Food quality is going down hill and I believe itll never return to its original state. Today was the last time my family and I will ever enjoy breakfast here. For the last few months Ive notice a lot of negative trends: 1. The only fresh ingredients are eggs 2. Waffles taste very familiar to box mix 3. The kitchen staff only knows how to cook with purple onions, and if you know anything about onions then youll know that purple onions dont belong on half the dishes here. 4. The patty melt is a lie! This is the meal that sealed the deal for me today. My patty melt was a microwaves "bubba burger"! No sautéed onion and most importantly no dressing. Understandably I know the dressing is optional in some regions of the country, but there is no excuse for serving a frozen burger patty; what a sin. 5. Tomatoes are always green and flavorless. The list can go on and on and I wont badger you with my level of foodyness. The point Im trying to make is, this "quality" restaurant has been ruined by Sysco food products, lazy cooks, and poor quality control. I dont expect this restaurant to go under, nor will their Google rating slip below three stars anytime soon. because Texans judge food on portions and color, and not on flavor, quality, and fresh ingredients.

Too many teenagers who do not understand how to give good customer service work here. While waiting to give our name on the wait list, 3 hostesses/baristas completely ignored us as we were standing there to be acknowledged. After 30 seconds of chatting amongst themselves while we were standing right in front of them, we finally had to ask how long the wait was before they even looked at us. After being told the wait was 20 minutes for a party of 3, which we were okay with, we were finally sat at a table which had been empty and clean since we first out our name on the list. Waiting 20 minutes for a table that was ready all along was really annoying. Finally when we sit down our servers first words were "Hi, can I get you something to drink?" She spoke softly we could hardly hear anything she said. Our teenage server evidently did not have much practice in dealing with customers. There were many other inconsistencies with the service she provided compared to other servers we saw. So if you arent bothered by poor customer service, then youll be fine at Le Peep. On a side note, I used to work there as a hostess/barista while I was in high school and the staff seemed to be more professional back then than they are now.

Le Peep Stone Oak. What happened to this place? Breakfast time today, just us and only one other table. Order eggs. Scrambled was way over cooked to rubber protein blobs, poached was over cooked with hard yellow. I was told the over medium egg had to be redone because the cook didnt understand... I had to remind her at that point I had ordered over easy. Both of us had a hair in our food. No kidding. Gooey bun is apparently a dry toasted English muffin with cinnamon and a half cup of almond slivers. Who knew? And the worst part, I ordered wheat toast. Not getting it I asked and she turned around to the other table and said I must have accidentally brought it to him. She went over and took it from the table. He had eaten half the order. She gave me the remains and said she would cook another piece for the one he ate. Im sure she broke several health codes taking food off of one table and giving it half eaten to another. Unbelievable. Oh, and fairly light breakfast for 2 was over $30. NEVER AGAIN. Egg and I would have been packed with happy customers and it would have been less than half the price. Magnolia would have been the same cost or more but would have been marvelous.

Service was mediocre (hotesses, did not acknowledge us until after we had been standing there awkwardly; waitress, had to be told by a co-worker that we had not been helped). Food was terrible. My waffles tasted okay on the first bite and then increasingly tasted like cardboard- the wierdest experience. This was essentially how all the food was: the more you chewed, the more disappointed you became. I dont know what disappointed me more- the watery latte that had no flavor or the food...that had no flavor. I dont understand how people can justify paying for this mediocrity? There was one waitress that knew what she was doing (the one who made sure we were helped). She and the other hard workers at this establishment (as Im sure there are other hard workers) are the only justifiable reason for this place even deserving one star. Long story short? IHOP is a better value for your money.

We were highly disappointed this morning. We were looking forward to having a nice breakfast before traveling out of town for an appointment. We arrived about 9:15 and were seated immediately. There were three other parties that were seated after we were. We sat there without a word from any of the service people for 15 minutes. Upon seeing at least one of the other parties placing their order, we got up and walked out. There was not one comment from any of the service people, almost as if we did not even exist. We will definitely think twice before going there again. It’s a shame because the food is normally very good and it is only a couple blocks from home.

Food was fantastic, but needed some salt. Crepes benedict are a great option if you dont want the heaviness of the egg and muffin. Croissant was light and buttery. Over easy eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Didnt get 5 stars only because of service. Our waitress was a star but she was the only one working at 7:30 am and had a lot of tables to take care of by herself. Needs to have more staffat that time of morning as it starts getting pretty busy. There was no wait for a table, but wait for coffee and food but longer than it should have been. She told us it was only her and two people in the kitchen.

I rated the food a zero, due to the fact that we were seated and then never approached after 15 mins of being seated and the 3 waitresses that were serving the area bothered to ask if wed been helped. Ok, it was Saturday 11amish, but come on...3 waitresses did not ONCE stop to ask if wed been helped. Anyways, went to Cielito Lindo instead and enjoyed a swift, prompt, & courteous service. From the Mexican coffee to the very authentic Chilaquiles Veracruzanos. Ill definitely return to try other dishes.

Great breakfast and brunch selections. The Monte Cristo is the best Ive had. My only complaint that I ever have about this place is the seating arrangements; its a little tight so plan ahead if you have five or more in your group. Also, be sure to let the receptionists know your seating needs are, even if they are obvious.

Love the eggs Benedict Florentine! Love this place. Know all the waitresses and they are always prompt with service! Not sure what the other reviews issues were but I have never had a bad experience there. Food is GREAT and service is always with a smile!! I will continue to eat there!!

Food is very good with a varied menu. Staff is friendly but a bit slow in getting food to you. Sunday morning Churxh crowd can make for a long wait but it is worth it. Free wifi with password. Always bring out of town guests here. Coffee is so so. They dont take reservations.
