Note- Reviewing here & on Yelp. I echo Gary Ds feelings about the recent changes here. I have loved every meal I had here UNTIL their recent changes. Husband & I went Saturday night (6/4/16), expecting our usual satisfying meals. As I looked over their new limited paper menu, I noticed almost everything stated it included a touch of marinara. Im not a marinara fan & had difficulty choosing from the new menu. I selected chicken marsala, which is usually one of my reliable choices. My husband chose a seafood dish & we started with bruschetta. Previously, bruschetta was excellent here- not now! The main courses took over an hour & others seated after us were served before. The same marinara sauce was used for both dishes & I couldnt even taste a hint of marsala wine! The server didnt bring sweetener for our iced teas, so I had to ask for it. When she finally brought it, the table in front of us stopped her & asked for it, so she gave what I asked for to them & I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for her to go back & get more for us! UNREAL! I was so disappointed in this visit & will be asking neighbors for Italian recommendations. As far as Mio Amore- go back to your previous incarnation. Otherwise, your customers will all go elsewhere!

As an Executive Chef with over 26 years of culinary world experience, I am truly saddened at the lack of passion this restaurant displayed with the preparation of our meal. Our meal all $70.00 is in the trash... We ordered the Eggplant Parmesan which was soggy and no salt (when I say no salt, there was no salt) We ordered the Chicken & Sausage Giambotta which was well under seasoned again no salt, really poorly prepared and I mean your cooks need training!!! Caesar Salad had literally 1/4 cup of water at the bottom of the foil container but was crisp and fresh Bread Rolls, definitely not fresh baked out of the oven. I can not even tear the rolls in half as they are hard as a rock Ordered 2 pizzas also, Margarita and 4 Stagioni...Really below Average and not a true Neapoletan Pizza as these are not made with San Marzano tomatoes. I could go on and on about how bad the food is, could just be our luck. PLEASE do not prepare sub par food that we will have to throw away. By the way, I have never written a review but this was just so bad I was shocked!!!

If I could give this place zero stars for the worst service I have ever received, I would. They called me and left a voice mail that they had given away my reserved balcony for my sons wedding rehearsal dinner only 10 days before the event!!! Invitations had already been sent out for 40 people. I booked the balcony 6 months before and made my deposit, which Cafe Amore cashed at the time of the reservation. I checked in with them every couple of months just to reconfirm, as this was an important event. Their response was "sorry." The owners daughter, Dana, called to try to keep my business, even though they had already given away the balcony. Offered a "GIFT CARD." THAT WAS A WEEK AGO-HAVENT RECEIVED ANYTHING YET - PROBABLY NEVER WILL. The owners do not care any more about service than their staff.

i went to this place bc been craving some quality non-chain Italian food...saw reviews on here and decided to check it out..the murals on the ceiling are nice...i wanted spaghetti n meatballs, but was disappointed they werent homemade, so I got the stromboli, which was average. everyone else seemed to like their meals. no complaints on food, just wish it was more homemade The service was pretty poor. When we were ready to order, we couldnt get any help...when we were eating and talking, she kept interrupting even though we told her we were fine. its almost as if she wanted us to leave. it was BYOB so price was very reasonable. overall not bad, but not somewhere Id recommend if you want fine italian dining.

I went there a few nights ago for a friends birthday dinner so I had no choice in the matter. I knew I was headed for trouble when the bread came and it was yeasty and buttered, like the kind you find in fried chicken places. I picked one of the many veal scalloppini varieties (there were 6 or 7 of these) that featured two clashing, uninspired sauces. The tiramisu was about as boring and mediocre as the entree, although the coffee was not bad. Its your basic Italian-style cafeteria food (with matching cafeteria pepper and parmesan cheese dispensers on the table). Decor is tacky, service is slow. I have had much better Italian cuisine elsewhere, at about the same price.

Appetizer of calamari was great. But the entrees took a long time and were terrible. My husband had the chicken parm that was cooked in old oil. My 19$ beef medallion platter was a small portion of overcooked meat that was mostly tough silver fat. I couldnt even cut through with my knife. Had to send it back (first time Ive ever done that!) and they then sent me a new cut that was still overcooked (not medium rare) and smelled like it had turned. Our waitress was great but didnt seem surprised the food was bad. Never going back here, this place has gone downhill from our last visit a few months ago.

The service here is by far the worst i have ever experience any where! When me and my guest arrieved we were not even greeted in. It took 12 min ( i timed it) for someone to ask if we needed a table. Not to mention he was very rude and careless! After that it took another couple min to get seated! Our waiter was cluless about the items on the menu. After serving our food the waiter never came back to get refills or check on us. The food was cold and nasty! i would NOT go back to that place even if they paid me to go!

We just ate there for the first time 2 nights ago and it was awesome! We had Mozzarella garlic cheese bread and it was great. They also serve this bread with dipping sauce that is great too. It is also very affordable as well. Most plates are 10 bucks or less. My wife got a stromboli and she loved it and it was only 6 bucks. The service was good. Could be better, but the food came out quickly and the food was spot on.

We had a party of 19. So it wasnt without its issues of dividing up checks and getting everyones drinks (who arrived over a thirty minute period), but the server we had took it all in stride. She was amazing, and our group put that poor woman to the test. The food was all pretty good, and I sampled a lot. I would gladly make the drive again to take my family.

Service was meh. Ordered something simple. Spaghetti and meat balls. Meatballs were completely bland along with the sauce. Army noodles and ketchup came to mind though not necessarily that bad. It would be nice for some spice. if you cant handle a basic I probably wont trust you with something more complex.

Nice food. Love the dip for the bread. Appetizer was a little too expensive for the amount of the food. The pizza was too soft, but the flavor was great. Everything was tasty, but not oily. Nice atmosphere. Not impressed by the dessert, and the service was not great.
