This place has the rudest hostesses Ive ever witnessed in a functioning business. Their rudeness has been on my mind a lot lately as we usually order carryout from here at least 2-3 times a month. Today on this particular occasion, I called to place the order and mentioned at least 10 times that refried beans were not to be anywhere in either meal (fajita chicken chimichanga or carne guisada). I specified it directly for the chimichanga because I know they put refried beans inside of the chimi. Hostess said okay, repeated order back to me, and quoted us ten minutes. Husband leaves to pick it up. Gets there 15 minutes after the call. Food is not ready. To make matters worse, hostess is rude. When he arrives, no one is at the hostess stand so he takes a seat. Hostess comes back from wherever and begins to organize menus and after a few beats casually looks up and says "yes?" to my husband, as in "what in the heck are you doing just sitting there?" I hadnt even mentioned my poor perception of the Las Cascadas hostesses and I get a text from him saying, "Rudest hostess ever. Someone needs to take her cockiness down a level." He gets home with the food. Everything looks fine until he cuts into his chimichanga. SURPRISE! There are refried beans in the chimichanga. At this point, Im incredibly upset, as we drive 15 minutes to get to this location and theyve messed up the order. So, I call. The hostess who originally took our order answers the phone and swears up and down that she made the plates and there are not any refried beans anywhere on either plate. I tell her Im looking straight at refried beans in the chimichanga and she tells me they dont even put refried beans in the chimichanga. Then she tells me to hold on- at this point in time she very poorly covers the phone and proceeds to tell another woman that I placed my order earlier and told her 10 times that beans couldnt be on the plate and now Im home and Im saying there are beans on the plate but thats not possible because she put the plates together and saw no beans. She then proceeded to tell the other person to take the call because she couldnt "handle me." Please note, I was not rude at this point in time. The other person then gets on the phone, I explain the situation. She says the hostess who made the plates insists there are no beans. I say "Im staring at beans, Im fairly sure I know what beans look like." She tells me to drive back and shell make another chimichanga plate. I say no, I live 15 minutes away, she can deliver it or refund the order. She then VERY RUDELY said, well only refund the chimichanga. I replied, "I didnt ask you to refund anything else." At that point in time, I hung up. I couldnt believe both hostesses or hostess + manager were so completely rude. Long story short- fairly good food with a healthy side of hostess attitude. Not worth it in my opinion.

I asked thee host if it was really mexican food. He said it was Tex-Mex. :( Prompt service. Menu had usual mix of tacos, burritos, fajitas and enchiladas; nothing unique. Store bought chips. Roasted salsa and tomatillo served cold. Carne guisada had great flavor/seasoning but the meat was tough and needed to be cooked longer or cut into smaller pieces. Lunch plate had almost a pound of meat on it. Way too much. Beans and rice tasted great! Store bought tortillas too :( Pico de gallo was flimsy and mostly tomato. Atmosphere could use some excitement and lighting too. Not impressed. I dont see myself returning.

We come every weekend and its my favorite Mexican restaurant. Service is always fast and friendly. Prices are great and the food always comes fast ,hot,and tastes great. The service is the best I ever had eating out. Ive never been to a place over n over n experienced a great service each time. Its packed now and when I saw how fast my family and another group of 5 were seated I finally decided I should write a review:)...2016 still the best.

I ate here yesterday, ordered the shish-ka-bob and the food is just magnificent. Chargrilled steak, onions, large chunks of tomato, mushrooms, and mild peppers. The plate was just right. And it came with guacamole, pico de gallo, and charro beans. Everytime I come here I am thrilled again by the wonderful food, friendly service. It is very pleasantly simple inside, I love the booths.

Las Cascades is a decidedly unpretentious restaurant, devoid of any charm. Offering Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices, the food is good, and the service is attentive and friendly. I do not recommend Las Cascades if you are looking to throw back a few margaritas - they make the worst margaritas Ive ever had (and Ive encountered some bad margaritas!).

I dont know what was "Rains" problem but this place was fantastic, a busy Friday, but service was still perfect, and i waited/bartended for over a decade, so im very picky. Food was fantastic and the order came out just right. 5 stars, go check it out!

First time customer and service was great. Sweet tea was actually sweet. Chips and queso were fresh. Food was delicious and for a Friday night we were seated quickly as it looked pretty busy from the outside. We will go back and try again

Awesome!!! We visit 3 or more times a day sometimes when we have nothing else to do. The guys are fantastic with kids! The drinks are strong and the food is the perfect match! The waiter are very nice and you can SMOKE in the bar!!!

Very good mexican food. A hidden gem in Spring. Did not expect restaurant to be so big from the inside. Kids menu was great. Do not like eating Mexican food, but would definitely recommend this place if in the mood to eat Mexican.

Great place. Have been eating there at least once a week since they opened. Food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Factor in even better lunch speacials and you have a great mexican food place to eat.

Oh my goodness. Amazing flavor, very congenial waiter/waitresses and the prices are more than fair. Must stop in and try it for yourself. Looks like the margaritas are good to, everyone has one.

Update: Going through my expenses today I compared my recite to Las Cascadas charge and discovered the bartender doubled my original tip. In other-words, he stole money from a customer.
