Go to celebrate some birthday with a party of 11. The waitress spilled hot soup and water on 2 of our guests. The soup burned one guests arm to where it was clearly red. The other on got a lap full of soup and ice water. Manager finally came out to what happened and apologized. Later we had an issue with some sushi another guest had ordered. She was expecting and could not eat raw sushi, menu said cooked but clearly wasnt. Manager argued with her about it then took it away, and said Im not mad at you. Bill comes both meals for the guest that were burned still on Bill. Asked the manager about it and starts arguing with me very loudly that it was an accident, and could not give their meals away for free, that the waitress felt bad, but it happens all the time. Their meals were only 15 dollars each. He decided after much conversation that he could only take 20 off. Lost 11 peoples business off of $10 and a poor decision on his part. No wonder it was dead on a Saturday night.

My wife and I eat sushi as often as possible. We usually choose Sushi Niko or Okura. However, due to our residence being in Yukon, we will occasionally choose to order take out from Shiki. The sushi is ok. The other two are quite a bit better. I just tried to order take out and I was told that they were just too busy to take any to go orders. I asked to speak with a manager. Having worked in a restuarant all through college I know that the staff will sometimes make comments that are not a reflection of the management. Thinking the manager would clear things up, he got on the phone only to reassure me of the incopentence of the staff, stating "Yeah, we arent going to be taking to go orders we are really busy and just dont have time to deal with it!" Thanks for clearing that up Mr. Manager. I will be spending my money elsewhere.

I went there today and ordered off of the lunch menu. We ordered an appetizer and then the main dish. The restaurant wasnt crowded yet it took 35 minutes to get our food. When it did the appetizer came out with one of the main dishes and the other dish didnt come until 10 minutes later and even then didnt get the order right. The service was poor as our waiter ignored us and didnt check on us one time. The food is ok but overpriced for what it is. Then the waiter told us he wouldnt charge for a salad that was already included on the lunch special. The salad itself was soaked in dressing. Several tables that were seated after us got their food on time. If you go dont order anything they have to prepare in the kitchen. We went one time before and enjoyed the food but this time was very disappointing.

I have ordered lunch from this place more than once (as i work at a neighboring business.) has always been a positive experience. Until today. Today after i picked up lunch for myself and co-workers, i watched a baby cockroach crawl out of a food container. Heres the problem, when i called to let management know, they said they havent had cockroaches in a while. Really?! problem gets deeper when i ask for a refund (i dont think that is an unreasonable request.) manager says he wont refund my money. I let him know ill be reporting their business and he replied with "please do." what a disapointment. Will never spend another cent in this place.

I was in town for work and was thrilled to see a Japanese restaurant around the corner from my hotel. I had dreams of spending my entire work trip eating sushi every day. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. For the price, the chirashi did not offer anything special in terms of quantity or quality (chirashi is my "usual" order at any sushi restaurant). The fish didnt seem fresh, they forgot to give me any soy sauce with my order, and the Philly roll was the blandest I have ever encountered--complete with heavily oxidized avocado that made me question if I should keep eating. Sorry Shiki. I couldnt bring myself to go back again.

What a disappointment, the chef did the absolute minimum required which is cook the food, tricks with the utensils at the beginning, and flaming onion. The manager said thats all he had to do and next time to request a better chef (maybe one that does more tricks or is funny). He had no problem that we received the absolute minimal service. They were out of the yummy yummy sauce (and didnt make more). This was super disappointing and definitely the worst habachi Ive been to. We went on a Saturday around 8 pm and the place was dead.

I eat Japanese food and sushi quite often, and for the price and atmosphere, there are many better places in the ok area. I ordered a hibachi steak and shrimp with a spicy roll for an app. Sushi was good and well presented, but my ny strip was served cubed and was not medium as I had ordered. Not the end of the world, but it was also bland and under seasoned. Not what I expected or usually get at less expensive restaurants. I will say that the service I received was good and expedient.

My husband and I had dinner last Friday evening at the location on May. It was a wonderful experience and the ambiance was great. Very child friendly and extremely comfortable. We both had steak; his with chicken. I also had tempura shrimp sushi with cream cheese and delicious spicy mayo. Everything was fresh and the Hibachi presentation took us around the world. We enjoyed date night even more thanks to Shiki Japan and we will be back...

Shiki is the best sushi/hibachi in OKC. My husband and I really enjoy the hospitable wait staff and the fast, precise service. The sushi is excellent and the hibachi is a great show! The price is very good... as expected hibachi will be more expensive than just sushi. Sushi fish is very fresh, unlike some places I have been. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

SLOW/POOR service, good sushi. Ultimately I ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for an order (two rolls) Id called in before arrival. Another woman enters with a MASSIVE order (they had to help her out to her car). A blunder from the host rings her before me, but no one bothers to catch this until after the fact. I will not be returning--maybe others will have better luck.

10 out of 5 will do every time! This place, man, you know how when you move away from home and you start thinking about how good your moms cooking is and you go home and she is a world class chef? This place is amazing, great cooks, great staff and amazing serving sizes! I always end up with a take home box. Just stop reading and go get some already!

My wife and I went and had our anniversary dinner here. The atmosphere was upbeat, the wait staff was engaging and a bit "snarky" (which I personally enjoy). Our cook put in a good show, and the food was absolutely delicious. The prices were comparable to other hibachi places Ive been to. Will definitely go back.

The service is excellent and the Sushi chef not only speaks clear English but wraps a mean "Cowboy" I showed up 20 minutes before close and still got great service and great tasting sushi. I will soon be back for the hibachi. I am pretty confident if it is like the sushi it will be great too.
