My husband and I planned on renting jet skis for the 4th of July and decided to take our business to Coconuts, like we have done for years. We approached a woman behind the bar to arrange the rental and she was curt in her responses and behavior. We later made a request to the woman of passing our jet ski slot to the peron after us to wait for others to join us but she was unwilling to be accommadating and again was very rude. After the jet ski experience which was nice, partly because the gentleman giving instruction was very jovial and allowed us to forget the rude person behind the bar, we decided to order some food. The two baskets of coconut shrimp and chicken (not very good) was now taking close to an hour to get to us so we decided to inquire on how much longer the order was going to take. We gestured the woman that was looking straight at us behind the bar to inquire of the order and she very rudely turned around to grab her cigarette to take a few puffs. An exchange of words occured that could have been prevented if she had only been somewhat nice that I will not go into. Apparently, this was the owner of Coconuts that does not like to cater or accomadate the people that visit her establishment. We viewed how she was with other patrons and we could not understand why someone whould get into the catering business and not want to cater. My family and I had been at this establishment for 15 years and we are sad to say that we will never be going back. So if you ever think of visiting this place consider another.

My wife and I ate here for lunch on Wednesday. The bartender was super friendly and nicely talkative. But I am not just rating the bartender, unfortunately for Coconuts. The lady running the water sports was not. She had that Im a local so piss off attitude which is prominent in these touristy type places. 10 bucks for a burger and fries, burger was okay, fries were those frozen by the bag type that even McDonalds wont use. Besides the hateful second in the area, 3 bucks for a water is insane. I understand with a packed bar a bunch of spring breakers partying at 1am, they is okay. But I see why my wife and I were the only ones at the place during lunch on one of the first warm days in the area in a while. Sorry to say it guys but your location doesnt justify coming here again. And as we are new locals, we are sure to warn everyone off.

This is a great place to relax and eat. The fact that its right by the water is awesome, you can smell the sea breeze while you relax in the chill environment. The burgers are excellent and the menu is small, just the way a bar & grill should have it. I recommend the Jerk Burger because it has a delicious seasoning to it and the also add it to the homeade fries. I didnt catch the name of the lady and gentlemen working the early afternoon I was there, but they were really friendly and helpful. They took the time to talk to us about fishing, the history of the restaurant, and other things. I highly recommend this place for a quick homemade bite to eat.

Our waitress neglected to put our order in. When we saw that other tables had already received their food, and they had ordered after us, I went to check on our food order up at the bar. Our order was never turned in. A 45 minute wait for hamburgers is not acceptable. The food prices are the "draw" to get people in. Happy hour until 6pm is a joke. Canned beer only, no tap, at $3.50, mixed drinks, outrageously priced for the island. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO SMILES ON THE EMPLOYEES FACES. Bad atmosphere.

Great view, questionable bartender, upstairs is "too dangerous"? We questioned why a bar with such great view had parking to spare. It was evident when the bartender "greeted" us by telling us everything she was expecting us to do wrong. No service upstairs and it is too dangerous. There was a kind gentleman, but he couldnt make up for her. Not sure his role, maybe just an awesome local. To add to the frustration, the bartender messed up our drink order, and we didnt want to question her. We will be moving on.

After doing a pretty lackluster pubcrawl, my girlfriend and I managed to walk into this place as it is next door to Louies and we sat right at the bar and listened to some decent electronica all night. The bartenders that were serving that night were a boyfriend and girlfriend duo who made drinks quickly and had great personalities. We will definitely be frequenting this spot come summer time to have great drinks at low prices and listen to awesome music!

I moved to the island 2 years ago. I decided to check out Coconuts. BIG mistake. I was told they have the best banana daiquiris. First the price was outragous! I was told the bananas here are expensive. LIE! Nastiest thing to ever cross my lips. I drank 1/4 of it and went to the ladies room to puke it up. I proceeded to throw the rest in the trash. Then I went to Walmart where I took a picture of the 48 cents a pound bananas. This place is a rip off.

We enjoyed Coconuts Bar & Grill. The staff was great and accomodating (we brought our two small children). After over a week on the island with no babysitter we had to get out and mingle. We had a really nice time. The bacon made it that much better. If youre looking for a nice warm sunny view, cute bartenders, great music, affordable happy hour, and BACON... this is the place. See you soon!

We were the only people there besides a couple people having drinks and it took 15 minutes for them to take our orders. Then over 30 minutes went by when a different waiter came to ask us if we still wanted to eat because they forgot to cook our food and it would be another 15 min if we didnt mind waiting. They make more renting the jet skis $75 for 30 min than serving food/drinks

My wife and I stopped in because we wanted to check out the bay side of the island. We picked the right place! The atmosphere, food, and drinks were Great! I had shrimp, my wife had the jerk chicken club. Our food was so good tasting! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the jet skis take off. We went back the next day for more!

Be careful using your card at this place to pay for jet skis, they will over charge you on purpose. Then will not want to give you a refund. Lady at the front to me she was sorry her boss tells her what to charge. Over charged my card an additional $35 so basically I paid a $110 for 30 minutes.
