BEWARE! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My wife went inside, and loved the lay-out. We sat at the bar area, ordered and ate Spring Rolls while waited for our Sweet & Sour Chicken (MY ORDER TO GO) and Hibachi Chicken (MY WIFES ORDER TO GO) When we arrived back at the hotel, we realized we had NO SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE!!! How can you have an order of Sweet & Sour Chicken, with no sauce??? --Now, when two people are eating dinner together and one order is not correct, should the other person eat with-out you? Of course not, so when 1 order is wrong, they are BOTH WRONG! I called and spoke with the manager, and he offered to give me the Sweet & Sour Sauce. REALLY??? If you know the area, picture this: We are staying at the La Quinta Inn by the hospital, takes about 8-10 minutes to get there from here. We arrived back at the hotel at 9:30, got in the room and set up dinner about 9:40, realized it was wrong and called the manager...If I went back to get SAUCE, then back to my room, I would be eating about 10;15 pm...almost 45 minutes after my food was cooked. REALLY??? So I just brough all the food back to the manager, and told him we would try it again sometime in the future. THIS IS WHERE THINGS THAT BAD! After he has accepted responsibility for the mess up, he refused to give us a refund??? He said he would gladly, an hour later, give us Sauce, but he would not refund the order! However, he could not explain why??? He had no reason, except he would give us Sauce...Understand, this was after he already took the food back and trashed it. I had to call Chase bank in the morning to cancel the whole transaction! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

This was my favorite place to go with friends but after a disgusting visit with my boyfriend we will not be returning. We were told a 30 minuet wait but but it ended up being an hour an a half wait and finally when we were seated we were handed menus and took the waitress another 20 minuets to even take out drink order and another 20 to get our drinks then we received our silver ware my boyfriend had found blood on the napkin which is absolutely unacceptable after telling our waitress she told us our meal would be on the house because of the terrible thing but when receiving the check only one of our meals were paid for and when requesting to talk to the manager he said he was "busy" but i saw him standing watching one of the games on the tv. Then after paying for the meal i went into the bathroom and found myself walking in a half an inch of mud. over all the bathroom was disgusting and then when leaving the bathroom i walked past a cart that had old food that smelled terrible and flies all over it. I called the Manager the next day and after telling him all of the things that went wrong including the bloody napkin all he had to say back was "sorry you feel that way" and had such a terrible attitude. After talking with many former employees they did in fact confirm that there are rats and cockroaches that are in the restaurant. After having such a truly terrible experience and doing further research into the place i am no longer a regular customer and advise anybody who cares for the cleanliness of their food to not go here. Not safe and not a welcoming place. I reported them to the health department and hopefully they take action.

I am a sushi fanatic. Ive had sushi everywhere I go, Corpus Christ to Waco, Boston, Rhode Island, kentucky, Ireland, England, and even France. As a student in Waco, I find myself going to all the local sushi bars, and have been for the past 3 and a half years. Out of all of the sushi places I have ever eaten, the best was in Vegas, second was in England, and third was Fuji. Why is this? Because you will rarely find a chef with as much experience and passion for the craft. As far as waiters and waitresses go, I would say, they are usually very good. Having been a regular for over three years you see many come and go, and to be quite honest Ive seen many good ones leave, but even now I still go. I could rattle on for days about the complexity of the chefs cuts, but really you people probably dont care about that. To be honest if you want something hip and new, or something cheap and in high quantity, go to waco roll. Fuji practices the art of sushi the way it was meant to be used by people who actually really care about doing their best. If you want to have some of the best sushi around, and dont mind it being traditionally made, come by. Youll probably see me there

I would give more stars because the sushi here is AMAZING!! But...the service was horrible. This trip was the third time Ive been where we were not greeted by a hostess, there was not a clean spot at the bar and we sat for 10 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us and asked the bus boy to clean the bar. He did spot clean where we sat but the rest of the bar remained dirty the entire time we were there. The restaurant was not even busy this night but we only saw our waitress when she took our order, refilled my water once and for the check. The bowl my miso soup came in had crusted food on it, not to mention we had to grab our utensils from a nearby spot that nobody used... The only reason I like this place is because of the sushi, but the fact that the staff and management cant get their act together makes me want to not go back. The sushi chefs here should quit and pursue better opportunities than the Waco Fuji.

Went there under customer recommendations while I was at work, wanted to try it so bad for my birthday and wanted my mom to take me there. I didnt expect a whole lot from the restaurant, just a nice meal and some sake but am I glad that I chose the hibachi grill. Floor was slick from grease, only complaint but not that bad. Chef was very professional, put on a good show for us, and made my birthday feel special, he flicked rice balls into everyones mouth and just gave us a wonderful time alongside with table humor asking me if I worked at Sea World because I caught rice balls flawlessly. Food was great, the flavor wasnt as bad as others would say, if it wasnt flavored enough, you had sauce available to use. Sushi was also good, on a scale from 1 to 10.....its an easy 15 because of how impressive my experience was here. Absolutely loved it, perfect for any occasion.

Arrived at 6:35, had to wait 10 minutes to sit- which was not bad. Once we were seated, we were asked to move because they told us that hibachi was out of service for the night. As we are moving from one grill to another, the servers began seating the grill we were just told was out of service. Once we sat at the new grill the waiter apologized for the move and proceeded to take our drink and dinner order. Brought soup and salad which wasnt as good as it has been before. Ordered a Waco roll and that even tasted bad - not as good as before. During this time they finished filling the grill, waiter said the show was about to start. After that never saw him again and the show never started we sat for 30 minutes before becoming so frustrated with the horrible service we walked out. Time when leaving at 7:39. This place will never see me in there again!
