We love these paletas. Wife was looking for some good paletas here in San Antonio since she just immigrated from Tijuana when we found this place while in the car visiting family. We were used to paying around $1 - $2 for dripping watered down syrupy paletas so she expected these to be nowhere better, but maybe good enough to get her by since here they go for 50 cents each! (then 12 for $5.50 or 18 for $8 and so on...) She was very surprised. Here they have great flavors (horchata flavor actually tastes like horchata), the cream paletas are very soft and creamy with no dripping from watering down and no sticky mess from cheap sweeteners...also like that they seem to understand that more sweetener doesnt mean better tasting. They dont go overboard on the sweeteners like some tend to do. (Especially in Tijuana, lol) Now we come here when we run out buying 18 for 8 dollars, that is pretty much 2 paletas for free!

If youre looking for paletas (Mexican ice cream bars and fruit bars), this is the place that started it all in San Antonio! Dont go to the knock offs down the road. They are both more expensive and worse! And if ur looking for an easy fundraiser this is also a great idea! They sell paletas for 42¢ each and you can easily sell them for $1, even $1.50 if you have the right cried and the weather is hot - which it usually is in San Antonio. My favorite are the strawberry fruit bar and the cookies and cream bar, but the are lots of choices and they are all delicious!

This place has more than 25 or 45 different flavors from "normal" strawberry, peach, coffee or chocolate to the more unique Lucas, Mango Chili or Cucumber and every one of them is worth its weight in gold. But, the prices are outstanding. I buy a dozen every couple weeks and keep them in the freezer. Also, I belong to a club that has an annual Labor Day picnic and we buy 100 of these with the dry ice we need to keep everything for 24 hours. Just taking your basket and deciding which flavors are going home with you is a fun time.

The greatest Mexican style ice cream bars in town. In a former old-style Arbys building the bars are made on site. You can buy in bulk and pay less than the 50 cent per bar cost of a single. They have dry ice for sale by the pound to keep your purchases frozen. If you buy a large enough number they will even loan you a cart so that you can sell or give them away at your social event.

Greatest popsicles in the entire galaxy. Ive been eating these since I was a kid. Nice folks, incredible price, and many flavors to choose from. Another amazing thing (not often noticed) is that when you look at the nutrition label on each ice cream, youll be surprised at how short and simple the ingredients lists are. Not a bunch of junk in em like most other treats.

Love their ice cream bars, they have ice bars like watermelon, cantaloupe, Pickle, Pineapple and others, cream bars are Mango, Pina Colada, Coconut, Pecan, Banana, Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, cappuccino and more, real pieces of fruit in alot of then. Originated in Mexico, I use to drive to Nuevo Laredo to eat them, then many years ago this placed opened up.

Great Popsicles flavors to choose from. It is a bit small it there but you it is not designed to be an eat in establishment. You can bring your own cooler and stock up on all of the delicious flavors, they even have dry ice available to keep your goodies cold until you get home. Friendly and quick service with a great product. Great combination.

Wow! So much fun and so many choices! My family of five enjoyed this place tremendously. It brought back many memories of my childhood buying ice cream treats from vendors in parks in Southern California. I highly recommend it for a fun, very affordable, ice cream treat.

Very small space with limited parking, but have never had a problem getting a spot here. It can get crowded, so if there are quite a few people expect to wait a minute or two to grab what you want. The prices and quality are great and the staff is always friendly.
