Im not one to be all crazy about spreading the word about gay rights and assuming the worst about peoples opinions, but Ive eaten here quite a bit and never had a problem with service.. When I went with family. When I brought my lesbian friend in and they were extremely rude to us, not attending to us at all as they keot walking past us, then slapping the menus down without saying a word nor did they ever come back to take our order or get anything to drink, everyone just stared at my poor friend. Will never be coming back. (And it was not even busy and several people walked past us with attitude)

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, I understand fresh food takes time to prepare but not 45 minutes of wait time considering the place was not even at capacity. Also unsure of what they consider customer service because the waitress was very rude, also when we finally gave up on waiting, instead of some kind of apology she just sent us our way very rudely. I couldnt tell you if food was as good as they say since it never came. Smh.

We ate here 6 months ago, everything was outstanding! Today however, new faces, same cook it was just ok. I wasnt impressed with the watery oatmeal and very weak coffee. Husband liked #5, but they do not serve decaf, only instant. But since coffee is weak, he ordered a cup. Hmmmm, will we return? Probably give it another chance and hope for a better experience.

No matter the day or time, food has ALWAYS been fantastic! And I love patio, love the option of being able to take my Boston Terrier for a walk to have lunch with me. Not only do I recommend but this is the place I take my out of town family and friends when visiting, and they all have loved it. Charming neighborhood cafe with home cooked food.

Absolutely love this place. Im so glad that I only live a few minutes away because I plan to go back many times! The cooking and atmosphere is the definition of a classic American diner and everyone that works there - including the owner - are incredibly friendly. They are a fantastic addition to the Deco District of San Antonio!

Awesome food, I live pretty close to this place but I only first checked it out a few weeks ago, the chicken and waffles plate is excellent and definitely my favorite. Their cheeseburgers are pretty good too, the patties are thick. The first time we went in they gave us ice water in little mason jars, I thought that was cool.

Service is great- staff is super friendly! My veggie omelette and my husbands croissant sandwich (AND the extra English muffin sandwich he ordered) and hashbrowns were on point! Lets not forget their salsa is delicious!!! Def recommending to others and we will definitely come back!

Small, friendly, old school diner. Limited breakfast menu but cooked really well. I had the breakfast plate, perfect eggs (over easy), nice bacon and good hash browns. Toast could have been a little more toasted but thats just me being English.

Small diner, but reasonable food quality for the price. A good option for quick food in the area, especially since other places like Pancake Joes always have an hour + wait time on the weekends... Good place for both breakfast and lunch!

I highly recommend this place! Never had a bad experience. Omelettes, waffles, pancakes, barbacoa, fresh strawberries, fresh lemonade, homemade salsa. So delicious and very reasonably priced. Wish they had more locations.

I love the diner vibe. Sitting at the countertop and watching your food get cooked right before your eyes is so entertaining. The breakfast is delicious and is always on point. The sweet tea is perfect as well.
