Unfortunately this place has dropped off quite a bit over time. Used to be my favorite steakhouse but that changed over the last three times weve been. This time my wife and I were trying to have a nice anniversary dinner and the reservation was for 7:15. Thats just a possible time for seating. As in, you come at 7:15 and if theres room at that time we will seat you. Somebody should tell them that reservations are for people who will be there, so you should plan to have table space at that point. Otherwise just be first come first serve. The remedy was a free appetizer, but I wasnt in the mood to stay. The hostess showed me two table options at 7:45. One was sitting at a table back up to the bar in a loud dining area. I should mention. I requested the quiet main dining room. The next option was to put a table in the middle of the room in the quiet dining area surrounded by large groups and other quiet tables (maybe even the one I reserved). Really romantic, dudes. Did I mention I said I wanted a quiet table in the main dining room in the reservation? We left and the hostess ran us down in the parking lot. She offered a card and for me to call the owner for him to send me free dinner coupons. I will call and get them...Ill give them to someone else to try them. The last time we came in, I had to send my steak back twice. They did eventually get it right. The long and short of it, I would rather travel to Bobs or one of the other prime steakhouses.

I am sometimes called upon to entertain important corporate partners. Recently I decided to try this Silver Fox location because it is convenient to our offices. Big mistake. The service was very slow, and as soon as the waiter determined it was a business dinner he became intent upon pushing items to pad the bill. The food, when it finally arrived, was far below the quality you would expect for the prices paid. The individual orders were also screwed up, with lots of plate swapping after much Spanish conversation between our waiter and his assistants, including trips back to the kitchen to get the side dishes correct. My steak was overcooked, tough and served at room temperature. An incident at the end of the meal summed it up for me. My Swiss-French guests tried a relatively expensive Cognac recommended by our waiter as he pushed to pad the bill one last time. One of my guests conversed in French with his colleagues as they sipped their Cognac. When I asked what he thought of our servers recommendation, I was told apologetically after a long delay, "Truthfully, I probably would not even cook with this stuff". These same guys now sing the praises of III Forks every time I take them there.

Good food good service but the prices are outrageous. I asked to have my steak served with Oscar. I got about a tablespoon of crab sauce on my steak and they charge me $15 extra for it. I ordered the dinner for two that came with a side. This evening they had a special side but it would cost a little extra to add it to the dinner for two. I agreed to the extra cost but little did I know $18 was the extra amount. I thought it might be eight or nine dollars more. I had a $50 Groupon that I dont think they even applied but they had so many different additions and subtractions to my receipt I couldnt make sense of it. I felt like I got Hornswoggle. I wont be back. theres other places to go get a good steak where you dont get hornswoggled.

The word that comes to mind when I think about our recent Thanksgiving dinner at Silver Fox is Amazing! From the time we arrived (our reserved table was waiting for us) to our departure, we enjoyed a memorable experience. The waits staff was attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. Jason Campbell the proprietor was welcoming and had a vast education of the world of wines. His recommendation of a yummy white went so well with our meal. Every course presented was prepared just right. I get hungry thinking of that lovely meal. Thank you to all at Silver Fox for making our Thanksgiving an unforgettable one. (Rock on Rubaiyat)

We celebrated a birthday tonight and the staff couldnt have been any more attentive and nicer. Jason stopped by to welcome us and Noah, our waitress had the nicest smile with making our experience special. The steaks were outstanding and cooked to perfection. We didnt expect a birthday dessert, so that delicious cheesecake with strawberries made the birthday celebration one where we said we will eat at the Silver Fox every celebration we have! Thanks Jason for all you do and the way you make your customers feel special!

The steaks are excellent, the service is outstanding and friendly, the bar has an outstanding selection, the wine list is comprehensive, and the prices are fair. Since meals are served "full plated", the typical add-on price for potatoes and whatever is included in the menu price. My wife and I live only a few miles away, so, for the past few years, this has been our go-to location at least 2 or 3 times a month. On the not-too-common occasions I need to do business entertaining, Silver Fox is the first place I think of.

Filet Mignon with three forks salad. Both dishes were served well, bread was excellent. Filet was seasoned perfectly and the salad had just enough dressing (it was tossed with the salad). Iced Tea tasted freshly made as well. And kudos for this North Texas establishment for using a water filter to purify the city water more so there is no after taste......some restaurants in North Dallas do not do that (small detail that I also noticed). So five stars everything was perfect.

Out of all of the restaurants in the Dallas area, this is my favorite; and my wife’s too. The III Forks salad is always my starter, but my wife will sometimes go with the lobster bisque. The steaks are all amazing and the creamed corn is a MUST! They have a terrific wine menu, with great wines from $50 - $$$$$, and everything in between. When I have important customers in town, the Silver Fox is very often my “go-to” choice.

Brought my wife here with the kids for Mothers Day. They had a special menu for the day that was around $40 for a three-course meal. My wife had the salmon and I had Chateaubriand with a salad and dessert. The kids had something a la carte. The food was amazing. Everything from the salad to the dessert was good and the service was excellent. Id definitely go back (without the kids) and can say she enjoyed herself.

I could have ordered a 16 oz. steak for $35 but decided on the Special 14 oz with the bone. We were not told the price of the Special but assumed it would be less expensive or at least approxmately the same price. The 14 oz. Special turned out to be $64. It was delicious but not worth $64. The bread was terrible. The tomatoes were great.
