Great quality seafood for north Texas. I had the combo plate with fried shrimp, oysters and crawfish. My only complaint would be that I prefer the fried crawfish to be spicy, these were not. The oysters and shrimp were both very good. Also tried the wonton shrimp appetizer, and it was excellent. Happy Hour frozen margaritas were $2.50, which is a very good price, and they were quite good. Atmosphere was nice with a lot of fish themed metal work, and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive, although they did look a little overworked. Samuel F was our waiter and he was very nice. Prices are a little high, but the quality was good, my bill came to $28.04 for the combo plate, appetizer and tax. I would recommend this place.

My family has been several times over the last few years and it is good food with the prices just a little above Road House fare. Service is really hit or miss. If you see the parking lot more than half full, I advise you to steer clear as this has been an indicator of bad service and ridiculous wait times for us. On a Mothers Day we sat for an hour and a half to receive our food and then another 30 minutes to get our silverware after that. All in all we do continue to return during for the great steaks, shrimp brioche, and fried pickles. The crawfish chowder is worth trying!

My family and I truly enjoyed our recent dinner at Clear Springs! The fried catfish was amazing and perfectly seasoned. My son ordered the cowboy portion of chicken fried steak and it was as big as the cow it came from. The portions are generous, prices fair, friendly staff, especially our server Sarah, and the service was prompt. After having a burger earlier in the day from down the road for too much "moolah" that was a definite "NOT do-over," Clear Springs is a DEFINITE "DO-OVER!!"

Great food and service. Ashley our waitress was very patient with me since I had never been there before and couldnt deside what I wanted. Shrimp wonton were amazing, never had anything like it. I had the little buddy and it was still too much food but very delicious. My boyfriend had the steak and he loved it.we are from the coast about 6hrs away,we are only in town for a day would definitely come back next time Im here.

The food was great, as well as our waitress but one of the hostess was rude. She offered us a table or booth, as she was talking she pointed over at the booth and I agreed to the booth, well instead of taking us to our seat, she says, "oh, you can go sit down" ....so I asked, "do we get any silverware???" and the other lady (hostess) standing near by, Got our silverware and lead us to our table.

I have eaten here quit a bit at this point and I do like it. The catfish is good, as well as, the fried shrimp. The exceptional dish is the shrimp brochete. Its grilled shrim wrapped in bacon with a jalapeno in the middle. For appetizers, the cup of Jalapeno Crawfish Chowder is the best chowder I have ever eaten. All in all, Clear Springs is good, not great, but really good.

The food was amazing and the service was great! Went here after I asked where the best onion rings were - they did not disappoint. Best onion rings Ive had in a long time! And the prime rib was fantastic. Plus, generous portion sizes even with the side dishes. Easily 5 stars for me and I look forward to returning.

Yes yes yes! Loved everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere, food, service, and prices were all amazing. The food was hot and fresh and the portions were good. My family had a great time, especially with our server, Josh. He was great and so welcoming. We will definitely be back!

For it being my first time to have been here I enjoyed the atmosphere, felt very comfortable and that is hard to find in some places. The people were great and very nice. I would highly recommend going here due to the good service and of course the great variety of food that they serve.

This restaurant has the best service in Tyler. Awesome food. My husband and I get the small catfish plate and it is to die for. The beans are so awesome. I just wish that they would put a bowl of beans in the menu and put some hushpuppies with it . I would totally order that. Yum.

INCREDIBLE!!!! All of the food is served in generous portion sizes and is clearly fresh and scrumptious! I have not had anything I do not like and would recommend the Chicken fried steak, fried catfish, onion rings and Key Lime pie! You cannot go wrong with Clear Springs Cafe!!

Took an hour to get our food dont go here unless you got a couple hours to spare. Ordered the grilled chicken salad. It wasnt very good. Chick-fil-A has a better salad. Guess I should have gotten the fish. The rest of the group said their food was amazing. They got the fish.

Very good catfish! Great cheese dip and chips!! Their keylime pie is incredible!!! They have a seniors catfish plate that is not listed on the menu, but is just the right size and price, just ask for it. Fried mushrooms and fried string onions are to die for.

Great service. We went early afternoon and the place was quiet. Catfish and shrimp was a good choice. We had the jalapeño stingers for an Appetizer. Not too spicy and really good. This was our first time and well come back when we are in the area.

The food here has always been great this is my go to place when I am in Tyler! I have always had a great time & would recommend it to anyone who hasnt been here before or anyone who has & just forgot about it although I would think it highly unlikely!

The Texas size chicken fried steak is large enough for two people. The batter was crunchy and very good. Also the large onion rings is actually a pile of crispy onion rings stacked over a foot high. Always a good meal here.
