I am a super Ramen fan, I have been to many places like, Ichiran, Ippudo in New York, and some other ramen restaurants in other big cities. I have to say, the shouyou paitain ramen here is amazing, although it is chicken broth, many people may like Tonkotsu, which is not provided here. The chicken broth ramen here is outshine than tonkotsu than other places. Also the appetizer here is wonderful. Different kinds of wings will give you different taste. I will strongly recommend bbq chashu bun, the bun is super amazing, the meat taste is not as good as the bun. One more is their Meshikou Karaage, I have never and ever taste fried chicken better than this. The sauce combines with the chicken , will make you over the moon. About the service, well, it is very busy at some specific time, you may need to wait for a while if you come with a group. The server may not have enough chance to serve you if they are busy, they do not have too many servers. However, all the servers are very nice, they can deliver everything you need. It is a really good restaurant, really surprised me i can find a place like this in Columbus. Hope it will last longer.

Awesome food, service, and decor! Located in a sleepy strip mall this is the pearl in the oyster! We had the Karaage appetizer and 2 bowls of the Meshikou Black ramen. The flavors were bold and in you face the way they should be and backed with the creaminess of the broth. Pork belly (cooked to perfection) along with mushrooms graced the top of the wavy ramen along with a ramen egg. Sucking air in while eating the noodles (the art of slurping ramen) makes all these flavors absolutely explode in your mouth and force a smile to your face (as if you werent already smiling). Service was amazing and on top of things. Restaurant was spotlessly clean and the decor is slickly modern without being Ikea-esque. Next time well try sitting at the Ramen Bar so that we can watch behind the scenes as the art of Ramen has always been fascinating. Would I go back? As soon as I was hungry enough to eat again I was thinking of what my next order from that menu will be!

Today was my first time trying ramen that didnt involve a seasoning packet! hahah. It was absolutely delicious! Everyone in there was all smiles and the atmosphere was cheerful. I love the decorations, the beautiful wood walls/tables, and the open kitchen concept. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari, which is always hard to perfect, and it was amazing. It was the perfect amount because the ramen was HUGE and filling! I suggest getting it with the pork belly, yum yum! The prices are reasonable as well! Our check was 38$ minus tip, which was 20% :), for 2 bowls, app, and 2 sodas. Our drinks never went empty and our table was prebussed till the end. Ill be back and Ill be bringing friends!

Went with entire family including our 2 boys (4 & 7). We ordered calamari, BBQ pork buns, and KFC chicken for starters. This is what the boys ate mostly. They enjoyed them all. Calamari was crispy and flavorful. BBQ bikes were great... Boys thought it was marshmallow haha. KFC chicken was a bit soccer for my 4 year old. We also tried the ramen which was great. The broth is the star. We also had a chicken bowl which was very good. Great experience, good vibe, great server, and nice to find a place we all liked. No kids menu or dessert. Also they started they dont have ramen for take out.

This is a hidden gem with some of the best ramen soups. Food is fresh and pork belly melts in your mouth. If we are going for dinner we try to go early since there is not a lot of seating it can fill up very quickly. I recommend the hot tea with your meal as it is always very good. Service is just like the food and among some of the best. If you like ramen or have never tried fresh ramen this is where you should go. And if you think of ramen as the brick of noodles you cooked in a hot pot in a college dorm then you need to find out what ramen soup really tastes like.

拉面的味道很不错,因为是比较正宗的拉面,你需要等待久一点,但是味道是很棒的,在此推荐给大家。很好吃。Ramen taste very good, because it is more authentic ramen, you need to wait a little longer, but the taste is great, I recommend this to everyone. delicious.

Great contemporary setting and outstanding food for a sensible price. The Ramen, obviously the highlight of Meshikou is characterized by a savory broth, variety of flavors, and tender noodles. The appetizers and side dishes are certainly not ignored by Meshikou and are great compliments to the main course of Ramen. Overall, a very nice ramen place that serves great food at a fair price.

Hospitality was a strong theme here; the atmosphere was jovial, like thanksgiving dinner without the angry parents. Foodwise, the ramen was a soft-water hotspring; the broth smooth on the tongue, the noodles springy and the added pork belly softer than your first loves kiss. The staff were considerate as was the design which were easy on the eyes. Would recommend to friends and family.

Im from out of town and was craving some good authentic Ramen. Saw the reviews left by others and drove 25 mins. and it was worth it! Not to salty, not to spicy and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Im coming back one more time before my flight back to Florida. It takes a lot to please my discriminating taste bud. This place hit the spot! I highly recommend it!

This place has been a grand slam every time my wife and I have gone so I figured Id treat them to a review. Mala Ramen is delicious and SO creamy if you can handle the spice. The brothless noodles are my new favorite since the sauce sticks to the noodles better and are full of flavor. Staff is always very friendly. I highly recommend you give it a try.

Its disappointing that they arent using the traditional tonkotsu broth, but instead a less interesting and Americanized chicken broth. That said, this is a reasonably solid and tasty casual offering, especially for a suburban area, which typically lacks more daring fare such as this. Pork buns are excellent. Prices are reasonable. Service is attentive.

One of the, if not the best Ramen shop Ive had this side of the pasific. The store is nice and the staff is fantastic. The Ramen is what really makes this place fantastic. They must cook the broth for days, its so smooth and with so much flavor its really addictive. My only complaint is that its far enough away that I cant eat there everyday.

5 Stars for ramen- tasty broth, good pork belly, really tasty bamboo We also ordered a rice bowl with karaage. That was priced really well and could be a cheap under $5 lunch. The karaage itself seemed more like just fried chicken as it had no other flavors. In any case you still got the best ramen in Columbus so far.

4.5 , i been trying to go there for the longest now . I finally did and it was great . The tates of the braf was amazing and the pork . My only complaint is that the noodles wpre on the small side . They look like top ramen .and the wings wornt as good . But i came for the ramen not the wings .
