We finally found a Chinese restaurant we like in PHX. Im a difficult customer, because I have lots of allergies and am vegan. The first question our waitress asked was if any of us were vegan or had allergies. Even if the food was horrible, they had me for life with that one question. However, the steamed vegetables they brought me were done to perfection. Usually, a plate of steamed vegetables is a pile of onions and a token piece of broccoli--not here. I was served a variety of 6 different veggies. The portion was so generous, I took half home. My son, mother, and step-father all LOVED their non-vegan choices with my mother taking their offer of the chefs surprise special of the day. Three days later, I went back with my husband, 2 sons, and DIL for an equally delightful and delicious spread. To top it off, the prices are more than reasonable. In fact, Id say they are on the low side. Finally, the place was clean and friendly.

I used to frequent king wah when I moved here in 97, I loved this place.. I moved some 50 miles away and this was still my place of choice. I would never drive ohio the area without eating here.. I am saad to say that I now live in the area again and have found that king wah had changed hands. Just not the same... The food was okay at best.. Definitely edible, but by no means the place it used to be... Bring back the old king wah! Or lead me to their new location.. (In all fairness, I have to say that other patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves...)

This place was pathetic I do not recommend it. I had fried rice that was plain nothing came in it sesame chicken this combo came with a spring roll (not an egg roll )and one crab puff. This came up to about $9 and change, I knew that Price was to good to be true. I picked up my order. The food wasnt hot but warm, no flavor Id never seen sesame chicken so pale. The crab puff was the only decent thing. I have no idea how the rating is so high. That just shows the rating mean nothing because they sure were very inaccurate in this case.

Omgosh...fabulous! This will be my #1 Chinese place! My sister and i ordered delivery from here one night, was told it may take up to 45 mins because they were really busy, we had no problem with that. Our food ended up arriving in 20-25 mins which was awesome timing! My girlfriend and i decided to try it again since my experience was amazing. This time i went and picked it up which only took 15 mins. All i can say is the food is outrageously scrumptious! Will not be going anywhere else but to King Wah Express!!!! 04/18/15

I ordered Kung Pao chicken with Lo Mein, and for my wife Shrimp and Broccoli with steamed rice. When I got I opened the bag, and everything smelled burnt. My Kung Pao had no flavor nor did my Lo Mein noodles. My wife got home got home with a plate fixed for her. Well she is now not feeling well after eating her Shrimp and Broccoli which smelled like it was cooked with Barbecue which would mean cross contamination of meats.

This place is disgusting. I figured since they had 4 stars that they would be at least decent. The chicken barely had any sauce on it and was flavorless and the rice was so disgusting and bland. No flavor to this food whatsoever. I guess I shouldve known since the prices were low. They gave me a lot of wasted food. I will never eat here again. Dont let the prices fool you. Go else where.

I came here with my parents for dinner. Dont let the outside of this place fool you. The food is great and huge portions. We did the regular dinner, but the next table over was doing the Hong Kong Style, which looked like a "family style" kind of thing where everyone shares one large dinner. I only wished I lived closer so I could go here more often!

Always good there with comfy booths for small groups and lazy susans on a round table for bigger gatherings. We were able to request special meatless options for our vegetarian friends. Brought my Fiance and his family there, they were so impressed with the fried rice, beef chow fun and walnut shrimp dishes. Win!

I ordered sesame chicken combo (i called and specifically asked and they said it came with fried rice and an egg roll.) and house lo mein and i only received a box of chicken WITH NO sesame seeds and a thing of white rice. ??????? The chicken was very fatty and full of oil. Never again ordering.

It wasnt all that great to me..I ordered Orange chicken and the souce was a thick paste and no mild favor like any other Orange chicken ..so I best go back to the one on Dunlap and 43rd by circle k, golden Dragon. I ordered from here because they delivered ...good luck ..

Great food and large portions. Fast setvice. Was a little "hole in the wall" that was mainly a take out place. But recently remodeled so should be better. One of our fav Chinese food places in valley. $20 gets us 2 entrees, drinks, and includes tip.

This food was terrible, canned peas in the tasteless hot and sour soup and the teriyaki chicken tasted like it came out of one of those $1.00 Michelinas TV dinner boxes. Truly horrible experience, not worth the money, never going back. :-(

Me and my husband went for the first time and it was awful. Service was very bad. I had to get up and ask for more tea. On the way back to my seat i notice bug repelent little boxes on the floor. I am sorry. I will not go back again.

I love this Chinese restaurant. My family order hot and sour soup,walnut shrimp, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and house chow mein. All is wonderful and we had very good services. So l need to give them 5 START
