Fried catfish was excellent as were the onion rings. Service at the counter left a lot to be desired. Person taking orders was gruff and hard to understand. And, yes, I was born and raised right here in San Antonio and have lived in Texas all my life, so it wasnt the Texas drawl... He just mumbled and seemed irritated to be taking orders. Needed a personality work over. Surprisingly, even though the name on the place says its for hamburgers, my wifes cheeseburger had very little flavor. I tried the meat and cheese by itself, and found it to have barely any seasoning at all, which left the burger tasting a lot like what you would get from McDonalds! They should at least add a little salt and pepper to their hamburger meat! On the other hand, the breading on the catfish had excellent seasoning! The catfish was fresh, super hot, and delicious... But this is not Texas Catfish Company! Im only giving three stars due to the catfish and onion rings. If all we had ordered was cheeseburgers and fries. This would be a one star review taking into account the attitude of the guy at the cash register taking orders!

I went into the restaurant on September 9th, 2015. It was about 8:10 and they closed at 9:00. We looked at the menu, walked up to the counter, and prepared to order. Nobody acknowledged we were there, but they may not have seen us, so thats no big deal. What was a big deal was that one of the skinnier employees was spraying degreaser into the fryer. He was trying to clean off the side of the fryer which is cool, but instead of spraying degreaser on the rag, he sprayed it directly on to the fryer, and about a third of the stream shot into the fryer. We had to just walk out. Thats a shame since we were really looking forward to trying them. I cannot think about going back until management acknowledges this and retrains their absent-minded employee. Right now if you go, you will likely be getting poisoned with your meal.

Cashier refused to listen to request. They couldnt get it through their tiny brain. Put the bacon on the side... no they charged for extra bacon... on the side lol seriously its hard enough to go out with friends when you choose to be vegetarian. Why cant people just listen? Even if seems ridiculous just ring up what I ask. I am completely aware Im in a burger joint.. with a garden burger that has cheese in the patty... most vegetarians and vegans prefer no cheese.. Why is there cheese in it?? Ill put it on top if I want it.. i love my friends and family enough to eat places that dont accommodate the least you can do is LISTEN....

Unfortunately I have to write a poor review due to my order specifically indicated BACON and NO CHEESE and guess what? Both of my burgers had NO BACON and came w/cheese! My hubby and I were so disappointed. I did not return to get the correct order due to we live a distance from the restaurant. But now I feel disappointed since I was recommending this place to my hubby telling him how good the food was and this is what he got for his first impression. I did place a call to bring this to a managers attention, Luis(manager), all he had to say was "I am sorry".

I was home with a broken foot and order on the phone with Joshua Saturday night. Placed an order for 5 people. My daughter went to pick up the order. When she returned home they cheated us out of 2 fries and 2 drinks. I called and spoke with Joshua, he said the manager Richard had left and I can call back on Sunday or Monday. Called Sunday, no Richard. Called Monday no Richard. Called Wednesday, no Richard. Seems every time I called Richard had just seemed to walk out. Rather just go to Babes down the road next time.

Best burgers in town, Ive been to every other burger joint in town (yes, really), and this is by far the best place to get an all American bacon cheeseburger with fries and a coke. Its a bit of a dive and hard to get in and out of but man is it worth it. The hot dogs they serve are out of this world and the onion rings are amazing. This is the best hidden burger gem ever and worth waiting in line for but the fast service means you never do.

Ive been coming to this restaurant for a while now and not once have I ever had a bad experience! The food is AMAZING, the burgers are huge and their whole menu is appetizing! I would recommend to any meat lovers! After trying this place I never go to whataburger cause they cant even compare! Good prices and delicious food, great family friendly atmosphere. Love that its super close to my area as well!

I have had several meals at this place and have never been disappointed. We have ordered take out and dine in. They serve orders in a timely manner and the food is always hot and fresh. The portions are huge and not any more expensive than a typical fast food joint but the quality is far beyond a fast food place. Cheese fries are awesome, burgers are juicy and the fried mushrooms are amazing!

I was at my doctor office and was told I was in good health, so to celebrate I asked the nurse for a good hamburger place and was sent to Texas Hamburger Company on 9010 Huebner Rd, where I was served a big good tasting burger just like the hamburgers from the 1960. The basket of fries are great too, Five Stars for a Nurse recommended, patient approved good tasting big Hamburger place.

My cousin ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Bacon was inedible, tough, and looked like old leather. No one wants to eat old bacon from the afternoon and try to serve it in the evening. When we pay for something, we expect quality, and this definitely was not acceptable. The burger itself was bland and not worth the price either. Burger King or Whataburger wouldve been a better choice.

Was decent tasted homemade. Wish they had combos for that reason was not worth the money. Was good that didnt have to cook or go to grocery store. Overall was good and filling but my issue was the price. Mostly likely will not return unless we want a burger and dont feel like cooking. The taste just wasnt different from what you can make it your own kitchen.

I ordered just a cheeseburger combo and everything was delicious! !! The tea was the best! Oh lord, the fries were a lot but still great!! Not too salty either. Cant forget about that amazing burger, was like heaven in my mouth! (: will most definitely be going back there again!!

I honestly love their burgers here. My spouse introduced me to this place and we would go after work all the time. The milkshakes are pretty good here too. Theres never a huge wait for food neither. I say try it. Im not saying theyre the best burgers out but youll be satisfied.

Had the chance to try it out yesterday, and it was a very delicious burger. I tried it with the fried egg and I recommend that alot. Overall was a good burger and the fries and onion rings good as well, definitely going back. Went back, still good, but no Whataburger for sure...
