The computers have been down the last few times we tried to order. Tonights order went through, but when my husband went to pick it up the computers were down again and it took forever. He drove 15 minutes home before he realized part of our order was missing. I sat on hold for 15 minutes as I drive back to attempt to get my childs dinner. Once inside the restaurant, I was informed they were no longer taking orders (even though this is an order they should have had from an hour earlier). The manager told the lady at the cash register he was too busy to speak with me. I was frustrated, so I walked over to where he was and he said the whole kitchen would fall apart if he stepped out to help/speak with me. Smoke coming out of my ears at this point, I left and said wed never be back. I get it...the computers going down makes for a stressful night, but there was absolutely no customer service here. While the lady behind the register was polite, she was unable to offer me any solution. I mentioned to her that the computers seem to have been down the last several times we tried to order and she said, "yes, this always happens on Sundays." We wont be back, but if you plan to go to Pei Wei in Allen, Id avoid at all costs on Sundays.

Pei Wei is cheap GMO veggies from Mexico, fried in fattening oil, with dangerous levels of sodium, marketed to appear healthy. Its fast food, and its extremely bad for your body. My family and I tried a few entrees, none were good. Poor quality in every way imaginable. In the tacky Cafeteria style dining area, only table open was sticky. The tables near us were dirty and gross. The floor was blanketed with old rice, veggies, and trash from previous guests. The both bathrooms had a foul odor, and toilet paper on floor, but not in the stall. No paper towels either. My son had to get an employee to get toilet paper. The cashiers were rude and disrespectful when we politely complained. Jack, the Manager, listened to our complaints and apologized. Re: the food, he offered to remake our entrees . I said, no, and then had to reiterate we were disgusted in the quality, and we just want a refund, so we could leave and go eat dinner elsewhere before it got too late in the evening. He kept trying to sell us this stupid idea about how great Pei Wei is, etc...all he cared about was annoying us further. Jack, next time just give the refund without Sales pitch. UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES.

I told the woman I wanted white rice. I even repeated myself on the order, and she still gave me fried rice. I told the other woman when I actually got the food that I said I wanted white rice. She asked if a side of white rice was alright. I asked if the fried rice was mixed in with the other food in the entree. She said it was in the same plate/bowl but not mixed together. She was wrong, the fried rice was absolutely mixed with the protein, making the dish awful for anyone who doesnt like all the things in fried rice, including the eggs, and carrots or whatever. The other food was also not cooked well. And the waiting area was horrendously cramped and unorganized. Paid over 10 dollars for a horrible experience. This is actually the first time Ive ever felt the need to complain.

I SO BADLY want to like pei wei but they always disappoint. The chicken was dry and the tofu was... really really bad. Ive had the pei wei spicey, some curry dishes, the pad thai, and more over several years. Ive been to the Pei Wei in fort worth, Plano, and Allen. I go about once a year hoping it to be good, but Ive never had an experience with their food that was good. I dont understand how they are still in business. If only Dallas had the restaurant chain "Noodles"... if only.. If you actually want to go some place good, go to Thai Soon in Richardson. Their food is just a little bit more and ALWAYS good. (EDIT: I went to the location in plano recently and the thai basil chicken was actually good)

I know, its pan-asian but.. This doesnt mean that you can invent new recipes and sell a wonton for a fried one. Severs were rude, cashier was helpful though. Not a very good experience, me and my coworkers had a stomach pain, at the beginning I thought that was just me, but then one for them, two of them... Three of them!!! So at the end all of us was in line at the office restrooms... Imagine. Now, in all honesty, although the food was not genuinely Chinese, it was tasting good. Our food was ready after a very reasonable amount of time, chopsticks were available as well fortune cookies, nice ambient... We had to do a little line but honestly, first and last time for me.

I like the look. Wood, spacious, clean. I came at 4, so it wasnt busy. Service was very fast. The store manager and woman at the register were both polite, attentive, and welcoming. The manager was working the floor, hands on. Know that there is significant background noise caused by the AC units. You may want to sit away from them. I think my local Plano Pei Wei did a better job on the Kung Pao beef. Overall, good experience. I didnt notice / encounter the issues noted by other reviewers in the past three weeks.

pei weds food is good if they make what you order, which they seldom do correctly. I ordered again the Sesame Chicken with Extra Veges and Quinoa. Well, once again there was very little chicken, no pea pods whatsoever, tons of carrots, huge pieces of onion and it was just gross. This is not the first or second time this has happened. Now, my husbands which cost $1 more because of shrimp was fine. All the right veggies in proportion. How hard is it for an asian restaurant to make sesame chicken? REALLY!!!!!!

This is our go-to location for Pei Wei. Its basically the same quality as P.F. Chang, but in a more casual and reasonably priced atmosphere. My wife and I really like the food here. Im deducting one star because their quality has been inconsistent lately, with a couple of orders tasting bland and not being received at the expected temperature. Its pretty disappointing to bring home food and have it be less enjoyable than youd hoped for. Anyways, over all this is a great place to visit for an Asian style meal.

ALWAYS screwing up ordered meals. Yes, always. Each and every time...3 times in a row! It appears to be a challenge for them to find new ways to either leave out the chicken, get the spicy order to be spicy, you name it - they will find a way to jack it up. If you are ordering to-go, PLEASE give your order a once-over b/c once you get home, well, as Gomer Pyle says: Surprise, Surprise, SURPRISE!!!

This location is the best!! My co workers and I had lunch today and it was a great experience. The food was not only delicious but it was hot and on our table in minutes!...much appreciated when your on an hour lunch break. We were greeted by friendly employees and the manager made a point to make sure we were taken care of. 5 stars for certain!!
