My family have been ordering from Golden Pearl now since 2006 when we first moved to Utah and have loved the dishes. Weve ordered dinner at least once a week either for ourselves or when having friends over and its been so easy easy to just pick up the phone and it be ready within 15 minutes. It takes some getting used to when the monotone no personality guy on the other end of the phone makes you think youre talking to a robot. If you read the positive reviews youll notice that they are now more than 2 years old. Im not sure whats happened over there at Golden Pearl but it has quickly gone downhill for some reason. The past 6 months weve tried to get past the bland tasting dishes thinking the chef might have had an off night but no. Its been months and the dishes all taste the same, bland. The mongolian beef is just all onions, wheres the beef? No flavor, no flavor, no flavor!!! Nothing tastes good anymore! Golden Pearl you probably dont care about this one bad review but Im sure more will start coming in. I wish you guys were still good but it looks like we will be looking elsewhere for our next chinese takeout. Sorry

Disgusting. Plain and simple. This restaurant is dirty from floor to ceiling but yet the health department keeps giving them licenses to cook and sell food to the public. The guy that took the order was very monotone..didnt really seem like he enjoyed being at work and was totally unhelpful. Upon waiting a good 20 minutes while they filled orders that came after us we finally took our food home and when we opened it, it was pretty much all onions. No other flavor could be detected but the glorious abundance of onions. I really have no clue how this restaurant is still open. We wont be back.

I read the other reviews here and was a little skeptical. So I took my family out to the restaurant to give them a try for lunch today. Not a single one of us could clear our plates, the food was that plentiful. We ordered 4 lunches to try different platters, the walnut beef and pineapple chicken were awesome! They deliver too, for a small fee. I think we have a new favorite Chinese restaurant!

Awful, the chicken in my lemon chicken had no flavor or seasoning. The lemon sauce was bland. The rice was okay but the soy sauce had no flavor at all. I asked for a knife to cut my lemon chicken, they didnt have one. I also had the Hot and Sour soup. It was ok but had a mystery brown meat in it. I wont be going back there again.

We ordered sweet n sour chicken and pepper beef. Apparently the fried rice is not made with egg and vegetables, just tiny pieces of ham, so that was a minus for me. The chicken was in big chunks with sauce on side-minus 1.The pepper beef was really good though +1. The egg flower soup and the egg roll were great +1

Their eggrolls are super super good! Egg drop soup is also great. Very generous with delicious ham fried rice in dinner meal. Sweet and sour chicken or pork was really big, have to put your own sauce on, and bit overwhelming. Overall very good. Ill be going back again soon.

Very rude... treated us ( me and a couple co workers) like we we there to make trouble and not be able to enjoy some authentic Chinese food... did not allow us to enjoy food with his negativity... we asked for literally 3 soy sauce packets and he wanted to charge us...

This is the worst place I have ever been to... I bought a Mongolian beef and the meat was raw. I can back to replace for something different chicken instead beef and he charge me full price.. I would never come back or recommend this place. Check what you eating people.

We love our little neighborhood chinese restaurant. You get a *ton* of delicious food for really cheap, and they always cook it up fresh to order. Everything is still steaming hot when we get it home to eat. This little strip mall restaurant is a Rose Park gem!

My wife and I really like the fried rice there and thats about the only thing we get there so we cant say much for the rest of their food. Service is always quick and you get a lot for your money with the fried rice. Its great for take out.

Food is good although they over charge. They literally charged me .10 just to put my sauce on the side and .10 per extra soy sauce. I also seen him add .10 more to my extra egg roll. After thats when he added taxes to it on top of it all.

it was okay, first time there. we got two dinners for two people which ended up being twice what we needed. no veggies, but lots of meat. general tsos chicken tasted a little like coffee...? a little expensive for what we got.

Was staying by the airport and looking for a chinese restaurant close by. Read the other reviews and gave it a try. Me and my wife shared one plate and only finished one third, huge portions and was made fresh.

Its the best Chinese restaurant Ive ever tasted.The space is not big but the meal is "big" enough and delicious.I will recommend this place to my friends when stay in salt lake city intl airport area.

Poor customer service and lived in the area over 15 yrs, the older couple is a lot more friendlier but the younger guy has no customer service-today you lost a customer!!
