Ordered food and turned up to collect it, almost walked out the door when I realized that the bag was a little small. Half my food was missing. Notified the staff—the young girl didnt seem to particularly care, she went to the kitchen, and almost a full 5 minutes later came back and told me they were going to make it now. So the rest of my food sat there and got cold. No apology, no offer to discount, no customer service. I fully suggest that you check orders before the customer walks out with them, and at least be apologetic if you miss half of it. The food was mediocre.

Go in, just go in, the outside decoration does what it can in the development, but inside its an excellent atmosphere to enjoy great chinese and thai food! Youll hear various languages spoken amongst the staff (Oriental, Spanish, Sanpete Countyese), prompt waiters and waitresses, and excellent food that wins my "dining out" money more often than any other chinese food in either Salt Lake or Davis Counties. Ive spotted more than a few NBA players amongst the booths; however, everyone recieves the same respect and attention from the owner.

I didnt grow up in this area, so I have an outsiders point of view. Me and my daughters ate there on a week night. The place was empty. We were the only ones there; that was scary. It always makes me nervous, thinking to myself what do others know that I dont? Well, the waitress was polite and attentive. The price was "as usual", but the food, although none of us got diarrhea it was not the best. I probably will not be going back. The locals may like it but I know what a good Chinese restaurant can produce and this was not that....

I disagree with Dr. Barton. He must not have any taste for good food. I have traveled extensively, lived in several states and overseas. I have eaten in many many restaurants from New York to Guam. By far, the China Platter serves the freshest food. It is always hot and seasoned perfectly. I have only lived in bountiful for six years but have eaten there at least 50 times. The service is great. It is the best value in town. The atmosphere is fantastic. I feel sorry for Dr. Barton and his children. They will miss out.

Staff were very nice and the service was great however, the food must be an acquired taste which I do not want to acquire. Egg drop soup had a lot of noodles (thin spaghetti). Egg roll was ok but the sauce for it had a funny after taste. The sesame beef also had a funny taste. The sesame chicken was a bit better but still not good. Ham fried rice wasnt good either. We only went there on a recommendation from a co-worker. Never gonna listen to them again!

Only decent item out of our order was the fried rice, and we ordered a fair bit of food. Mediocre portions, bland food, the shrimp tasted like itd been fried in week old grease and the egg drop soup looked (and tasted) like someone cracked an egg into a can of Cambells chicken noodle soup. Definitely not worth the $70+ I spent on the meal and definitely wont be ordering from here again.

Not your typical Chinese food more like you would find in a Costco frozen food section the egg drop soup mor like egg like ramen from the dollar tree hostis was nice but not particularly interested in our service the waiter was slow and unresponsive win told of our dissatisfaction his response was to laugh and walk away over all thee worst Chinese food in Utah

Ordered food online to be delivered to hotel. 94 minutes later... And without silverware or receipt. The delivery man said "you need silverware" Yes, Im in a hotel not at home. . 20 minutes later returned with silverware. I had to ask for a copy of my receipt as well And after all that the food was flavorless . Do not recommend them.

Bad food flavor less except for the fried rice. Also when calling them its horrible. The person on the other end of the phone didnt speak English too well and I repeated myself at least 5 times before he understood what I was trying to communicate. They also missed an order of spring rolls and the delivery person had to come back.

The Outside looks like a carry out. The inside is large amazingly ornate. Very classy and Asiatic atmosphere. The portions are immense. Mongolian beef was spicy, a first for me, (Ill ask for less hot next time) but delicious just the same. The Spring rolls rock. I could go on but, its just a great Asian dining experience.

Never thought I would get full at a Chinese restaurant when its not buffet. Food was great and service was good. I had the orange chicken combo. Wow.... We also orders the side of ribs. They werent ribs, they were legs. The only thing I didnt like was the hot and sour. But thats okay. Jesse served us. Ask for him.

I loved their food up until this day when they treated me and my co-workers horribly and gave us cat meat for teriyaki chicken. we will never be going back and will not recommend to anyone very disappointed somebody with such low credibility would treat customers like this. they will be a dive in no time.

Undercooked sweet & sour pork, dry and off flavored sesame beef, overcooked shrimp prawns & ok general tsao chicken with no container of rice to accompany take out order. A waste of $35. Hadnt gone to China Platter in 15+ years and now clearly remember why. No it hasnt gotten better.

One of the few places that will deliver to the west side of Davis County. We ordered take out and their delivery fee is only $2. Food was delicious, it got here quicker than I thought it would. I dont recommend the egg drop soup, it sucks, but their hot and sour soup is awesome!

I dont know how I have missed out eating here. Ive lived in North Salt Lake for 9 years and have never been here. Amazing food and amazing service. While I was waiting for my takeout, other guests were greeted by name. I will definitely go back again.

Service was great! The food was cooked quickly and had incredible flavor! We had wonton soup, general tso and the chicken lo mein from the lunch menu. The egg drop soup was delicious and I normally hate egg drop soup. Will definitely be back!

A hundred gallons of gold paint were murdered in the decorating of this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food quality and taste were better than what I expected. I recommend the Hot and Sour soup

The food was mediocre at best. The staff dont speak English that well so be prepared to repeat yourself a few times. There is definitely better choices near by instead of this place. I will never be back.

This place is hands down the best around. Their menu is great with some awesome Thai food and their Chinese food is as good or better than the Mandarin restaurant, but with better prices and more food.

We ordered takeout from here and we loved it. So naturally we decided that wed try eating in the restaurant. We were a little disappointed the second time but we will be back to see if it was a fluke.
