Over the last 4 years, Rugby House has become our go to place for family dinners and events. Birthdays, New Years Eve, Halloween, and more. We love this place! The staff and owners seem like one big family and are super friendly. The menu is full of pub classics yet innovated and updated frequently. Though I was sad to see the brisket sliders removed from the menu, it wasnt hard to find a delicious replacement to my favorite me. Other favorites include the Cowboy Nachos, Meatloaf, Shepards Pie, Macaroni and Cheese (to die for), Fish and Chips, Southwest Chicken Club, Burgers, and Fish Tacos. I have yet to have a disappointing meal here, incorrect order, or bad experience. Sunday brunch is a must try and I highly recomment Big Mikes Bad Ass Breakfast. Mouth watering Irish classics! Additionally, they have a wide variety of beers on tap in addition to liquors. Despite being a pub, Rugby House is family friendly. Also, this is a great place to watch sporting events from football to soccer (local and European as well) and of course rugby. The atmosphere is electric! A must try, locally owned dining, drinking, and fun experience!

The service was very good. The staff sat us immediately, took our orders, and checked on our table many times. They were very attentive. Three of us ordered burgers and one of us ordered the Reuben sandwich. The Reuben sandwich was good and fries that came with all the orders were hot and crispy. The burgers were where we ran into problems. The patty on the first had a very weird taste and it was not eaten at all. The second was a cheeseburger and was mediocre. I ordered the Rugger. The patty was dry and tough. It appeared to be cooked all the way through, but shortly after lunch I became ill. The person who ate the cheeseburger stated they became nauseous as well. This may be a great place to drink, but it is definitely not a great place to eat. If you end up eating here stick with a sandwich or an appetizer. There are many alternatives in the area so I recommend eating elsewhere.

I had the misfortune of being present on their one year anniversary and received, hands down, the absolute WORST service I had ever seen at a bar or so-called "pub." The owner and wait staff seemed to be more concerned with snapping pictures of their sponsored softball team swilling bud light from a bottle than taking care of patrons. In the three hours my friends and I were there, the staff stopped in maybe five times to see if we needed anything. At one point I finally went up to the bar to get my own beer. The shame of it is, I live in the neighborhood and would have liked to make it more of a regular stop, but after tonight I wont be back. With service like this heres to seeing them shutter before they can celebrate a two year anniversary, cheers!

We came on St. Patricks day and the crowd was surprisingly underwhelming. Our server was nice an attentive, but obviously busy. We were disappointed to find out several items on the menu were not available. What we did order I can only describe as edible. Our drinks came in plastic cups. I ordered the fish and chips, no chips came. My partner ordered the scotch egg and bangers and mash. The sausage was burnt, the mashed potatoes were good. Overall I wish we made a different choice. The food wasnt very good. Otherwise it seems like a fairly popular bar. Played lots of Irish music and a decent atmosphere. I imagine as a bar alone its a much better experience, not so much as a restaurant.

Horrible service, I felt like I was making them mad by ordering a beer, go figure I got the wrong beer and charged on the card that I was putting down (Even though I said I was paying with cash) and charged in cash. I would pick The Holy Grail which has a better beer selection, bartenders that will remember you and are friendly, and it doesnt smell like urine. Do not go to this place unless you want to wake up finding extra charges, I can only assume they are pocketing the cash and making up for their liquor cost. There are far better places to go get a beer in Plano / Frisco.

Everything I have eaten here has been great. They use fresh ingredients prepared well, which is always a good recipe in my book. The atmosphere is laid back and unpretentious. Man! Do they have a wonderful selection of beer that is dynamically rotated through the seasons. If you cant tell. I really love this place, and you can normally find me there with a cold one in my hand talking to a group of my friends.

I come to this place, like, all the time. Their staff is great, the food is even better, and the drink selection is fantastic (they have Smithwicks)! After 11 pm they have a $3 bar bites menu which features SUPER tasty sliders and fish tacos! Their food is cooked with much finesse, and they even offer WMD hot sauce. NO ONE HAS WMD HOT SAUCE. Anyway, come here and you wont be disappointed.

Wow. Amazing food. Not "bar" food, its actually really well prepared and flavorful! Best cheese fries I have ever had. Great beer selection! I went with my mother, teenage son and husband and thought it would be awkward in a Pub setting but the staff is so friendly and attentive. Menu is large; I couldnt decide what to get! I will definitely be coming here more often.

Was there on a Sunday afternoon to watch a football game. The food was pretty good. French toast and breakfast tacos were ordered, and both were tasty. The patty melt was decent, and the cowboy nachos were served on potato chips, which got really soggy. Service was mediocre at best. The server passed our table many times, but rarely stopped to check on us.

Best place in Plano to go for good beer and great service. The bartenders always have my drink waiting and I have tried a number of different items on the menu and everything is fantastic. Bartenders are very knowledgable about the beer and always friendly. Recommend this place over the holy grail Irish icehouse and down under everyday of the week!

Although the food was really good, the service was REALLY SLOW. (and there were only 2 guest parties at the place) They were also out of one of the lunch specials and it was only 11:45 am. I will go back again to give them another chance....I DO want to check out their happy hour and actually have one or more beers from their extensive menu.

Lame place to be. Will never go back and would pick hanging at Applebees over this place ANY day!! You would think if you name your place "RUGBY HOUSE" the waitresses would actually know a little bit about rugby or at least pretend. Over priced alcohol, For homely women and boring people, But ok food!

HOLY CRAP THIS FOOD IS BOMB! In from Portland, and kick ass to find a spot more addicted to providing quality food than over played hooters style bars! Brews were great, I even tried a local Neato Bandito, and I didnt miss PDX at all! Corned beef was also they best weve had! Mahaloz

Went to watch the Barcelona vs Espanyol derby, but no tv had the game on and they wouldnt change the channel on a single tv when I asked. The pub site has the FC Barcelona crest and a room in the pub is filled with FC Barcelona memorabilia. I guess today they werent supporters.
