We came down from Lexington,Texas for Vacation. We ate here tonight. It was my first time to ever eat at these restaurants. And my daughters second time. The food was awesome. And plenty of it.. We left beyond full all 4 of us. Highly recommend the chicken basket with chesee fries.. and the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Also the fried pickles, and the fried onion ring strips. Tea was great also. What really amazed me was the waitress at this location. Her name was Genesis. And she was spot on. We never had to ask for anything. She was on top of it. Havent seen a waitress of her caliber in a very long time.. Good Job Cotton Patch in Tyler, Texas. Thank you for a very enjoyable night... The Mayeuxs.

We often eat here on Sunday and like the restaurant. Unfortunately, our last visit did not go well. The tortilla soup arrived cold. The chicken and dumplings were cold and undercooked. We did not complain. We just decided to not eat the food. When the waiter picked up our food he did not ask why. After paying and tipping we decided to inform the manager so they could correct the problem for other patrons. The mangers only response, " Ill tell them in the back". He then just stood and looked at me. I said thank you and left. Cold and undercooked food combined with a manger who has no people skills does not compel me to return.

Been eating at Cotton patch in Texas for as long as they have been doing business here. Had been eating at the one in Tyler TX 2 to 3 times a week and then suddenly their service just went to pot. Friends that I was taking said the food was not that good and then today was the capper. Asked for cornbread when she brought our drinks and rolls. 45 minutes later still had not gotten any cornbread and then got the song and dance routine about why we never got them... .very very disappointed in Cotton patch. They ever let a solicitor in about a month back to go table to table for money donations.

Let me tell you that everything I tasted there was fresh, refreshing, and delightful. I had the Super Combo Fish & Shrimp........YUMMY! The fish was light and flakey and the shrimp was tender. I do not usually like the batter on most fish and shrimp but this was awesome. My Husband had the Steak and Shrimp which melted in your mouth, especially with the butter sauce...Mmmmmmm. What really got me was the Salsa and Queso with crunchy, thin, delicious chips. Best Salsa & Queso I have tasted in Tyler. If you havent tried it you are missing out on something special.

I wanted to take this time and say Logan went above and beyond to make our experience a great one! We ladies came for lunch and wanted to take the husbands home the beef tips and rice special, but you guys ran out, so we got roast beef and rice. Logan was wonderful, and couldnt be nicer. Im visiting from New Castle DE. And I will definitely come back! This was my first time in your restaurant, and I will definitely be back soon!!! Thank you!! Our waitress Hailey B was also very nice and very attentive!!!

Where to start.... The male greeter: no personality, no smile, nothing...just going through the motions. Waitress: missing most of the time, had to ask others for drink refills... Did get to see my waitress pour a tray full of drinks in a guests lap...and then leave. Finally back with some napkins after about 8 minutes...the manager never visited with the poor folks... However, the food was good...

Excellent food and service. If you like chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken this is the place. Be prepared because the chicken fried steak is huge, so you better be hungry and it is delicious. Try the cheese fries for an appetizer. And the service is great, try their banana pudding.

Excellent food and service like always at Cotton Patch. Visited after the store was remodeled and it looks great. Service was excellent and very friendly. Parking is a little tight but found a spot behind the restaraunt. Will definitely visit again the next time I am in town!

I like cotton patch food. I enjoy eating there. However if you want to meet some handicap retard stoner kids with down syndrom that dont give a damn about your order then just call in a to go order. Consider yourself lucky if they dont fart on your food!
