Saturday night (26Aug2017) was my wifes birthday. I planned to surprise her with our kids at 5 Palms restaurant in Tucson. We have been there before and it was nice. We arrived and sat on the 2nd floor patio with a beautiful view of surroundings for a drink. A table was booked for fine dining downstairs. This is where it started. The waiter took about 30minutes to bring us a drink menu. He never come back to take the order. Other customers around were waiting as well and left, probably for another place. There was only one waiter, but this was not crowded (I wander for a Saturday night!). I went to the bar to order myself. I never saw any drinks. After ~1hr sitting there, we decided to go down for dinner when I talked to another waiter expressing our disappointment. I was embarrassed for my wife. I wanted to have a perfect event. He took our order and brought the drinks with no time to our table. The setting is really nice, cozy and dim light. Again I was surprise to not see more guests. We ordered our dinner and I asked to taste a wine (served by the glass). Surprise, this was...vinegar. By vinegar I do not mean bad wine, but vinegar to make salad. I thought I was under a joke. In 40 years I am enjoying fine dining restaurant, it never happened. I wander how they keep the wine, despite of large displays of bottles, and the food. Finally we picked a wine after the waiter changed my glass. We had our dinner, it was ok. The restaurant did not charge us for the drink and for the wine. The worse is coming. The following night I had horrible stomach cramps and nausea. This last 2 days long, cannot eat, keep close to the bathroom. I diagnosed...food poisoning. The Monday, I could not go to work. The other family members are still feeling uncomfortable (we shared our dishes). Well, guess what, I will NEVER return to this place and obviously do not recommend it. This is my worst experience at $250 in a fine dining restaurant.

Took my wife up for our anniversary and we absolutely loved this place. Beautiful and charming. The wait staff were all very attentive and professional and the food was delicious. We had always gone to Anthonys in the past but now I think we have a new spot to celebrate at or just to catch a great meal. When we were leaving we met the owner and he invited us to have a drink with him at the bar. After meeting Nino I understand why his restaurant is great, he really cares about peoples experience and the food he is serving. I have recommended this place to all our friends and will continue to do so! Thanks Nino and Staff for a wonderful time and for help making our anniversary special!

Had lunch here today and it lived up to the hype. We decided to share a few appetizers before our meal. We ordered the ceviche, oyster parmesan and spicy tuna rolls to start. My favorite was the ceviche. The appetizers where flavorful and light. Perfect amount to not ruin our lunch. For our main entree I did the Colorado Lamb Burger and my friend ordered a chicken salad. Burger was delicious and cooked just right. My friend enjoyed her salad. Our waiter was prompt and service over all was good. We both enjoyed our meal and enjoyed the view and still good weather. Will definitely be back to try dinner.

This was such a nice evening - we had great service and loved our food, except were disappointed in the taste of the bread brought prior to our meal. It looked SO good, and we couldnt wait to dig in; but it had very little taste and wasnt worth the calories to even eat it. I would have given 5 stars if the bread had been tasty! My Chilean Sea Bass was EXCELLENT! My husband had a rib eye steak and it was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. We plan to go back and check out appetizers upstairs at Olivias where there is outdoor seating and a great view. Also - the house Cabernet was really good!

Good entertainment but food was mediocre. I feel that when you are going to drop almost $200 (including drinks and tips) a restaurant, you should get a little more than a wedge of iceberg lettuce with some dressing drizzled on it and a tapas size serving of chicken and mashed potatos, and it should be hot, not just warm (and you should at least get to pick your entree). The dessert was spectacular. I Service was great and the show was quite entertaining. Over all it was an enjoyable evening, but doubt we would go again.

Little or no attention to detail. Food was average the manager spent the whole time moving tables for a salsa dance event that was happening g at 9 pm. ,instead of helping his server who was in the weeds. The couple across from us got up and left. The only attentive one or only one who seemed concerned was our busser.

We had dinner reservations for 2weeks. Showed up at three time and has to wait for 30 minutes which was fine. When we were seated we waited 30 more minutes to be served. Still no service. We ended up leaving. A friend of the owner made the reservations personally and this is what happened. Very disappointing.

Not worth even one star, I had to give them one star to get out of this app. Went to see the murder mystery show and the room was a horrible 93 degrees. So we moved to the bar and after about 40 minutes we were told that our order of appetizers was never put in. That was it we left, wont be back.

If you dine here make sure you take cash to tip your server as they will not see their money for a month or more! Especially if you are part of a special event or banquet in one of the private rooms! Turnover is high because of this. If you are looking for work STAY AWAY!

Jazz band on Sundays at 7p are soothing to the soul, the happy hour selection is unmatched and love the sunset and mountain views, Tango lessons on Thursday night, 80s music live on Saturday, Live piano bar on Fri-Sun 5:30p-8:30p, one of my fave places to unwind

Fantastic views, fantastic food and super friendly and accomodating staff. I like that they offer several dining options. We just did appetizers and drinks in the upstairs bar, but I look forward to going back for the whole fine dining experience.

Was looking for a new place that would have good surf and turf and this is the spot. Made the wife happy with the seafood selection and I enjoyed my ribeye. Looking forward to our next visit.

Ordered the Cobb Salad which was loaded with Blue Cheese, eggs, bacon, tomatoes and topped with an ample amount of avocado. Not enough dressing and salad was messy to eat.
