beer! Originally being from England where Indian is basically the national dish (no, its not fish and chips! its Indian) this is about as close as I think I will ever find in the US. They have fantastic food, they have Peshwari Naan, they have Kingfisher Beer and they have a really lovely restaurant. If you are British, THIS is the curry house youve been looking for, for everyone else, just trust me, try this place and love it. Take out or dine in, youll have a great time. HIGHLY recommended.

Delicious food I had ever eaten at an Indian Restaurant. I been looking for a good Indian restaurant in the valley and finally I know where I need to go for Indian buffet. Variety of items in the buffet and it was all fresh. I had chicken curry, lamb curry and keema and I wanted to have it again :) but then I thought to taste something else so took tandoori chicken and really liked it! Naan was really fresh and soft. In desert they had 3-4 items and I took Gulab jamun and kheer and both were delicious. Would go there again and again! Recommended!

“Best Indian Food Ever!” I live in a small town (Durango, CO), so one of the highlights of any city visit is trying new restaurants. Indian Palace was recommended by a friend who works with a man married to a woman from India and there was no hesitation in their recommendation. Nice atmosphere (youll love or hate the Indian music videos) and decor, wonderful service and orgasmic food. Prices for dinner were similar to what I pay for breakfast in Durango. We were all a float in pure joy by the end of the meal. Cant wait to return!

My fiance and I love going to India Palace! The people are warm and welcoming and very genuine to provide you with good service. The food...love it AND crave it! My fiance is vegetarian and we both love their menu. Im slowly trying a new dish every time we go and every item is delicious. The medium spice is just what they say, a true medium spice. Whether you choose mild to hot spice, depth of flavor is not compromised. This is our family favorite restaurant and will continue to frequent!
