The burgers are good and the fries are similar to Five Guys, Wing Stop and other fresh cut peanut oil fries. My complaint is similar to another persons review in that the burgers were child sized and very expensive. I spent almost $30 on just two people. If youre expecting a big burger youll be sorely disappointed. This isnt a place you want to eat at very often because of the high prices. Service was slow as the place was packed like sardines. Youre better off going to Blackbeards and pay a similar price for a much bigger burger. I suggest creating some discount coupons and offer a bigger burger for bigger appetites. I was still hungry when I left and Im an athletic built guy and not an over-eater. The food isnt worth what you pay for, I felt very ripped off. My guess is that they want to appeal to a specific connoisseur type who doesnt mind over-paying for small servings. I dont think they care to compete with the Whataburger and Burger King clientele. People need to walk out when they see expensive menus. This is why prices keep going up because people continue to pay instead of putting their foot down. I wont be going back to burger fi.

Ok... so first off I tip my hat off to the fact that the quality does present itself quite well through the food. I understand the value of the burgers and fries, but OMG The size of the burger. I feel as if the guy with little hands from the Burger King commercial would be satisfied with its size. The price is NOT worth these tiny burgers. Everything is bigger in Texas, except for BurgerFis burgers. Like bro a new born baby wouldnt even be satisfyed with the burger(imagining that they were capable of consuming burgers.) My recommendation: if you are pretentious, like many IG enthusiasts are, and do not care about the size of your wallet than eat at BurgerFi, but if your looking for a good and reasonably priced bite then please do yourself a favor and eat at whataburger. Good quality, cheaper prices, and they dont charge you $30 something dollars for meals. Please....anyone correct me if Im wrong. MERICA!!!!!!

Showed up with my brother and his gf and started ordering and cashier was being kind of a smart***. After ordering, sat down in the patio at the only table which wasnt really clean. Food took about 30 min and we had only ordered 3 burgers, 1 large order of fries and 1 medium. Both order of fries looked exactly the same size and my brother went to counter to tell them but they said those were large and medium. I went up and again and asked them to explain the difference and they couldnt they just said they are what they are (Again being smart). The manager finally shows up and she sees they are the same size and gets me another order. The fries did taste like old frying oil just like the other rating says. Pricey food, small portions, rude employees. Never coming here again, will also stick to wataburger or other burger places on the island. I suggest you do the same.

The positives: lots of fries, drink machine with various options (although Hi-C orange was out). Free refills. Pumping ketchup, mustard, and mayo station. The negatives: small drinking cup, noise level high, chairs uncomfortable, every little food item is charged separately, expensive (I paid $14.51 for a burger, fries, and drink). Burger was small. Took a long time to get a to go order. People were annoying. In summation: Im comparing all burger places to Whataburger because its the most successful burger chain in the valley honestly. There I can get three meals for the price of one burger at Burger-fi. And I am vegan so I honestly dont care about what farm the meat comes from because in the end a helpless cow dies and people eat its carnage. So I wont completely avoid Burger-fi, but it wont be my first pick. Its a nice place for tourists though, I guess.

Im sorry - But this place is overpriced. Ive lived in several metro areas and visited quite a few burger joints so I can compare burger styles (gourmet/non-gmo/healthy/etc.whatever) to others. Once you exclude the fast food chains (whataburger being the best) You look for a good sit down burger - The single patty wasnt even a 1/4 pound..it was squished real thin and $6 bucks plain. You have to go for the double which probably gives you a 1/3 lb. Wasnt impressed with the preparation or presentation. One positive, the onion rings are delicious; however, at $5.00 a side...um not worth it. The drinks are almost $3 bucks. Would not visit again. Single Patty, Double, one small drink, and onion rings $21+. Didnt create a great first impression when you have others in the same field (5 guys, Shake Shack, Rodeo Goat, Mooyah, Twisted Root, P.Terrys etc.).

Expensive and burgers are flavorless. I love a good burger and the taste of seared beef. ButgerFi let me down again. Great dressed up distractions, but if you want to judge a place by its burgers order a plain cheese burger and see if you get that seared beef flavor we carnvoirs crave. Not here. On the plus side they have a half dozen craft beers on draft. Figured it had been a few months and the place is always packed so Id give it another try.....same results. Overpriced, and burger(the actual meat) lacks flavor. A beer, cheeseburger and regular fries comes to $17 and some change. If you want a burger and beer go to South Padre Brewing itll be about the same price, but the burger is better. Sorry, I really do like a good burger, claiming "natural" ingredients is just part of it.

These burgers are really good. But if Im going to be honest, I cant fully recommend going here because of their insane prices. For a double meat burger with fries and a small drink, you will pay 18$-20$. This doesnt even factor in the fact that as a Cameron County local, I have to drive 30 mins to go here. On top of all this, as a local, you have to contend with the army of tourists who push the occupancy of the building to its limits. (To be fair, Whataburger on the island also gets super packed) The parking situation around the building is also a joke, but only when its packed (which is usually every time I go) What I like: Juicy/tasty burgers Fancy coke machines Definitely better burgers than Whataburger What I dont like: Prices are beyond stupid

Husband and I are picky about the quality of the food that we eat and we love this place. The food is high quality for a burger joint. It doesnt taste like deep-fried cardboard. And if you are a vegetarian or not, the veggie burger is the best I have ever had. None of that soy crap. I order it every time even though Im not a vegetarian. The concrete ice cream especially the OMC is a must everytime we come. Normally, I wouldnt talk about a restaurant this much, but my main motivation for wanting to express all this is because an employee there named, Stacey, is absolutely awesome. Always friendly and running the place topnotch. Youre the best, Stacey! :)

Place looks new. Great esthetics with a good concept. However, the food was not as good. I got the lettuce cheese and bacon burger with large fries. My burger was way over cooked. It was super well done, almost burnt. They dont give u a choice on how u want it cooked. My French fries were left in the fryer way too long. My fries were way too crunchy with a taste of old frying oil. My order came in a servingvtray with no platesvor silverware. I had to use a napkin as a player and spread my mayo with a frenchfry. Its a nice new place with a good atmosphere. However, the food might have tasted better if it wasnt over cooked. Id say stick to Whataburger.
