I used to get my meals here all the time and then we learned that my kids and I have celiac disease. So we stopped ordering from here and I started having to cook all the time. Now they have an extensive gluten free menu and I really enjoy getting these meals delivered. I have noticed that they are adding more and more to the GF menu and I would love to see them add more gluten-free versions of traditional foods as well as the paleo menu. My family is not a fan of the meals that include coconut oil so that is my only criticism (I think they taste good, I just have a very coconut sensitive clan.) It seems expensive and sometimes I hem and haw over ordering. But, this weekend we got gluten free burgers at Hopdoddy and it was $60 for 4 people! So here we are spending maybe $35 and have leftovers. Also, I am not going to the grocery store as often or spending as much--I also use Shipt for the HEB essentials and it is crazy how much I save just staying out the store! So yes, this seems like a luxury, but since Im giving my kids chicken nuggets and boxed mac and cheese tonight I have to say this service is worth it. I hate having to plan meals and cook and this lets me work all day and still put dinner on the table at night.

The Studio Kitchen has changed my life, and quite frankly, I am ashamed that it has taken me so long to sing their praises! I was diagnosed with severe gluten intolerance 25 yrs ago (not surprising for this blood type O), and lets just say it has been an expensive and difficult road since (Whole Check, I mean Whole Foods anyone?). Then I happened upon The Studio Kitchen while researching paleo restaurants in the Austin area, not even realizing I would find an actual business that would completely prepare and deliver beautiful, delicious paleo meals to your door, requiring only reheating. You will be enjoying these meals in 30 minutes, not 2 hours, after a long day of your mind numbing job, when preparing dinner is the very last thing you feel like doing. BELIEVE IT!!! So, now I am able to come home, pop a delicious, healthy, dinner in the oven (or crock pot :D ), play with my pups, visit with my son, or stream a movie. I apologize for my long windedness but, only my rainbow vac, dish washer, & washing machine have been as life enhancing as The Studio Kitchen. So grateful for them! Cheers, Jessica Bryant

I cant say enough good things about The Studio kitchen. It is THE affordable healthy option when both parents work OR even if you have a stay at home parent, you cant beat it! Hands down I prefer The Studio Kitchen over Plated/ Blue Apron/ Hello Fresh etc. With these other options you still have to prep, follow the recipes, and clean your kitchen which all take a lot of extra time. In my opinion, why would you choose one of these other places when The Studio Kitchen meals are just as good AND there is NO prep or having to clean your kitchen? Combine this with the affordability of the meals, Studio Kitchen is a no brainer for my family. I recommend them to everyone. I travel a few times a month for my job and work full time. The Studio Kitchen saves me from the guilt I used to feel for not cooking health meals for my family AND allows me to spend my after work hours with them instead of planning meals/ shopping/ prepping and cleaning the kitchen.

This company saves me so much trouble. Dinner time has become much less stressful and my children can virtually get dinner ready as long as i have planned ahead to defrost one of The Studio Kitchens delicious entrees. The entrees are often something I wouldnt have made myself and there is variety in that the selection changes frequently. I look forward to knowing what selections are coming next. A few favorites of ours include the Walnut Brussell Sprouts, the TexMex Ravioli, and the Sweet Potato Biscuit!. Most of their dishes come frozen, with clear instructions for preparation. A couple side items are not frozen and are delicious cooked according to label instructions. Its so nice to have an entree made up and all I need to do is place it in the oven. The food is well made and its almost no mess to clean up as the entrees come in disposable foil packaging. It is so convenient and helpful and yummy!

Super helpful at the store. Explained everything in detail, then lets you sit at a computer to figure out what you want and is there if you have questions. Not pushy at all. Most meals come in portions to serve 3. My wife and I have started the paleo diet plan. It is almost too much food, but I have started to loose some weight. Most of the meals are very good and some are not to our liking, but we arent used to healthy eating. Im sure we will become accustomed to them as our bodies get cleaned from the inside. We can always "tailor" the menu to meals we enjoyed. All meals are frozen and ready to prepare with simple instructions. You will use a crock pot, skillet or oven (we use the toaster oven for most things requiring the oven.) Healthy eating and since everything you need is included and prepped, you save on time and money in the long run.

Ive used Studio Kitchen for years now and it has only gotten better. I used to feel a bit guilty that I wasnt cooking more myself, but I finally freed myself of that! The meals were getting from Studio Kitchen are tastier and more nutritious than I would have made myself. (Hamburger Helper anyone??) My kids are eating better and are being exposed to a better variety of meals. It cuts down my shopping and most importantly the ever dreaded meal planning time. When I consider the ingredients I used to throw out because it went bad before I could get around to cooking it, the price for Studio Kitchen is very reasonable. And now with the delivery, I feel so spoiled. We all get excited when we see that big box on the porch! The very berry cobbler is amazing and the brownies (please do these again soon!) are the best brownies Ive ever had.

ive used the studio kitchen since i had my second child in july 2011. the choice to use studio kitchen almost exclusively is a result of a simple cost/benefit analysis. its worth the cost to me to have food prepared and delivered to my house. the money spent is worth the amount of time spent planning, shopping for and preparing meals myself, not to mention the variety and lack of waste. if i want to try a new recipe (slow cooked peppered beef tonight), i dont have to go buy 3 bell peppers and use 2 1/2 of them while the rest goes to waste in my fridge. it doesnt seem like much, but if you want to eat something different fairly regularly, all that waste adds up. i am happy, my family is eating fresh, healthy food and, as long as the math is still in my favor, ill continue using TSK.
