when my 22yr old son was in kindergarten we started eating at fangfang. the very best food ever. fresh veggies,nice and chunky sized. the service was like talking with family. we could call in an order and they would already know it by heart. for example: house fried rice-only peas and carrots;3 chicken fried rice-only peas and carrots. we had a choice of brown rice,white rice,or lo mein with our plates. my beef broccoli with lo mein, i would substitue carrots for mushrooms.my husband does not care for rice but that WAS not a problem since we had a choice of what to have. his was garlic shrimp with lo mein. WELL saturday feb 6 2016 was the end of an era. since weve been living away from plano since 2005 it has always been a special trip to our best family cooked fast food. so i go in feb 6 and started my order with the usual rice. i then asked for my husbands usual order and was told no lo mein with garlic shrimp only rice. i repeated my request and was rudely told that i would not get my food cooked special. if i wanted lo mein i had to order it separate. i was a bit confused because for years we always had the same order. so i take a minute to look at the wall menu and choose shrimp lo mein and beef lo mein. only realizing when i got home that we werent getting any good veggies. what i ordered was noodles and shrimp. it was DRY and mabe 5 small pieces of onions and the same for the bean sprouts.carrots and shrimp. and the carrots were the little square FROZEN kind. the same for everything we got that day. the rice was DRY and mabe 5 or 6 frozen peas and carrots. no flavor. only a few tiny pieces of onion and bean sprouts. NOT only we these unfriendly people the were rude. and finnaly when i asked if they were going to throw in the usual fortune cookies,i was told no they are extra. we feel a great loss at losing our special family.aunt and uncle,neice where are you? i really mean this. where are you all now. i hope all is well. as for the new owners you guys RAISED most of the PRICES and ruined the food.

My initial impressions were low because I ordered online for delivery and waited quite a long time for delivery. That all changed when the delivery man showed up. Immediately I could tell he was out of breath and proceeded to apologize to me multiple times and said he was late. I assured him it was no problem but you could tell he was being genuine. The food quality blew me out of the water right away. The wonton soup was the best ive ever had, bar none. The hot sauce was excellent. The teriyaki chicken is delicious and the portions are significant. Best of all, the food was piping hot when it was delivered so I know it was fresh. Despite my long wait, the genuinely apologetic delivery man and top notch food quality caused me to immediately download the Yelp app and create an account. I saw another review saying there are new owners recently. If thats the case, it certainly explains why my impressions are better than many of the old reviews. I definitely recommend this place and hope they have continued success!

Sitting here at the restaurant if you could call it that. I told the person at the counter that i had 3 super orders and he took one order and then answered the phone and took 2 orders before pulling the cook to take my additional two orders. The cook takes one order and then walks away and then i have to wait again for the 1st guy to get off the phone to take my 3rd order. I commend foreigners on opening their own businesses but this guy has a huge language barrier issue and you can tell they hae no idea on how to manage both in store customers and call ins. Havent tried their food yet but i can only imagine.... and on top of all that they charge $2.50! For fried rice instead of steamed rice. Most places will give you an option and not upcharge you for it. More than likely will be my first and last time coming.

The food was awesome. The hot and sour soup was some of the best Ive had and the Egg Foo Yung was really great especially with the added jalapenos. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were there with a group of five and it seems like they are more geared towards take out, but we felt very welcomed to stay. The portions are huge though so if youre a light eater maybe share something. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. Our only issue with the whole experience was that the soup was a little luke warm, other than that everything tastes great.

I ordered delivery and the driver didnt speak English so it took an extra 20 minutes to get my food. When it arrived, I could immediately tell they used angel hair pasta for the lo mein. I asked for it to be saucy and it was extremely dry. The quality of the beef was horrible and also the chicken. Felt completely cheated considering this was supposed to be CHINESE and not Chinese spaghetti. Will not be ordering again.

Ive been here a few times and each successive time the quality of the food was worse. The sesame chicken tasted like it was a few days old. We had also ordered the chicken fried rice and the stench that emanated from the rice totally ruined our appetite. Sadly we threw away all the food we had ordered that day. The owners are really sweet but the food was horrifying. Not going back there again.

Fang fang not the same my many trips to order food not good. Big daddy AND little moma not made right and they claim the dont speak English my food tonight not good at all please old owners please come back. Help not very nice at all i hope your reading this were family and they just not cooking it right. Customer Service nt nice. Help or im not coming back

I ordered the chicken lo mein and its so delicious and its so much food. I wasnt sure what kind of food they served when I pulled up in the parking lot, it doesnt look too fancy inside, but these guys are not are messing around. I would highly recommend to order food from Fang Fang. I am happy with my food, this is the way food should be.

We just moved to Plano , so we were on the lookout for good food in the area . I spotted Fang Fang as I was leaving Walgreens . Its not much to look at as they are mostly take out . The food was a little pricey a it took a little longer than I expected to prepare my order . It was all worth it . The food is awesome . Ill be back for sure .

so i ordered food for delivery about 1 hour 30 mins ago and the food is still not here. called the restaurant and the guy on the phone barely spoke english and laughed at me while i complained about how late the service was. i will not be ordering from this restaurant again and ill tell every one to stay clear of them!

I recommend the chicken fried rice its so GOOD! the flavor is so good theres no words to describe how delicious their rise is. And theres no other chinese restaurant out there that tastes as delicious as from Fang Fang and their dinner plates are so Unique the taste its all because its there secret recepie ;)
